Always a wonderful experience! I have seen many great shows here. Parking and traffic will be bad and congested once you get close so leave out early enough to find a spot or take a cab Ike I do.

We went to see a seminar where John hurt your back spoke about entrepreneurship and his little back story mostly a real estate event trying to get people to go on their seminar and stuff wasn't interested but I did learn a couple of things so definitely looking forward to utilizing that knowledge for 2019 I enjoyed it I was able to see when those exclusive box office seats that normally is very hard and access to have so scratch that off the bucket list are the overall very nice place parking at so bad I can't remember how it looked when I was there when I was a kid but it definitely improved and it is impressive

Beautiful district. Including the Museum of Discovery (for kids), the iMax 3D theater, the boating area and neighboring restaurants, it was a very good experience.

I saw the Chinese-themed play, Shen Yun on the 21st at 2 PM. Very good performance.

Lovely view no matter where you sit. My friend & I enjoyed The Colors of Christmas.
Very nice show to get you in the mood for Christmas if you're in a depressed slump. I hope no one is depressed after the show. It helped me.
I lost my Little Brother 12/09/14.

Thank you Marilyn McCoo, Billy Davis Jr., Rubin Studdard, Pheabo Bryson &Jody Whatley

Beautiful performance venue with a big stage (Au Rene) and a smaller stage (Amaturo). Excellent sight lines, very good acoustics in the large theater and excellent acoustics in the smaller one. Now with a restaurant on site near the river. Overall very lovely setting. My only complaint is parking is very overpriced though convenient.

Went to see Wicked last night. Got the intermezzo lounge tickets for an extra $30 each. The venue is very nice. The valet parking is expensive at $25 but very convenient. The lounge is a nice indoor outdoor space and the people working there are helpful and friendly. Hats off to Carol who works there. She goes above and beyond. The drinks are fine but the food is
horrendous! Salad, rolls and cheese cubes are the only edible items. They actually serve a bowl of cheese whiz. The mini meatballs taste exactly like Spaghetti Ohs! They also have a pile of limp pigs in a blanket and spinakopita. Don t know if the food is brought in or made there but they should consider another source. For such a nice venue, it really makes for a bad experience.
The play was alright. Talented female leads and when singing alone they sound great. When a group sings, either the sound system is bad or controlled poorly because you cannot even make out the words. Sounds very tinny. Someone needs to look into this. Was so bad we left at intermission.

The amphitheater is nice and fairly spacious especially during the UB40 concert but people started standing the entire time and no one from security stopped them. We eventually left and went up front to the stage where everyone had conjugated and it wasn't until it got too hectic that security kicked some people out. It took them way too long to do that and they were clearly picking out specific people to kick out.

As a birthday gift, this was my first time at the mezzanine club level and it was great! Included in the cost of the club level you get valet parking, open bar, food before the show starts, food during intermission, and dessert & coffee after the show. The staff were so friendly & accommodating. This is definitely the way I am seeing shows from now on! And Shen Yun was good. Their dance program, costumes, and CGI were amazing but I could've done without the indoctrination. I'll be back to the Broward Center for sure...at the club level!

We saw Riverdance, so I picked seats in the center balcony. Dance shows are better from above, plays and music from center orchestra. Great acoustics. FOOD in the lobby is excellent, but get it beforehand, because intermission is a zoo. Parking is great in the garage - arrive early to get a good spot. Trying to leave in ANY direction after the show is very difficult and takes a long time.

The theatre is beautiful!!! Love being able to see shows here, seats are pretty comfortable and bathrooms are very clean. Staff and ushers are aleays very nice and helpful.
Concessions are pricey: coffe is good at $2 but sodas and drinks are $6. They have snacks as well. There is a smoking area outside but its nice to go out to defrost right at intermission before the smokers come.
Parking is right next door in the parking garage ($12) but gets full during shows and takes a while to get iut once the shiw is ober especially if you parked in higher levels.

Wonderful theater. Plenty of leg room for a 6'3" viewer like me. Staff were helpful. I paid extra for the club room - it was worth it. No need to stop for dinner before or after the performance. Food was buffet style, very good; open bar with a nice selection of drinks and dessert after the show. Also included valet parking. Nice for a special occasion or with family or friends.

Broward Center for the Performing Arts is at best ...

Broward Center for the Performing Arts is at best a mediocre venue. I have been there twice, and each time it s been an average experience nothing to brag about. Most recently however, I went to see the Porgy and Bess production. Before arriving I was incredibly excited because a family friend was one of the main roles in the opera, and the major local news outlets were reporting on the operas gifted cast members. When I arrived, the will call area had two tellers at the window and it took us quite a while to get our tickets. We finally make it to our seats (first level not far from the stage in the orchestra level) and I was incredibly disappointed. The seats were uncomfortable, the stage design was lackadaisically put together, the microphones were buzzing in and out, it was just a mess. During intermission, we complained about our seats and the rude couple in front of us and the staff members were nice enough to let us move to one of the empty box seats. Once we moved, our experience changed a bit. These seats were comfortable and we were able to see without having to peer between the heads of the people in front of us. A mediocre experience at a mediocre venue.

Valet blocked wheelchair access to building. First wheelchair doors were locked. Made to go long way around building. Customer associates misdirected us three different times to our seats. Finally, manager came to rescue and got us to our seats after missing opening act.

Don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. The ushers are friendly and helpful. A patron that had a little too much to drink and was being completely obnoxious, was escorted from the theatre after management was notified of his transgressions. This makes for a pleasant experience.
