If you have children that are into any type of vehicle this is the place to visit. The showroom allows access and playtime with any of their vehicles. We were in search of Garbage Trucks for our toddler and came up short at local toy stores. Bruder Toys was our Savior and we were able to get our boy his now favorite toys. Staff was friendly although we arrived 20 minutes prior to closing and usually employees are clocked out mentally by then. They made our first visit very inviting. We also took advantage of their open box sales and got a great deal.

Online says they are open. Drove over an hour to get there and they are doing curb side pick up only. Took over twenty minutes to get items after they said pick up after 12. Was given the incorrect item that is worth $40 less.

Took our grandson there today as a surprise. There were a bunch of kids in the play area checking out all types of toys. Our little guy was able to test drive a few different trucks and we were able to narrow the choice down for a birthday present. He was thrilled. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Check out was very easy. Noticed that some parents need to keep a closer eye on the little ones. All and all a delightful experience for the little ones.

Bruder's retail/toy testing area is open to the public for free to test out (fancy way of saying "play with") products before purchasing their "just like the real thing" (motto) toy vehicles. There is no obligation to purchase.
Once you walk through the front door, ignore the door to the right that leads to cubicles and where actual work gets accomplished, and go straight to the back. To the left in the back is a room with padded floors designed for children to play with the trucks, one at a time, for as long as desired, within business hours. It's easy to spend a couple of hours here. A wooden bench spans one end of the play area. On the other side is a small ball pit. Not far away are restrooms as well.
The way the system works is that you pull off the wall right behind the play room a picture of the truck you want to test out, and hand it to the employee manning the room that holds the trucks. He or she will trade you that picture for the actual toy. The wall has pictures of probably about 50 trucks. Most trucks are very large so be sure to have two hands free and to assist little ones in bringing the vehicles back to the play room. There are some house rules for the play area but they are very common sense.
If you are interested in purchasing toys, occasionally there are some available at 40% off - new and unplayed with, just missing the box from having been out and displayed at trade shows. Best time to grab these is on Black Friday each year.
The more-popular models, figures, and accessories are available for purchase here. You can snatch a paper catalog showcasing their entire fleet and purchase online as well. However, prices here are generally 10% cheaper than they are online and you can save on shipping and keep boxing material from the landfill. I was told that there aren't really any discounts or sales online.
Although it isn't weird to do solo "market research" as a grown-ass truck enthusiast, most adults here bring a borrowed kid or are dragged here by their own.
Open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, though sometimes they close early for all-hands team meetings etc, so call ahead.
The employees here are very patient and nice, even if bratty kids keep interrupting them with their never-ending requests. Five stars for this Try Before You Buy place!

My son (3) loves this place as you can test out any of their toys. They also sell toys that were used at trade shows for 25-40% off (just don't have boxes) and have all of their entire line available on the shelf. Well engineered great quality toys that are actually made in Germany or at least the EU. The lady there is super nice and great with kids.

So much fun for parents and kiddos! We went without our kiddo to do some Christmas shopping. We were given a full tour and then plenty of time to ourselves to shop. There is a 10% discount for walk-ins.
