Loved it. I liked that most of the works we're modern and there was plenty of space to move around and that it's free.

Absolutely fantastic. Was surprised by the caliber of the pieces (didn't do my homework beforehand). I was also lucky to catch the Visitors exhibit which was the highlight of my LA trip.
The mirror rooms are the only highlight of the place.
Very few exhibits.. Best part was.. Under the table.. Infinity rooms.. Had to wait for 30-45 mins for just 45 secs entry.. Wish it was for long!
Fantastic contemporary art museum that is free to the public. Reserve tickets. I enjoyed the 3rd lebel the most and Yayoi Kusama.
Underwhelming art for the time it takes to get in. We spent 2 hours in line to only spend an hour there. Pass for any real art lovers.
Its a great museum. Perhaps I would rate them higher if they open earlier and a little bit longer. Its hard to get a ticket entry if you're doing walk-ins. Once inside the museum there is this yayoi kusama show that's another hell of a line and I've heard before you have 60seconds inside that show but when I was there the timer was only 15seconds. Its worth the trip but you have to be there the whole day.
What I liked was that unlike many other modern art museums, I could actually see and understand the ideas and concepts behind the artworks displayed at the Broad. Most of the pieces displayed give even a layman viewer a sense of the talent and work put into them.
Its a very unique museum. Best part being it's free. A lot of different artists have their work displayed, i personally like robert therrien's under the table and yayoi kusama's infinity mirrors installation. The infinity mirrors installation i guess changes every day, also you need to prebook it, which you can do in the museum itself, and when it's your chance, they send you a text message. You are allowed only 35 seconds to take a picture inside, but it's worth it.
Nice place to visit.. Parking just too expensive.. 22$
Yep ! Broad done !!! It s , I think the best modern art museum in L.A...! But L.A is so poor on art places... so... it s free ! So that ok, if you have to pay for a 30-45mn visit, it will be expensive... anyway if you are around, you should go there WITH PRE-ORDER tickets (free), or you will have to wait for about 45mn to go inside... like us !!!
This is one of the best places to go if you love cultural enrichment and the arts.
A must go place in LA! Eli Broad donated 4 trillion won! But free viewing! 200 billion works and photos can be taken!
This Is America
The art here is interesting however if you plan on just showing up don't you have acquire tickets which are free of charge once you have them you have to wait for the date your given. They also have a light show display that they make you wait for which is ridiculous because you already wait so long to get into the museum! It was a very cool experience but a bit over the top with all the red tape they have at this place
It's nice compared to the getty, but there are some artworks that are interesting enough for those who don't like art! There is a line even if you make a reservation. If you like this, getty is also recommended ..!
The narration of the exhibition feels like done by a high school student. The museum in itself is not very big. If waiting for the infinity piece there is no cafeteria and the rest of the museum doesn't take that long to see. Expensive parking. If nothing else to do a nice experience but all in all overhyped.
The work here is large. You're really immersed in the art. The 1st time going, the line was long to the main infinity room. Most of the other rooms are small & the lines are short. I've been twice now & look forward a visit soon
The Broad Museum in Los Angeles offers an interesting collection of contemporary arts in varies fields such as painting, photography, sculpturing etc. on different levels. That means you can encounter quite a vast variety of diverse artwork here. Also there is an extra temporary exhibition that's sometimes restricted, so check that out in advance. When I was there, I had the chance of stepping into Yayoi Kusama's infinity mirrors. An outstanding and almost overwhelming experience, we've almost missed as the posts there were limited.
If you're looking for classic paintings, you're wrong here. If you're looking for hyper modern art, this is the place in Los Angeles!
I m not a fan of modern art, but there were few interesting things in the museum.
The fact that it s FREE makes it acceptable to visit, if it had a paid entrance I wouldn t recommended it.
The lights room exhibition which you need to sign for way in advance or face a long line is cool, but no more than that. You will spend maximum of 2 minutes on the clock inside and than will be asked out.
Parking is $15 in there underground garage.
One of the best museums in Los Angeles. Artworks are better in person obviously but they have a vast collection. A must see if you're visiting L.A.
Amazing museum, worth the visit. Plus there is Otium a great restaurant/bar next door!
Get free tix early or wait.
The line on a Sunday at noon Was about 20 minutes. Give yourself between one hour and hour and a half to make it through all of the art unless you re a real linger. Totally totally worth it.
Good exhibition-museum. Convenient location. There is a free and paid room. Everything is fine with the organization. A ticket must be taken in advance for a specific date and time.
Love that this place is FREE! All you gotta do is wait on front, for entrance. There are some shows or exhibits that require reservation or paid tickets but for the most part you get to see everything with not a single penny spent. Everything here is clean and well taken care of, they have an app to tour you around as well as employees there's to answer questions or assist you. A lot of the art is colorful and mesmerizing to look at, while others are the typical two tone colors on a canvas. Regardless coming here is a real treat for anyone in my opinion.
very beautiful modern museum in the heart of Los Angeles, free after registration online. He is successful, well deserved
Great museum, bright space, great architectural style, daylighting ceiling relaxes all day. Tickets are free, but you don't need to line up at the door to make an online reservation in advance. It is recommended to make an appointment two weeks in advance.
Amazing museum!! Love that admission is timed so it s not overcrowded. Mirror rooms are awesome. Definitely go!!!
Great space they've created here. Fun unexpected features like a window into the archival storage room in the stairway. Simple and easy to enter with prepaid tickets for Jasper Johns. Had to start there, couldn't enter museum earlier than exhibit tickets, but had the rest of the evening to explore the rest of the collection. We were there 2.5 hrs total, didn't rush feel that we saw everything. LOVED the Audio App! What a great free bonus! Does eat up at lot of battery life though so come fully charged.
