Used to be a great place..had deals now just a junkie walmart dollar store prices too high

Stopped on a whim. Will most definitely will be comming back. Staff is so friendly.

My daughter had her wedding and dinner here. The food was good, home style; our room was just right; and the service couldn't be beat!!

The food was okay the people are pretty nice the one time that I went down there the food was okay but it was pretty pricey for three chicken legs and some mashed potatoes and a glass of water

Where the locals go for fried chicken! The best fried check around frankly, not to crisp, not too soft, just the right flavor and saltiness. Never overdone. You re served cafeteria style, walk in and up to the counter grab a tray and the folks behind the counter will fill you up. $5 bucks gets two chicken breasts. Good deal and good food!

A style in which a clerk gives a saucer and serves what he likes. It's casual but tastes good.

Excellent food and awesome service! The people here are great and you can tell they care about their customers! Not only is service and food good at the restaurant, but the do an excellent job catering for events. I have experienced both multiple times and I have never been disappointed! Great place for big parties, families, or just a date night. Menu items are great and the buffet is awesome! If you give them a chance I'm sure you will not be disappointed. So head down to maiden and head over to brookwood, you will be glad you did!

Always great, always right. Cleanest restaurant in Catawba county. Whatever they serve is always the best quality, and the best service staff. Even the the decor is smart. All inexpensive mom and pop style restaurants should model after this place. They lead in this category of dining.

Been coming to Brookwood Cafe for years, and have never had something I did not like. I always get my food from the cafe line, and they always have a variety of choices. Staff is always friendly.

Fried Chicken best you'll get in this area. Line changes daily but they always have fried chicken. Also known for their penny browns, if you don't know what they are you need to go find out.

Much like K&W but about 20 times better. Staff is wonderful but simply the BEST fried chicken anywhere. Plus, you can order off the menu. Every time I eat there it's awesome. Consistently great not like other places where it depends on when you go or who's cooking. Basically a hidden Gem, it's a must try. I eat out every day so trust me I don't have praise like this for any restaurant in the country.

The best friend chicken in three counties. The place is always hopping and full but with the serving line you get in and out quickly. We eat there every time we are in Maiden. Great home cooking!!!

Our waitress Trina was excellent. She was very attentive and patient with my elderly parents. Food is always great.

My husband and I love to visit this diner. The location is very close to our home and we love to go eat breakfast there. The servers are attentive and very friendly. The food is amazing. There is nothing like good ole home cooking. And we definitely recommend!!!

Food was delicious but very pricy. Ordered the beef in gravy and mashed potatoes. Very clean and quiet. Would of gave 5 stars if not for the overpricing. Plus they charged an extra 4% if you used a debit or credit card. Thank goodness we had cash.

This place has great food and a comfortable atmosphere. It's a little out of the way, but definitely worth going out of the way for.

Great food, we had the country style steak and it was really really good. Decent prices, but it does add up because sides aren't included in the prices, they are extra, so a $5 meal with 2 or 3 sides is easily $10, plus another $2 for your drink. But all in all, it was very very good tasting food.

The food was wonderful and very plentiful, the staff was very friendly and attentive the, the restaurant was clean and well run, and most important of all for us women the bathroom was attractive, clean and roomy. I will definitely go back and will continue to spread the word about this wonderful place.

We love to go to this place. They have the best fried chicken! At dinner it is cafeteria-style where you go up and pick your food they make your plate. At breakfast it is a sit-down Style. They serve you at your table

I got fried chicken and mac n cheese off of the cafeteria line. Omg it was SO GOOD it was like good down home southern cooking. I also placed an order for a bbq sandwich. It was DELICIOUS. The tea is really good and they have crushed ice. The salads, fresh hot rolls and everything else looked amazing, but I was already full! The people who work there are wonderful!! I loved the atmosphere,music and the place is very modern/clean. I cant wait to go back!

Thinking about using y'all for catering our daughters wedding.

My family and I are currently relocating to the Maiden area, my husband is already living there. He had heard many great things about Brookwood so, this past weekend we decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness, was it delicious, the fried chicken was the best I had ever ate and the home cooked potatoes "Penny Browns" were amazing. Everything was so good, we had to try out the breakfast the next morning, I have never seen such HUGE bisquits (Catheads my husband called them). I am not a breakfast person but, I must say I left nothing behind, I even went home and ate leftovers from the night before for lunch.
If you live close by, are going through the small town, or even coming to give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
One more thing, you will never know what it is like to have a staff wait on you that are so sweet and there to make the restaurant and your experience there pleasant and enjoyable. They are all so kind and truly HAPPY that you are there.

It is one of the best places to eat at me n my wife eat there every week the chicken n penny rounds r great
