Amazing architecture and professionally organized and run museum. The entrance through the escalator feels like you are entering a "new experience tunnel".

I was at the Cindy Sherman exhibit and it was beautiful.

I can't believe I've never been here before! This was such a cool art museum. Be sure to reserve your tickets online a head of time (it's free) because if you don't, your will probably wait for about 45 minutes - it's still worth it though.

Right in the heart of DTLA. It s free admission, must reserve ahead of time as they fill up fast. You can spend easy two hours there to see all the art and special exhibits. Immediately sign up for the Infinity Room, a MUST SEE exhibit, as you enter the museum.

So much great art and free admission if you wait in line. We went mid-week so was very easy to get into. I also love that they allow you to photograph the art. I would highly recommend a visit when in DTLA!

Someone described the Broad Museum of Modern Art like a Cylon Mothership landed in the middle of Los Angeles downtown. The architecture is incredible. The art is Iconic. You will see pieces of art that you have seen in magazines or on television but never in real life because they were part of a private collection. I urge you to go early if you don't have tickets and if you do get tickets get them for the 1st time available during the day. I say this because the minute you get in run and ask where the Infinity Room is. Basically this is the room where you get the stand hands are surrounded by incredible lights. You get about 45 seconds if you go in alone and about a minute if you're with somebody else.

Discovery of Downtown LA and Broad, the Museum of Contemporary Art. An architecture just as amazing as its collections. A must see, both for the place and for the works presented. And, rare in LA, the permanent collection is free!

Went for the architecture which was a treat. Can't get excited about alot of the art but do appreciate how the lighting (natural and artificial) accentuated the mood and staging of the art pieces.

This was a fun time. We went for the lights (not sure of the name) it was neat. My 16 yr old son enjoyed it. They didn't have a time slot available for us when we arrived but they were so nice to fit us in since it was his 16th bday and we traveled from OH to come see it. The actual structure of the building is AMAZING

I took this picture during my second visit to The Broad. It seems as if most installations stay the same, but they have taken some pieces away & added others. Make sure to book your tickets in advance so you don t wait in line the day of.

Make sure you make a reservation so you aren't waiting on standby to enter. The customer service agents are helpful and friendly. If you want to see the infinity mirror exhibit, choose the earliest reservation time to get into the museum; once you get in you must sign up to get into a queue to see the exhibit. Then you can leave the museum and check out the Disney music Hall or grab breakfast. You'll get a text once your turn is within 10 minutes. The rest of the museum takes about an hour to go thru.
To give an idea, I had a 10:30 reservation on a sunday, and I signed up as soon as I got into the building. I had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes until it was my turn to go into the exhibit. Around noon, people were coming in to sign up to go into the mirror exhibit and the wait was 5 hours!!! Crazy!
Infinity mirror is pretty neat to see, you get 45 seconds inside by yourself or with another person. If you've ever been to the San Francisco pier, there's a mirror maze you can go through and it's kinda like that.

Lovely art and work of architecture. Free entrance and you can get your ticket online in under 3 minutes if u access their webpage. With the QR code I didn't have to wait any line. I would definitely recommend it if u are visiting LA or you are interested on modern art.

The artwork is definitely worth seeing, that was really worth my time once I found the popular pieces. However, I feel like the staff could assist in explaining what is in each room- just approaching people and asking if they would like any help. All I saw them doing was asking the patrons not to get too close to the artwork, but other than that just sat at their stations. The venue itself also needed some "flow".

There is no quality like this for free viewing of contemporary art in LA. However, if you do not make a reservation for the mirror room, you have to wait for three and a half hours.. I just waited for an hour as of 11:00, but it is worth it.

Great visit - was disappointed that we could not see the infinity room because the wait list to see the infinity room was over 5.5 hours when we put our names on the wait list as soon as we got there around 1 PM

What a great space. Well organized and convenient parking. Seamless entry process and the art is just simply magnificent. Pity that some artists weren't on display at the time of my visit, but that is just an incentive to come back again. If you are in LA, it is a must see stop. Best of all, it's free entry. Simply love this place.

Visiting The Broad was one of the highlights of my recent LA trip. The few hours there were really well spent. A contemporary art museum set in Downton LA is a treat for the visitors. Would recommend reserving ahead as often the free of cost access attracts long queues. The building which houses it is an architectural marvel too. All in all, a must see.

Great museum! It reflects the trends of contemporary art. The building itself, the entrance, the elevator, all with the idea, creatively. Convenient booking of tickets for visiting, there is a paid large underground parking.

The Broad was an interesting museum with a fantastic special exhibit by Shirin Nashat, Yayoi Kusama s Infinity Mirrored Room, and much more! I was so confused at first as to why we kept missing the 2nd floor, but then after reading how the museum was built, it made so much sense and made the place even nearer!

A must visit in LA.

Book tickets way in advance, and show up early to sign up for the infinity room.

Stunning collection of large scale contemporary art. Lots of famous peices that are well known in pop culture as well as beautiful and relavent lesser known ones. The special exhibitions they have seem super cool and the shop has lots of good art books.

Nice place but it's not really worth the hype! They had really cute exhibits and the art was amazing. If your an art fanatic it'll be worth it. It was cool to try and analyze the pieces. The pieces where cute and if you want some Instagram worthy pictures this is your place to be.
