Went to see Hamilton! Such an elegant theater! I felt like a million bucks!
Just saw the King and I. Excellent. There was some excellent voices.
Broward Center Performing Arts was everything I imagined. Great place for nice elegant outing with friends or a special someone. The service was timely and professional. #Hamilton #Girls Trip
Was able to see Hamilton here. Even though my seats were practically in the rafters, the view and sound we're great. The ushers and attendants were very courteous and helpful. The location is right on the water and is very scenic.
Saw Aladdin there last night. The staff is wonderful. Prices are very high for food and drinks so beware.
Fiddler on the roof was great. The issue I had was my no neighbor who took up her seat and half of mine. After waiting years to see the play I was very uncomfortable.
Just saw The Bronx Tale Musical Play and it was great!
Saw 2 shows her Le Miserables and Hamilton. I loved them both.
The Performing Arts Center is beautiful, the seats are very comfortable, you can see from almost every angle in the theater the stage. The only gripe I have is with the price of parking it's $15 flat rate for the night. Could be worse.
Terrific space* however the box office management is terrible.
Long lines at a slow pace delayed start to show.
Very good graduation ceremony for Ft Lauderdale High school.
The theatre is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great programs always, good location. Easy parking. Beautiful auditorium
Great venue for live performances. Acoustics are excellent. Views of the stage are good. Big name performers.
Staff are courteous and efficient. Valet is efficient though reduced rate self parking is across the street and accessible via a bridge from the performance venue.
Many restaurants are available next door and nearby. Enjoy the experience!
This review concerns Saturday, March 18, 2017 only. Here's why they only get 1 star: I usually do valet, which is $25. I am not rich, it's just that my partner is handicapped and cannot walk far. However, valet was closed because of a "special event". The security at the entrance to the driveway let me drop off my partner however. So I want to thank them. They could have been a prick but the guy was understanding and polite. Again, kudos to security. I tried parking at the parking deck across the street but it was full. So was the parking lot next to the deck and another parking lot a block east on Broward Blvd. Tried a third lot and there was a line 20 deep of people waiting to pay at the parking machine. I would never make the play if I had to wait in that line. I finally parked in the parking deck east of the railroad tracks and got to the theatre as the bells were chiming to sit. Now what does this have to do with the Broward Center? I'm pissed at them for not informing us patrons of a special event and timing our arrival if I have to park elsewhere because valet is closed. And luckily as I already stated, security let me drive up to the theater to let my partner off. What if they declined? It's a "mountain" to climb if you are handicapped. And since I'm ranting I'll add that the sound quality at the Amaturo and AuRene theaters are iffy and have gone downhill. Broward Center is getting too comfortable. Fix your sound systems! And you and the city need to get together concerning those parking machines. Why not a flat fee like the deck I used east of the railroad tracks?
Beautiful place...with a great sound and located in a wonderfull location.
We had a great time seeing Miami City Ballet. Valet was a little overwhelmed due to the rain. But otherwise it was a nice evening.
Vent to see ChenYun,or however it's spelled. Long drive and parking is terrible.show was good, actors talented. Show was of Chinese theme, combined with Entertainment, comedy, and a bit of how Communist China was.over all a bitt dissapointed, but still happy.
Joe Bonamassa s concert 2/15/19 was incredible there. We were there on vacation and got tics for hubby s anniversary gift. Excellent show!!! From the cleanliness to the staff to the sound and overall ambience. 10 stars!!
Although this center has a few years on it, it was rehabbed a few years back and is very well maintained.
Saw Phantom of the Opera, show was GREAT but they have to do something about people being late. Late people ruin the experience having the staff walk around with flashlights distracting EVERYONE from the show you spent your hard earned money on.
All the venues in the property are nice and clean. Staff is very pleasant and helpful
Joe Bonamossa rocked..been here about 10 times for different shows and always had a good seat.
The kids lived it.. Parking a nightmare and extremely price for kids event.
It feels like home every time we cater and service an event at Broward Center. A most beautiful backdrop for any momentous occasion, meeting or gathering. It is our pleasure to serve your patrons!
