It's a nice place with pretty good food at an astonishing price. If your looking to impress someone pick a slightly more expensive and nicer food option but if your just looking for a breakfast that won't break the bank this is an awesome option!

Inexpensive No frills food but good Breakfast or lunch.

I have been eating at Broiler express for the past 17 years. Even during the epidemic, Thier food is of the same quality and still at reasonable prices. I'm quite fond of their breakfast offerings. The breakfast burrito is probably my favorite thing on the menu. It's filed with scrambled egg, sausage, and potatoes. It comes out hot and wrapped in foil for ease of eating. Their burgers and sandwiches are also excellent. They offer a Monte Cristo, which can only be found in 2 places locally. Do not forget about their Greek offerings as well.

Shouldn't take 40 minutes to get breakfast, especially when not overly busy. Can't comment on the food as we canceled our order and left.

This place is good for breakfast and lunch and dinner. It's got everything and its priced reasonably.

Good food with reasonable prices, large space to eat outside in both sides from the restaurant. I felt relaxed and enjoyed the breakfast with hot tea for about $10.00

Good old school diner breakfast spot, and I've been popping into this place for years, it's unchanged with time. Good size portions and good prices. Easy parking on or off Laurel. Here's an idea: Order ahead and get takeout for your office buddies.

I ordered a bacon, mushroom, and Swiss omelet with a side of cottage cheese. I chose this place because I really appreciate the low carb side option. No sense in getting a side of potatoes and just letting them go to waste because I'm not gonna eat them.
The omelet was just OK. It was overcooked. The eggs were a bit dry and no longer nice and fluffy. The big issue I have is that the cheese was NOT swiss. It was white American cheese. The artificiality was really gross. Halfway through, I ended up scraping the cheese off. A few hours later, and my stomach is paying the price.
Kind of a disappointing surprise, but I would honestly try the place again. The price is right, and they are fast and efficient.

This is my favorite dinner. We usually eat here once a week. They make most items fresh when you oder - not much sitting around waiting. They have an amazingly tasty grilled chicken sandwich, and their clam chowder is great. Good gyros, too!

I've been going there since I was a child. Family owned and the food always hits the spot.

Pretty good breakfast place. Their cheeseburgers are alright as well. Had some chili cheese fries once. They were amazing. Always come back here.

We had taken my dog in 2 get her teeth cleaned up the street few weeks ago so we came here 2 "kill" the time & I was surprised at the extensive menu ( not good for me I can NEVER makeup my mind) lol but they got it ALL- American, Greek, Mexican & more!!! prices were good, food was decent & timing was ok cuz we were waiting 2 pick up my girl from dentist & we hit it b4 lunch rush... wanna go back just 2 try different stuff

Always GREAT food here. Friendly staff and clean establishment. I love the chicken breast sandwich and can't resist the fries. This place is a must try for comfort food

My mom and I came here hungry but when we approached the counter the guy was a bit grumpy and didn't seem to care when we apologized for taking so long too long to tell him our order since it was our first time there.my mother and I decided to keep it safe and just order two items and share them. So we went with the soup of the day which was a minestrone and a grilled cheese with veggies. Well on the food game we anticipated it to be much better quality and with flavor unfortunately the minestrone was very low on flavor meaning no salt and there's barely any vegetables nor beans it was mainly broth. And the grilled cheese I have mushy Luke quality cheddar want to be cheese and the vegetables seem like they had been grilled before being placed inside my sandwich. I would never order food from here again. it's unfortunate because my mom and I were washing clothes and this was the closest place we thought about and thought it would be good San Carlos.

This is one of the few sit down places in San Carlos you can go with little ones who aren't on their best behavior. I take my son here and sometimes he loses his mind (he's 16 months old) I really appreciate that he can run around and be a kid, and the people who work here just smile and don't give me that 'control your kid' look. You order in line get a number and then seat yourself. They bring your food to you, it's basic American burgers and breakfast type food.

Breakfast three or four times a month here french toast are the best in my local area, love the food, is a very local place with many local people friendly enviroment need work in decor but breakfast burritos and steak are the best

I had a good experience there, the food was good, keeping up with the places Greek food tradition, the owner was there, he was fun to experience, good location, away from the hub bub to find parking.

This is a diner with a huge menus. Wish I lived in the area. If I did I would be a regular. So many choices.

Ok if you're not picky. My steak sandwich was aweful should have got a burger.

Best dinner in NA, Steak and eggs, hashbrown or fries and coffe for $7.99 , Can't beat that!!!

So I didn't expect to be as impressed with the food I ordered at this little diner but it was pretty amazing what they can do for such inexpensive pricing. Only complaint was the pie wasn't a little warm for the al a mode. It is definitely recommend to check it out and give it a try. Definitely recommend the gyro from this restaurant unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it

Full of surprises in all the best ways. Surprisingly cheap. Surprisingly good food. Surprisingly quick. Just make sure you have cash if you're getting something small as they have a 5$ limit for cards.

Great food for a local staple diner. Order the Huevos con Chorizo (not on menu). It's my go-to. Also their pancakes are first rate!

My go-to breakfast restaurant for the last 20 years, and usually the first place I go eat whenever I return from overseas.

The tables could all use a good wiping (boarder line on disgusting), but minus just one star because a good greasy spoon is not about cleanliness.
