Brookwood Grill is my favorite place to eat. It is very warm and cozy. The food is great. Never disappointed. Never pass up an opportunity to check out this restaurant. We live near Dahlonega and it is worth the drive for us.

We sat in the bar for lunch. Aleena (spelling) was the bartender/server and was very knowledgeable and helpful. She did an excellent job taking care of us! We had the bbq shrimp which were absolutely amazing!! I could make a meal of the vodka cream sauce and grit cake with relish. The ribs were great, the citrus salad was great, and did I mention the service was great?! My only complaint would be that the mashed potatoes weren t as hot or flavorful as I d like, but seriously that s not going to stop me from coming back!

Dining at Brookwood Grill was a very good experience once again. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. For starters we ordered the spinach artichoke dip which was awesome. I ordered the rib eye steak which was really good. My only complaint is that is was on the salty side (which is saying alot because I love flavor). But overall a great experience.

4 of us dined there on Sat. March 10. 3 of us ordered the prime rib at 25.95 a person if I recall. The rest of the food, salad, etc. and service were good. However the prime rib was tough and lacking much flavor.

We arrived at the table just before rush hour. 5pm Friday night. We took a table in front of the piano. The menus at our are incrusted with melted cheese. We took the menus of an other table and one of one of them had bbq sauce on it. A few minutes later i go to the bathroom, got into the stall and i discover a dirty toilet with paper towel all over it and an uncleaned bowl while a waiter was doing his hair. 15 minutes later and 3 waiters later that visited the bathroom the stall is still dirty. We took an entree and we left.

Every year my family goes here for special Occassions. Their steak is always amazing. And the sweet potatoes oh my! The have consistently been great at their food. The service can be timely on busy dates and it is a place where snooty locals hang for the piano bar. Also great place for meeting other adults. It s the only restaurant that has survived in the area if that says anything. The interior has an intimate feel. Overall a great place!

[Time & Date of visit] 7:45 pm random weekday night

[Party Size] 3

[Location/Ambiance:]
There was music playing that night from a live band in the bar area. Mostly loud through out the restaurant. It seems bigger on the inside then the outside appears to be. Through out the dining area are very spacious booths. Also pretty dim lit. This place has a "special occasiaon" kind of vibe with out hurting on the pockets too much from the menu prices. Just depends on what you order. The waiting area has a few comfy couches while you can chill, while looking through the menu.

Service:
I timed the wait as we sat in the front area, as the hostess suggested it was going to be around 25 min before a table opens up. I guess the combination of carrying an actual camera bag, while jotting on a note pad and looking over my watch might have been spotted by one of the managers as he was talking to the hostess. We were then seated within 7 mins. Not sure if that gave off a "Food Critic" vibe. Haha, maybe that would have been faster if my roommate didn't dress like a bum.

Assisting the server are various food runners bringing out food and to help clear the tables. They operate like clockwork while passing by each table they attend. The appetizer came promptly within 10 mins after putting in our orders. The kitchen deserves props to keep up with how busy they were, even on just a weekday night!

[Food Highlights]
Salmon hush puppies:
Served on a long rectangle shaped plate, with three types of different sauces running through the plate end to end for dipping. Ginger Soy Cream, Spicy Bistro sauce and Sirracha. I could only visually pin point which was the Sirracha. The exterior was cooked until a crisp, crunchy like exterior that then leads to the moist inner of bits of salmon upon first bite. Definitely not just brimmed with filler, you can taste the salmon bites. The amount was only 5 pieces per serving, so it's not really made for sharing with a big table unless you half them - Ok

Lobster and Smoked Gouda Ravioli:
Wow, I wish the lighting in there was better so I could have taken a way better pic. This thing is crazy good. So crazy that I wish I didn't have to share. (Jk Andrea!) The stuffing of the ravioli is actually separated on which is filled with what. The "striped" ones are filled with a mash/pate of Gouda, while the non striped ravioli are filled with shredded pieces of lobster. Best eatin when dunked with the pasta sauce, maybe even triple or quadruple. - Great

Garlic Jack Grit Cake:
It's slightly dry from being I guess...fried/baked into it's shape. But that's merely on the outer exterior. Slight buttery flavorings with a hint of jack cheese on the back end. I didn't taste much of the garlic, so it must be a lesser flavor. - Good as a side

{Summary}
Don't let the rest of the plaza and surrounding business fool you, this is a hidden gem in plain sight. Though the prices are fair for the quality, it's not made for this network admin to dine at daily. The other dining room where we were seated at is quite big, to fit large parties such as birthdays. The food was great as well as the service. I'm itching to bring more friends here so we can order different dishes to sample from. Definitely worth visiting.

Great food, enormous portions, and our server from South Africa gave us perfect attention and service. We don't live in this part of metro Atlanta, but will certainly dine there again when in the area.

Brookwood Grill is a long-time favorite of ours. Consistently good food quality, great service, professional bartenders, fairly priced. During the pandemic they continue to use the safest restaurant practices and are one of the few places where we will dine in person. I have never been disappointed at Brookwood grill.

Amazing service, food, atmosphere, very well kept and clean and definitely safe in our 'new world' these days. Huge portions, prices pretty hefty but matches the brand and the excellence it comes with, and totally worth it so don't cheap out on this great place! Piano nights, some drink specials, perfect menu with something for everyone!

Food wasn't very good and was very over priced. Not impressed with this place. Chicken tenders were oily and very little taste, and the steak had no flavor. Chicken tenders were $20 and steak was $33 just for reference.

Usually we like this place, the atmosphere is great and the food is good at a reasonable price. However, when my elderly father in law was with us our server Stephanie was not attentive and passed her duties on to the rest of the staff I think all because he coughed once. He coughed away from her turning his head, and in his napkin just for a moment nothing weird. It was very unprofessional and unnecessary. Even the staff was apologetic because we had to go find people to help out twice. We were offended and if we go back will definitely sit in another section. I get we live in crazy times but respectful people that wore masks coming in (you can t when you eat) that are healthy and keep their distance shouldn t be cause for that behavior. My father in law still tipped very generously. So sad.