Just caught Anastasia fantastic play love going there to watch a show everybody is super friendly and it was a good time
I went to quite a few shows here and enjoyed every one of them
HAD A WONDERFUL TIME PRAISING God With Shirley Singing
There are three theaters in the center: Au Rene, Amaturo, and Abdo. Au Reme is huge, with two club-seating: JetBlue and .
The JetBlue club seating provides food, wine, and dessert. The food was quite decent, with great service.
Beautiful place all around, good sound. Easy access for disabled people.
The theater is lovely. However, if you sit towards the back of the theater the sound system is pitiful. Grab a free headset so you can hear. Valet parking ($25.00) is available and they usually charge $15.00 to park in the garage which is attached to the theater.
Brought my daughter to see a musical and we both loved the performance. The theatre is beautiful! The atmosphere and staff are so welcoming. I met the sweetest bartender Suzanne at the con-session stand and had an overall great experience. Even parking conscientiously, and safe.
I went for my graduation with Keiser University and it was beautiful however the accommodations for family members to attend the ceremony was set at 4 tickets which was a bit upsetting.
Parking is usually easy. Volunteers are nice. An excellent range of Broadway, concerts and other offerings.
Parking is always difficult: long lines to pay and many spaces blocked off. Getting out of garage also difficult. Plan to arrive early! Otherwise top notch experience.
Went to the Miami Ballet. Had great seats and the ballet was fabulous
For an elegant night out, this is the place to go. Best place to see live performances in South Florida.
I was disappointed in the chairs in the mezzanine. Uncomfortable and too narrow and I'm not a huge woman.
Awesome venue! Fantastic staff most of whom are VOLUNTEERS! My husband and I see at least 8 shows per year at the Broward Center and we absolutely love it. My husband is 6'5" tall and finds the seating extremely comfortable (whether in box seats or otherwise - NEVER a problem!) Other than our own personal opinions regarding production, choreography, etc., never have we had a bad experience here!
Beautiful venue!!!!!! Only thing. If you were to sell food your place would be top notch. Only pretzels. Killing me guys. Step it up. People are willing to pay for some good food. Even a stadium has more to offer. Just a tid bit. Won't stop me from seeing my favorite bands here but we eat before we leave.
Easy access to building from parking garage, but the place looks very outdated inside.
I love this place even though the Valet Service could be alot more timelier
Wonderful setting for a wonderful show! Hamilton was great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Jan 18,2020 was my second event visited at this beautiful venue(first time Jethro Tull and this time Ana Popovic) . Easily accessible due to close proximity to Broward Blvd. and ample choices for public parking. There is a small bar to order drinks if u desire and drinks can be brought to seating. The venue provides great seating for all within. I was fortunate to get 2nd row seats, for Ana Popovic however, that required months in advance purchase. The artist that perform here are excellent...many national and international bands perform. check out the video. hope it post proper.
Very beautiful! You can get good prices on the app GameTime.
This place is very nice and comfortable. This time I valeted my car. We came out just before show finished. We were about 10 in line. Waited 50 minutes for my car. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Will think twice before going back.
It was nice, but the chairs feel pretty narrow & packed in - certainly not comfortable.
Saw Nightmare Before Christmas with live Orchestra. Very good
Beautiful theater. Parking garage attendants weren't very attentive, but really enjoyed my first visit there. Will definitely go back
Beautiful venue but the seats are like airline seats....never narrow and hard
Very nice auditorium. ..personnel numerous and effective ... show of international caliber. .. surprising ease of access. ..in a word ... an experience to renew.
Very nice place! Very small seats and expensive. Please make seats cheaper
Beautiful theatre, fantastic performances. Highly recommended. (Drinks are expensive though)
Love this venue for theater! The seats are designed so everyone has a good view! Many great shows seen here!
Horrible place to get to and get out of. Allow an hour on both ends.
As normal unfortunately, another public venue without enough ladies room spaces.
If all that was not enough, we were escorted to our obstructed view seats. If we knew all this, we never would have come.
Beautiful center very clean and immaculate. May have everything set up for you to have the best experience possible. The seats and balconies are brand new very well of kept. The ushers are very helpful and friendly. It was my very 1st play ever I enjoyed it very much will most definitely be coming back.
