went there in 1978 from baor with 3 RRF then Berlin and then I went to Catterick not quite the same

My Regiment, Tenth Princess Mary's Own Gurkha Rifles, were on a month long exercise named Exercise Pond Jump West in July 1984.
The exercise was a success, and our time in Wainwright was very enjoyable. We were able to visit beautiful places mainly in Calgary.
I wish I could revisit those places before departing from this world!

on 6 month tour in 84 met a load of great people great memories

Did 5 or 6 Medman tours from BAOR, loved each one because it was as hard as it got for the duration of the prairie time.
Never got a taste for the Labatts though. Shout out to the lads who crewed the 434,s with me.
