Great arena, some of the staff were stingy and uptight
Great place for concerts and basketball games...I love the way is design because the seats go straight up meaning even the seats that are up high give you an excellent view....
Love it but you guy need some parking it is hard to find parking around that place
I took my daughter to see Disney on ice. The place was packed. Customer service was great. My only problem was someone else seem to be in our seats. We were taken to a wheelchair section and given folded chairs. I didnt make a big deal about it because My daughter enjoyed the show, but I was still upset.
The show was good but I couldn't see anything because of the screens. When Joel Osteen was there the screens were so large.
Amazing arena with so much food and beverage choice. The merch on sale is excellent quality. We sat up in the gods but still a fantastic view of the Brooklyn Nets playing. You won't be disappointed!!
Venue itself is cool. Easy to navigate. Pretty too look at and clean. Seats are comfy enough, too.
Food prices are ridiculously high. I've purchased food and just settled with using the water fountsin for my beverage. They need to lower that. The concession stand employees were not very attentive last time I went.
Most of the staff is friendly but if you want a quick pic of yourself or with your family, SOME ushers might give you flack. Most tell you its to time to clear out and let you take a flick or two but I and others have had occasions where they got a little feisty. I've worked in guest relations and that's a no-no, but it's never gotten to the point that I got mad.
I didn't go for a sporting event this time, I was there for the food pantry as I was directly effected by the government shutdown, I thank Barclays and everyone involved for coming to the aid of us federal workers and helping us through that hard time... I thank everyone involved. I've been to the arena for a few concerts, Martin Lawrence and a hockey game... it's a cool arena with lots to do outside and a plethora of restaurants and one of the largest public transportation hubs in NYC right outside... not sure if it is more robust than Jamaica Station but if it isn't its damn close... no complaints about this area or the arena.
Is the shopping malls where you shop and eat great place.
Good sound. Overpriced concessions. Top notch ushers and staff. Very kind and friendly!
Gooood nets! We won opening night. It's a great start to a great season
Seating isn't the best. Just about unsafe if you have to leave your seat. I fell, was caught by people row down. Your pretty high up. So if you need the restroom, hold it, or buy a end seat. The concert Panic! At the Disco was awesome. They did a fantastic job!
It's new and beautiful, but so was msg once. Most seats are good
It is little weird that it usually takes 15 minutes to enter Knicks game at the MSG, and it takes 40 minutes to enter the Barclays Center. Maybe they need to change the method of inspecting tickets, or they need to have more manpower to speed things up.
Nice urban location. Easy to get to and to get around. Fairly interesting architecture.
First time and I had so much fun with my granddaughter.
The outside area is a good scenario from flatbush & Atlantic down to jay st metro tech.. that's a Brooklyn stroll
For basketball the seating was great. Food a bit on the expensive side but it's New York. They are doing lots of work on the outside so not all that Appealing and the inside is pretty dark.
Good but more support during minority events barely staffed
Very clean and enjoyable venue! Great location next to the subway. Easily accessible!
I compared this arena to Madison square garden. My conclusion is this place is 100 times better. Over the years I've gone to plenty concerts in massive square garden. No matter where I sit I always felt like I was far away. Now barclays Is different I feel I have a chance of watching the show.
Great time watching the nets Vs bulls. One thing to note though is that you can't take wide angle lens and DSLR. As they consider it professional gear. Which is annoying as a tourist I am obviously going to be carrying a camera around. But I removed my SD card in case the camera got lost and handed it over to customer relations. Got the camera back in with no issues.
Seats were comfy. Vendors were awesome. Acoustics are awful.
Saw Twenty One Pilots- view of the stage was amazing and the merch areas operated very well with large amounts of people
Went to Ufc 223 and was a great arena, although Conner messed the card up!
Its really a beautiful facility on the inside and very convenient. Great addition to the city.
The staff was great, helpful, courteous, and pleasant.
I dont really like the Barclays play of the seats. You feel like you are going to fall, but this time I had floor seats to see Joel Olsteen
I had a awesome Saturday at the Salsa concert wepaaa ..
Everything was excellent. But price for beer and water ridiculous.
Perfect location! Accessibility is tops! Malls and shopping centers are just nearby!
The actual performance was amazing, but the prices are overpriced and overrated, security took their job too serious, confiscating lighters, but once inside people was smoking marijuana inside the event, I guess it's who you know, some members from the dj, mills was smoking marijuana, how did security seem to have missed that, Barclay's need to reevaluate their staff members
This was my first time attending a concert here. I'm not sure if it's the same size as the garden but it is big inside. It was a full house when I went to see blink 182 and lil Wayne. The food and drinks are costly. My recommendation would be to eat and drink before or have a small snack with you. The seats are comfortable for the time I did sit. Easy to get to this location. I suggest checking it out. I cant wait to go back
I saw the Martin Lawrence Lit tour, it was hella funny & I had an awesome time, I actually traveled here by train from Penn station
Fantastic venue. The building is new and beautiful. Well-laid out facility making for a customer centered experience. Every employee that I encountered was friendly and courteous and helpful and cheerful.
