We were at site 232 in Brimley State Park. An access point at the back of our site led directly to the glorious shores of Lake Superior, a short walk of 200 ft. It was great to catch sunrise with that kind of a view!

The sites were pretty close to each other. The amenities (showers and toilets) were decent.

Brimley State Park was lovely - the campsites were well maintained and very large (biggest camp site we've ever had!). There were also multiple access points to the beach for swimming, which was great for the kids. There was a gas station nearby, which was handy, and Sault St Marie was only about 15 mins away, for those things you inevitably forget when on a camping trip.

I think this now becomes my favorite State Park. I hesitate to say that as I always want to be able to get in for a camping spot. Beautiful beach walks every day and an easy drive to Whitefish Point or Sault St Marie for an excursion

Awesome park!! Kinda crowded but had a lot to do there for kids and adults. We had spot 195 and it was amazing...right on the water. There was a big storm when we were there and some spots were flooded. We did archery for free as well. Very big park but by the water was still pretty quiet. Great location and camp site.

A little cold this time of year for tent camping. However, the facilities are clean. There's dry wood for sale all around and shopping is not far. There's a family dollar about 5 minutes away. A small grocery store right outside the campground and a meijer 15 minutes out. The park is right on the water and it is beautiful as far as scenery is concerned. Highly recommend for a summer vacation spot.

This was our first trip to Brimley for the long Labor Day holiday weekend. Luckily we got the last available site for our four day stay. The site for our small camper was perfect, we weren't far from the water from our site and there are multiple access points. The kids could play on the playground within viewing of site 135. Every morning I'd have coffee on the beach and watch lake freighters coming or going into Sault St. Marie. We did day trips to Whitefish Point, Thaquenemon Falls and the locks at the Soo. All in all a great family trip. Sites only have electricity. The camp was very quiet when we were there. No late night drinking parties. The bathrooms were older, but fine and I appreciated the individual showers in the one bath house. There are some low spots around the west end of camp that had standing water or mudd.

A beautiful campground settled into the trees with wide and level lots, clean washrooms, and friendly staff. Take a walk in the forest around the sites and check out the birches and stream. A nice picnic area and little beach too.
Oh, and make sure to get your firewood and groceries in town before getting to the campground and ask for directions to get your water. It's not available at every site. But we absolutely loved our time there with family and pets and will definitely return.

We camped here for a night, and it was beautiful. We had a small site on the edge of the campground, and it had a path off the back of it which led right to the beach. The beach is long and gorgeous! We walked up and down it at sunset. There is also a playground and hiking paths. The bathroom and shower facilities are good.
