You just have to try the fried chicken! Super friendly staff.

A small, local owned, home-cooked food restaurant. It serves semi-Cafeteria style: like a K&W, except the waiter/waitress will always refill your beverage. Brookwood is FAMOUS FOR THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN THE STATE!!! A little better than Paula Deens Restaurant in Tennessee!. No kidding!! Wait staff is super friendly and always helpful when needed, and tries to keep the tables clean as soon as guest leave. Even on very cold days, people line up out the door, to the outside. They also prepare food on the grill, however Sunday is cafeteria style ONLY!! If you have never tried the FRIED CHICKEN, then you MUST one time. : ))

The staff is EXCELLENT, even when I see them being treated rudely by customers. The food is almost always phenomenal, and the times when it is not, the Owner or a manager will work with you to find out how it can be fixed. Definitely worthy of a 5-star review.

The fried chicken here is amazing. Good old fashioned homestyle food for the most part. I eat here regularly and have never been disappointed.

By far the best fried chicken and BBQ. All the sides were just as good. This was my first visit and I've been hearing a lot about it. The owner (Bryan)is very nice. The building is fairly new, extremely clean everywhere. Sanitation grade was very high, at 98. I was pleased and will be back. I will take my employees there when we're in the area, for lunch. Large dining room capacity. They also cater and have a drive through. The prices were very reasonable. Ample parking with wide spaces. Very pleasant staff and atmosphere. Got to give this one a try.
Update: I tried the chicken and dumplings Wednesday, "melt in your mouth good". Now I wake up in the mornings thing about this place.

Their fried chicken breast with rice and brown gravy.... OH MY GOSH! Amazing! delicious greens. orka might be from frozen but their million dollar pie makes the world go round

The food and service here is top notch. Very generous portion sizes.

Delicious food terrific service but they keep it extremely cold in the dining room. I figure this is to keep customers from staying too long.

Home cooking very down-to-earth you gave a buffet line lunch menu or you could order from the grill. Food was great , hot and served in a timely manner. I will definitely be back.

Took neighbor for breakfast and I wasn't really hungry but I ordered what he did. Which was a smoked sausage and cheese omelette and I took one bite and my eyes roll back in my head

I was told about Brookwood Cafe by one of my nephews friends, and everything he told me was true. First thing when I got out of my car I smelt wonderful food aromas. I went inside and got me some fried chicken, mashed potatoes with white gravy and green beans. Wow so yummy. The people are super friendly and the one lady, sorry I forgot your name, is such a sweet heart walking around checking on everybody. Plus not too mention making sure we had enough to drink. I will be back, there's plenty of other choices to eat and I plan on eating them all. Ohhh Yeah and the servings are plenty big

First time here but I like the food and the atmosphere.I will be recommending this to everyone I know.

Great biscuits. Great food. Our service was fast.

Food is always good, thats about it. Lines were long and no one was social distancing. Most tables you could touch the other person. Watriss did not have gloves or masks. Check out person had no gloves or mask on and only one pen in use. Seems no one cared about C19.
We left after observing all this and will not be back until things change at the cafe.

Great place has an amazing dessert and the prices on the food are really good. The waitress are really nice and helped with everything I asked.

Best place to eat in the county! They have the best staff I have ever seen and they are truly glad to be there. Things like that you can't fake! Food is so good it will make you want to slap your Mama! Wife and I eat there a couple of times a week.

This was my first time at Brookwood Cafe and it definitely won't be my last time. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Could not have asked for a better experience than what I had.

It was pretty good for a cafeteria style restaurant. Fried chicken was moist and crisp, although a bit salty. The sides were good. The desserts were good. They were super busy and the tea refills were not very quick. Make sure you take plenty of cash because they charge you 4% for using a card and all those items add up quickly...6 of us added up to over $100 with tip.

Say everything is home made but its all frozen or instantly made business laid out on lies and misinformation breakfast food gets cooked at 4am and sits out all day everything is seasoned with bacon grease and nothing ia ever sanitized

Delishes, great Southern cafateria styled plates. Portions are enough to take some home too.
There was a considerably long line but when the food is worth the wait, that speaks for it's self.

Cafeteria style eating. The fried chicken, okra and mac and cheese was terrific. The employees were very friendly and outgoing.
