Brilliant display of modern representations of varied types of art. A must see place for tourists. Entry is free. If you reserve online on their website you can avoid standing in a long queue to get inside. Some of the displays are permanent but some keep changing.

The Broad Museum in Downtown Los Angeles has some amazing Contemporary Art pieces. One of my favorites to check out is by Jeff Koons and is called Tulips. You can t miss it because it s a huge display. Try to snag tickets ahead of time because there is usually a wait in the standby line. Also keep an eye out for their rotating exhibits.

The Infinity Mirrors exhibit is obviously stunning. There is a long wait though (about an hr) to get into the museum, and also to make reservations for the exhibit. Wish it were more organized. But it's free so can't complain. On the upper level there is a lot of unique art that I haven't come across in NY.

My partner and I got to go here on my first trip to California just a week ago, love the fact that they do reservations online so you can guarantee like a speed pass for a museum. You have the most efficient way of getting so many people into the space without feeling crowded. They should consider some sort of a staple food truck outside, or build out some sort of a Coffee Spot of their own to bring in Revenue with themed drinks or snacks. like to Gogan green tea.

For all art fans out there, this one is for you. An interesting collection of paintings and artworks. Although drinks and food are not allowed, the front desk service offers a storage for your items.

The museum's architecture is beautiful. I dont think it lives up to the hype behind it though. The wait for the infinity room is ridiculous. The staff in general are pushy and rude. I wanted to go here for years and felt really let down. At least it was free.

The museum was wonderful. The art was amazing! Great for pictures. But I recommend that you don't bring a backpack with you because you will have to wear it in front of you the whole time.
It is free to get in. There is a stand-by line and a line for people who have reserved a spot early. We waited in stand-by for about 20 minutes which wasn't too bad. The museum has it's own twitter page where it updates about how long the wait is approximately going to be. As soon as you walk in, I suggest signing in at the lobby to see the infinity mirror room. Once you've signed in, you can go ahead and browse the rest of museum and it is your turn to to see the infinity mirror room they'll send you a text.

One of the must-visit attractions in Los Angeles. It is highly recommended to book tickets online and go to the scene to wait in line for about 2 hours on weekdays. The gallery has an app to download and listen to the works, and the official also provides free wifi for visitors to use the app to guide.

The broad is the newest addition to Los Angeles contemporary museums. It is a beautiful building with thousand of skylights to let in natural light, the art is always revolving. It is free to the public just get your tickets on line. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeble. Great place to go check out if you are from out of town or a resident who hasn't gone to down town in a while

There were so many beautiful and unique pieces on display. Our favorites were Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami's incredible paintings.

Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room was sold out by 4PM. Luckily for us, one of the employee advised to check back closer to closing time and perhaps there will be some cancellations. We totally lucked out! 45 seconds of awesomeness.

Tip: reserve in advance and be sure to arrive early if you want to check out the Infinity Room.

This was an amazing museum!! The exhibits are well thought out and engaging. The staff were super informative, friendly, and downright nice. The museum is freeeeeee!!!!Parking in the garage downstairs can be validated and is only $15 for three hours. Have fun!

Definitely a cool museum for modern art.

Definitely a cool museum for modern art.

Made a reservation a week in advance, very easy to get if you come on a weekday. Weekends are impossible. We showed them our tickets and got in right away. The museum is composed of 3 levels; 2nd level is only the administrative offices and storage, so nothing to see. First floor was closed he day we visited so the only exhibition was on the 3rd floor.

The artwork was very cool and interesting. Lots of cool and creative sculptures and paintings. It took us an hour to go through the 3rd floor. The coolest thing was the infinity room with lights, you have to register to get into the queue for that room because it's very small and only 2 people can go into it at a time. The wait was 80min for us on a weekday, I'm sure it's longer on a weekend.

Wish there was more stuff to see. Parking is $4/hour, very steep. Even street parking is the same price and there is a 2 hour limit, so plan accordingly.

Great museum. Good mix of things to interest kids and adults. Free admission. Long lines most of the time. Would recommend reserving a ticket before going, free on the site. This will give u a window to visit and skip the line. There is a mirror maze exhibition that we didn't get to see because you have to reserve and wait 5 hours go. Unfortunate.

I went to the art walk as a requirement for my philosophy class and I really enjoyed it. There is a nice variety of street art as well as 3 art exhibits in the area so that was very nice. The food was wonderful. There was a variety of food trucks so my friend and I just got a little taste of everything. The atmosphere was great. I will definitely be back.

Free to get in and they allowed (non-flash) pictures. Some exhibits required a reservation to be made prior to arriving (which was somewhat frustrating for our group coming from out of town).

The Broad has always been a good place for a lesson in Mid Century - Contemporary Art 101, but one of the biggest issues I have with Broad's collection is that he has a smattering of famous pieces of all the textbook artists, but Broad seems to miss a certain insight into many of the artists. He has a great collection of Cindy Shermans, but lacks in understanding many of the other artists. Artists work in a series and good collectors buy up a series and are fans of a period in an artist's life. Broad has influenced rich folks that it's cool to spend on contemporary art and that's a good thing, but it will be many more years before the LA rich educate themselves on contemporary art like they understand wine.

Wow. Filler and Scofidio outdid themselves on this project. The wonderful blend of the veil and the vault creates a dynamic sanctuary in the city. The art is always quality and the exhibits are intriguing and constantly changing from their private collection.

A nice way to spend an early evening strolling through the Broad. Be sure to add and utilize the Broad App. It's easy to use. I was able to find same day tickets at the very minute. The staff at the museum are super helpful and offered lots of tips.

One of the best treasures of Los Angeles. Perfect place to bring visitors but I love visiting solo. Book ahead. The parking is responsible in their lot. It's truly a gift as this experience is free to the public.

A place with modern art! It has good parking structure and charge 15$ for about 3 hours. And the queue is really long!!. There is a way to book tickets (which is free) and there is a queue even for people who came with reservation. So get prepared to stand in the queue for long time. Entry in the museum is free and it is a Instagramable spot

Really nice art museum with a wide selection. Interior design/architecture is captivating, featuring smooth gray concrete ceiling, glass walls on the first floor, and much more. The line is a little bit long, though. So depending on how you are planning to get in, maybe make reservations ahead of time.
