Broward County Bar Association Review

The BCBA is a top notch voluntary Bar Association. I've been involved for many years and have benefited both personally and professionally from my involvement. Braulio Rosa has been the executive Director for the last several years and he's done an amazing job. So dedicated and progressive thinking. The staff are all friendly and exceptionally helpful. Joining the BCBA and becoming involved on committees and as Co-Chair of the Wills, Trusts & Estates Section was one of the best decisions I've made. I highly recommend all lawyers in Broward County join the BCBA. There are so many wonderful events, there's something for everyone!

Shoddy Service, poor referral, extremely poor customer service. They take your money, do not provide service, never answer the phone and lie about refunding your money.

Broward county Bar back in the day had LEGAL Services.WHERE PEOPLE COULD GO FOR HELP IF THEY HAD NO. MONEY.LEGAL AID IS ONLY EDUCATION
AND TO INFORM THE CONSUMER. About what their rights are.I KEEP REPEATING "FLORIDA IS AN EMPLOYER AND LANDLORD STATE.IF YOU DONT HAVE GOOD CREDIT A GOOD JOB.THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.LAWYERS WILL NOT WORK FOR FREE. GOOD LUCK!

Was given a referral to Antonio Hernandez who I spoke with in December or November and he said he would be able to take the cases on for me and he would do a $250 retainer fee until the $500 Broward County bar association fee is paid up. Then I call him today which is March 2nd 2018 and he said he can not do that for me and he has too many cases so he would not be able to handle my little old raggedy $500 case and then hung up on me while he was talking over me how PROFESSIONAL I guess because hes a lawyer and small people don't matter.

If your a lawyer in Broward this will really help educate you and great networking opportunities

Unbelievable experience! Called the Broward Bar Association and the person who answered the phone spoke such badly broken English I hesitate to even call it English. I would suspect that something as important as an attorney referral would be handled professionally from a professional organization. It is plainly obvious the Broward Bar Association lacks that quality.

This is a large bar association. I was told not many events take place during the summer months.

All the staff was wonderful and so willing to help. I would most definitely recommend to others in need.

This county does not care about these ppl at all. They treat them as ppr wk and don't give a rats ass about anyone's innocents. I'm talking from the highest bench all the way down to the paper runners in the office. This is all about the money and nothing about TRUE JUSTICE. The proof is the fact that FL has the HIGHEST PROBLEMS W JAILS because no matter if a person is innocent they throw them in jail anyway. The ppl who do it go home w no thought of how they treat and ruin others lives THAT ARE INNOCENT!!! They don't care or even take into consideration of documents sent to them from other ppl HIGHER IN AUTHORITY that know some of these ppl they throwing in jail like trash that have known them and nothing but good to say about them.They throw it away or add to file w/o even researching it or checking it out WHICH IS THEIR JOB!!!! I hope that HELL has a special place for all of them with no hearts, but god don't like ugly and it will come around to their friends or families and lets see how much they lie to the very same system they work for even UNDER OATH !!!! Guarantee u they LIE IN A HEARTBEAT TO PROTECT THEIR OWN EVEN IF GUILTY. All about themselves no one here cares at all about the system or the people. Sadly makes themselves looks worse then the ppl they judge. TRY TO FIND AN ATTORNEY THAT HAS THE BALLS TO FIGHT FOR THE INNOCENT W/O BEING SCARED OF THE FL SYSTEM IS NOT AN OPTION BC THEY ARE ALL AFRAID OF THE SYSTEM. WHY BE AN ATTORNEY AND SAY U CARE ABOUT THE RIGHTS OF THE INNOCENT IF U CAN'T EVEN FIGHT FOR THEM. WORST ATTORNEYS IN THE WHOLE WORLD SADLY.

Great place for meetings. Refurbished facility is beautiful. Attractive, neat and orderly. Parking is great. So is the location.

The best voluntary bar association in the state of Florida. Tremendous educational and networking opportunities. They work hand in hand with the court system, the judges, clerks and administrators to improve the deliver of legal services to the people of Broward County.

Called for a disability attorney.
They did not have any!
How could a lawyer referral service not have an attorney to reter to?

The people here are great and very helpful. Ha e used their services multiple time and highly recommend them.

I suggest you go to TV or sue for malpractice the BAR because maybe they discover is just a fraud of a work and not hole bunch of dishonest people over there. This is way is ever better you represent yourself in the court than be assisted for a stranger lawyer.
