This is a wonderful bargain-the classes are so good and also very low cost. We've taken French and French film. They are always looking for new classes and accept proposals. Check out their Thursday night speaker's series too.

Was unable to take a class and they're refusing to refund my money, saying it's the "policy." Heartless organization.

Naturally, this prevents students from enrolling in alternative classes offered by other programs. If, for example, you would like to take a language class because you have future travel or study in mind, you should be aware that you make a commitment to them; they make no commitment to you. The individual delivering this news was polite: that accounts for the one star.

Depending on the course and the teacher, the quality of instruction varies. I have had excellent teachers in the Spanish and Art courses. Unfortunately some of my Art teachers have been disappointing. Not because they were not really good artists but because they taught poorly. I would advise checking out the teacher in advance before signing up for a course here.
