If I could give this place a negative rating I would. They almost killed my mother in law 2 years ago by misdiagnosing her 4 times and then refusing to transfer her to a reputable medical facility. They don't allow both parents in for testing on new born infants during COVID , even though there is no way for the mother to be present seeing as we are not allowed to carry the car seats because of the healing from the birth process. The people that work in the reception areas are rude and the doctors seem to have received their degrees from some sort of raffle rather than merit. I would rather die on the way to a different facility than be treated here.

They should train the desk whe you enter what a person needs to get taken care of

Your better off not leaving your home. I brought my boyfriend here in the middle of the night to get looked at in the emergency room. Nobody else was there when we got there besides him. During our visit one other person showed up and left before him. While we were there the nurse and doctor came off like they just wanted to get him out of there as fast as they could even though nobody else was there. They only concentrated on one symptom of the two and then preceded to tell him well you only seemed concerned about the one symptom. We left there because they could not figure out what was wrong and told him everything looked normal. If anything was normal we would have never went, we went there for help but instead they were just trying to get us out as soon as possible. So all we got out of it was a bill. Next time we will just stay home and hope he lives. I will never ever go here again.

Terrible hospital. I was seen there for an eye issue, they were in network for my insurance but they have a 3rd party company internally that is not in network so I was essentially not covered. Tried to do something with them they didn't even talk to me but put me in collections. This is borderline criminal if you have a choice do not go here! They will try and dupe your insurance company, and they will not work with you. Very poor.

I was very disappointed in the care received by my mother. Dr. Barnes in the ER does not look at his patients holistically and does not ensure the patient is able to care for themselves.

I had to have an emergency appendectomy yesterday and was a bit discouraged about coming to the hospital based on the Google reviews, but my care has been absolutely excellent. There were no delays and the staff were beyond fantastic through the whole process! Dr. Covey and Kristen in the ER were amazing and their bedside manner was so reassuring. Dr. Askar did a wonderful job with my surgery. Then the post-op care team including James were all delightful as well. Thank you Brooks Memorial Hospital staff!

I was skeptical driving 45 minutes out to this hospital after reading the reviews but I am so happy I did! Yes, the hospital is not updated at all but the nurses and the doctor were on point! I wish I would of went there the day before because it would of saved me the 12hrs I sat at Buffalo general and was not seen. I registered at 3:15 and was out a little before 6 and that was with needing a CT scan, bloodwork and an iv antibiotic. Everything was on point. When someone entered the waiting room, they were brought back no more than 10 minutes later. I am highly satisfied with the care the nurses and doctors gave and am very happy they listened to my concerns and took the appropriate steps to address my issues. I would definitely return to this hospital.

Out patient is extremely slow. If they communicated they needed something, I could have called a Dr in 2 minutes. Instead we get to wait an hour and a half for blood work because nobody communicated with us. They just stared at us waiting while calling everyone else.
The rest of the hospital has a strong "you're probably leaving here with something worse than you came with" vibe.
If at all possible, go to Buffalo.

Pretty good experience for us. My son had an asthma attack and we took him there at 4 am. He was treated very well was able to get out in an hour and a half.