Easy to see from streets, parking, well staffed, well organized, popular among the locals, this is a hip and trendy place for events. Clean up crew is always available for your service. They work none stop, security and Police patrol and I always felt safe and secure. Medical staff in house to care for any medical needs. Definitely visit this location when you are in the Brooklyn area
Went with the family to see Jurassic world and we all love it!!
I have visited this place for concerts, sport games and family events, I just love it!
There's only one elevator that goes the upper level.
Great stadium and home the nets teams!! Clean and fun, security is helpful.
The Nets are a good team and is positioned well with the subway.
Section 217 is the worst because the seats are steep
Nice arena, good choice of food, but far overpriced, $7 for small bottle of water? Are you for real?
Visited off peak and the center only had minimal staff and shops open, but the people that were working were phenomenal
Worst Venue I literary have ever been to! Went to go see Sir Paul McCartney himself here 2 days ago! Drove 500 miles round trip to see the legend. It's not a knock on Paul cause he was doing his thing. I was in a side view seat and had to twist my neck the entire time to try and get a glance of what was going on. Couldn't see anything because the woman next to me was slightly hunched over so I couldn't see the screen or the stage! The venue acoustics were terrible and I could barely hear the music. Than when leaving I couldn't just simply go down an escaltor I had to walk around the entire building than down a flight of steps and out a back door. It's the single worst concert experience I have ever had! I paid $130 to be there and drove 8hrs round trip and it was so bad I left after 20 minutes!
Amazing place to enjoy a NBA game! Nice and organized structure. The picture shows the view from the 231st section. Seems far, but my camera is not that good and the view is actually great.
They are so unorganized here. Even when you buy a vip ticket. But concert was amazing. Depeach mode.
This place is expensive, but it does an amazing job.you can do many things, just don't get like lost: there are many food stations in there. So keep track
WE RECENTLY WENT TO A GREAT CONCERT AT THE BARCLAYS. ALTHOUGH THE VENUE IS HUGE & THE SEATING ITSELF WAS NOT TERRIBLE, I HAVE ONE MAJOR COMPLAINT. SINCE WE GOT LAST MINUTE TICKETS WE SAT IN SECTION 210 ROW 13 CENTER. I HAVE SAT HIGH UP AT MANY VENUES BUT THS TIME IT WAS MUCH DIFFERENT. THE ROWS ARE VERY VERY VERY NARROW. WHEN SOMEONE IS SITTING DOWN, IT IS VERY HARD TO PASS. IT IS NOT ONLY HARD TO PASS BUT IT IS DANGEROUS!! I SERIOUSLY FELT LIKE I WAS WALKING ON A TIGHT ROPE. THERE WERE NO SUPPORT BARS. NOTHING. IT WAS SO BAD, I LITERALLY DID NOT GET OUT OF MY SEAT FOR 4 HOURS NOT EVEN TO USE THE BATHROOM. I WAS TO AFRAID. IF I HAD AN AISLE SEAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT. MY HUSBAND WHO IS IN THE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY PASSED INSPECTION WHEN THEY BUILT THE PLACE. I AM CONVINCED SOMEONE WILL FALL DOWN ONE DAY AND THE DEVELOPER/BUILDER SHOULD BE HELD LIABLE..IT IS A SHAME BECAUSE WE REALLY ENJOYED THE CONCERT BUT WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY ENJOYED IT MORE IF THE ROWS WERE NOT SO DANGEROUS! MY ADVICE TO YOU IS. IF YOU HAVE TO GET SEATS HIGHER UP AT THIS VENUE, GET AN AISLE SEAT OTHERWISE PAY THE EXTRA MONEY FOR LOWER SEATS.
Terrible place to watch a hockey game. Do not recommend it at all. The arena clearly wasn't made for hockey at all.
nice stadium right by the subway. $16 popcorn was too expensive
Watched the Net vs Heats game in January. The center was clean and designed well. Lots of restrooms and food stands. Easy access to and from the venu via the subway. Definately worth a visit even if your favorite team isnt playing.
nice & clean. LET'S GO NETS!!
newest arena in the east coast
I prefer this venue over MSG any day. While the pricing for food and drinks are standard as far as venues go, lower level seating is excellent and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, do yourself a favor and avoid seating in the 200s section. It is scary and perhaps the worst venue I've ever been to for nosebleeds. Pictured is lower level seating for the Sam Smith concert. I will certainly return for the not to be missed experiences but will avoid upper level seating.
Went to see kat williams for the price off the ticket i would think that the seat would hazve been a little comfortable.A man knees were in my back the whole night. They had so much security and dogs I wasnt ready to get high the weed smoke omg then whst topped it a big crowed as the show was going on broke out into a big fight Im like u cant be serious my 25dollor drink and 15 dollor HOT DOG FOWN THE DRAIN.IM LIKE CAN I JUST GET A REFUND ON THE WHOLE THING RUN ME MY 400.00
There's always games and concerts going on and it's spacious and beautiful on the inside. Great center for those who live in Brooklyn or others who want to travel to Brooklyn to see their favorite team or musical artists performing.
Attended Islanders playoff game, had to arrive over an hour early to make game. After game Took 35 minutes just to get to the Atlantic Terminal Station, a 2 block walk because they would not let anyone into Station. Once on the train there were no seats and train left 10 minutes late.