Best experience I ever had in a Art Museum. The Infinity room was amazing and the art work is always placed correctly. The staff is amazing and friendly.
Lovely collection of modern, post-modern, and contemporary art. Free general admission, but tickets must be reserved on the first day of the previous month for the best chance to get in on your preferred day.
Long wait, for nothing. The staff are very cold and the art is pretty bad. Good your strange modern art lover
Cool, free contemporary art museum. Not so cool line to get in. I think a lot of the line was just because of the infinity room though.
A great example of modern contemporary art. Great architecture. Small but impactful. Some display choices could be merited however overall solid. Free admission for great pieces of art. That's pretty good in my book. Just make sure to book tickets in advance.
Interesting museum. Make sure to get tickets in advance. Can leave and come back for the special show.
Collections here NEVER let you down! Installations are creative. Come early (right before opening) to get in quick, or wait in line standing right in the sunlight. They thoughtfully will offer umbrellas for this and let people in to use the restroom. Very accommodating to those waiting. Admission is free and worth the wait. Better than the Getty IMO.
Beautiful art inside, as well as AMAZING architecture outside. Probably could finish looking at the entire displays in an hour, since the museum is actually not that big. Overall, would come again. However, judging from the numerous instagram posts I see of The Broad i can tell they don't exhibit new displays very often. just saying
I love this museum. It s free of charge now and if you want to see the new special exhibits be sure to get your tickets early online. Parking is kind of a problem but they have a garage attached if you don t mind paying. Breastfeeding moms they got you covered, you are aloud to be escorted upstairs to a private room.
GO TO THE BEACH INSTEAD. Lol man this place is wack and wayyyy overrated. Waited 2 hours to not see the Infinity room. Why the fk do you have to make reservations? An FYI would be great. Busy and not even worth the wait. Do something else in LA. It's subpar. Look at photos on instagram.
Among artwork! Couldn't get into the Yayoi Kusama exhibit as it was too busy so make sure you have time to wait around just in case
Has some of my favorite work! And the architecture is incredible!
Phenomenal, simple, beautiful, free, space, easy to park ....
In short I'm not a fan of modern art with paintings where you put years to understand the idea or to take pleasure.
At the broad I laughed, I had fun, I even tested stuff, a super nice time
If you want to spend a good time alone, with family or friends ....... go for it and book on the internet! I love
Worth a visit for modern art. Friendly staff. Go online sign in for free tickets. So no waiting in que. Parking $17 w/ validation.
One of the best sights to visit in downtown LA. Contemporary art museum with some of the biggest name artist features.
Interesting exhibits, fun place for kids and adults.
Modern art is very interpretive. My interpretation is that it's all very pretentious.
This is such a cool space for modern art. The building is a stark white cube in the middle of downtown, but the interior lobby is all curves and a mixture of materials without many straight edges that reminds me of being inside an ant gallery--but not gross. They have a very cool permanent collection of modern art and a large space for their temporary collections. I feel The Broad has art that would interest almost anyone of any age and it is small enough that you can walk the entire building in less than a couple of hours. We went on a Saturday and had no problem with parking, which we found across the street for $10.
Free relatively new museum in LA. Always interesting. If you are not a outside queue fan, I would suggest to reserve tickets in advance
Eclectic collection of modern art. The building is as much art as anything else. I highly recommend walking around the building on the outside and from across the street. It is quite an amazing piece of architecture.
didn't meet my expectations at all. waited in line outside for 2 hours for a very small selection of works. employees weren't the friendliest either. very disappointed with availability for the infinity light room. was looking forward to that one the most and wasn't even able to experience it. LACMA is much more worth the money.
It is free and you need to make a reservation to get the ticket. The place is huge and they have guides everywhere. Undoubtedly one of the best museums in California, always changing exhibitions so it is advisable to see the schedule before visiting.
This was my first time visiting that awesome place!

Great space and exciting edition to LA's art scene. I look forward to their future shows.
Great place to spend time looking at arts. Parking is located under the building and the cost of parking is $15 for 3 hour with valadation. It is advice to preorder the tickets to get in. Since preordering the tickets dont cost you any money and would save you from the lines that could be sometimes as long as lines you see on black Friday check out lines. By preordering the ticket you pretty much walking straight away compare to people in line which could be an hr wait or more. The famous attraction the infinity room is also something that requires planning as space to go see this attraction fills up very fast. You will have to pretty much get in and reserve your spot within an hr or two after opening opens. When it fills up there is a stand by line which also would take hours and might not even get to see the famous infinity room.
Get your tickets online ... So much easier as you just walk on in. We parking meters are nearby if you can find one. The art was great. Only one exhibit that I found completely distasteful and unsure as to why it was even presented (why it got 4 stars...that and parking). Take a camera and enjoy. DO NOT TOUCH anything!!!!
One of my favorite museums in LA. We had tickets for 11am but arrived at 10am and lined up in the standby line. We were first in standby so we were able to get in and immediately registered for the Infinity Room. Because the museum just opened, we had a short wait and we're notified by text when to head down. What is nice is how they control the entries so the place is never packed. All pieces were intriguing. Lots of space to roam and not feel crowded when viewing each piece.
The best part requires a second registration once you are in the museum, but they don't tell you that.
It was a little disorganized. I was very disappointed with thefact that despite doing RSVP for the general admission for the musuem, that it did not give us the opportunity to see the Kusama exhibit. The best method would have been similar to the ICA in Boston where they charged for the exhibit and made the tickets available online. Other than that, there was plenty to see especially the Basquiat pieces
It was free. No line for us who booked a day in advance. It s small & Modern. Great 1.5 hrs spent in downtown.
Great museum, only downfall is that it is free entry which means there's always a wait to get in
