They take your deposit money and lie about loan approvals rip you off on car prices. They wont refund your deposit back even though they told you lies about loan approvals.
Don t trust the guys there.

Yet another rubbish experience here. Firstly, you can never get through, no one in the service department ever answers the phone. Thought I would give them another go - but I'm done. Have to go back again on Monday because they have left a dash board panel incorrect - after replacing an air bag...AGAIN. Lies on the service report (caught out for a second time!). I will find an honest mechanic that doesn't charge this much. Bye Nissan.

Had my Car in for its first service that I bought from these guys and could not be happier. The customer service was great, the service team were friendly and super professional. They provided me with a (Clean) loan vehicle, massive tick there. Upon returning to the dealership, after they called me to notify me that it was ready, they had my car ready parked at the front (cleaned inside and out). The bill was explained in depth, had a coffee and proceeded on with my day. Massive thank you to the team. You guys STILL ROCK. *****

I have been here twice now!

I have been here twice now!
once got through to the finance deal but tried to tell me that I don't get to approve the finance deal if approved.
I wanted to know the fees and interest before accepting the finance or enquiring elsewhere.

This time walked in ready to buy as I have my banks finamce ready to go, but after nearly 10 mins hanging around the inside, not one person approached.

I am going to another Nissan dealer where I feel maybe they want me business without the hassel of being treated like I am dumb or don't matter

Picked up my XTrail TI AWD today with my boys and was impressed with the way it was presented to us. I couldn't tell if it was ours because it was covered with a black cloth like a gift - that was awesome. Luky was very good from day one and I thank him very much. I'm hoping my good experience will continue. Please Nissan Brighton do not disappoint me when I bring my car for service.

Service dept refused point blank to honour any war...

Service dept refused point blank to honour any warranty claims. Had to go to head office to get car fixed under warranty. I will NEVER set foot inside Brighton Nissan, and as you can see, I'm not frightened about telling anyone about my experience. EG: Navara dropped into "limp home mode" in the middle of me doing a right hand turn. Thankfully, car coming towards me stopped in time. Service dept 's answer?"Oh, if it happens again, just bring it in and we'll take a look". My Answer: "If it happens again, I may be dead!" Deathly silence from service.

Then had issues like rear door rotated in fitment, rubber floor mats cut too short.. "Oh we wont fix that, it's within Nissans Specifications". Funny how when Nissen head office saw it they arranged to have the problems sorted straight away.. Stay clear of Brighton Nissan, or at least their "service hahaha" dept.

Please don't use Brighton Nissan!

Having bought my Patrol from Ferntree Gully Nissan (who are excellent by the way), I opted take my car to Brighton Nissan for what should have been a routine 10 000km/12 month service.

A little while after collecting the car I noticed the rear number plate was not straight. Upon further investigation I realised they had swapped out the number plate surrounds that had Ferntree Gully Nissan branding with their own. This in itself is a disgraceful act bordering on misleading and deceptive conduct, as the car was not purchased from them.

To make matters worse, I have an extra camera fitted to the number plate, to which they caused some damage when changing the surrounds (pinched the wire to the camera and pulled out sealant where the wire enters the car).

It is very disappointing that for the sake of some cheap advertising they chose to meddle with something that should not have been touched!

They did offer to fix the damage, but I opted to have this repaired myself, as given how inept they are (besides the damage caused they couldn't even refit the plate straight) I would not let them near my car. The damage was easy enough to repair, it's the fact that they undertook to perform such an underhand act that riles me!

Although this may seem like a minor, insignificant act, it speaks volumes about their morals and ethics, and personally I would run a mile before doing business with them, and so should you!

I was struggling to get my first Nissan car as I felt that the sales people from different dealers were just trying to push their target numbers up. But I was lucky to meet Jimmy Noulas from Brighton Nissan. Jimmy did a terrific job, helped me pick the right car, got me the best discounts which was way lower than other few dealers I worked with. Jimmy was honest and was very assertive too, when I started laying too many expectations. I had the best seamless experience buying a car (X-Trail STL) from Nissan Brighton and especially being managed by Jimmy. He made it possible in a very short period of time too. Will refer Jimmy any day .....

Worst after service. Had several issues with my mi...

Worst after service. Had several issues with my micra speaker and I was told that it was changed during the previous service and the issue appeared again within few weeks. Once I left the car for next service and reported the speaker issue again. While i was waiting in the next room I overheard the mechanic speaking to service manager that the speaker needs to be replaced. When the manager asked the service guy about the changes that he did last time he mentioned that it was just a wiring fix he did. I was told a different thing. Managed then changed and new management blamed it on the previous management. I ran out of warranty. eventually sold the car and moved away from nissan.

It says it all when the contact page to Nissan Australia only lets you comment with 255 characters or less. If the problem was that brief then it wouldn't be a problem!. so who really cares.

You often send me requests to provide feedback on my experience with your company. On a couple of occasions I have replied usually in a somewhat positive manner and anonymously, however in most cases I have declined as I am of the firm opinion that I would much rather provide positive feedback rather than be just another of the supposed thousands who continually express their often minor complaints.
Just a quick note to let you know of my current situation, I am about to finally update my vehicle (a 2007 Nissan X-Trail) which for the most part has been a wonderfully reliable and economical (for it s size and purpose) vehicle. The only negatives that I have really experienced have been with after sales and service requirements. And even then it has been more about how I am treated not the vehicle itself. Which brings me to my purpose for writing to you now.
As of this afternoon I have taken all Nissan products off my list thanks to my severe lack of confidence in your after sales service.
The last service I had done on my car was so much of a shambles, I thought that it must have been a one off- benefit of the doubt etc. When the service rep contacted me to explain all of the extra work that was required, especially to fix the concerns that I had re noises etc, I was informed that a major overhaul of my automatic gearbox was required. After several minutes of ensuring that the representative was in fact dealing with the correct service sheet, I informed him that my car was in fact a manual gearbox and as such I questioned whether or not I was in fact paying for any service on someone else s, or my vehicle and was anything actually done to my vehicle at all. After a letter of concern (complaint?) i received a phone call from Nissan Aust. to follow up on how happy was I with my service experience.???? Was anybody actually listening?.
My vehicle has done 185,000km and when I dropped the vehicle off this morning for it s service (booked in last week) I find that the dealership is in new ownership as of yesterday (Brighton Nissan) and that my car had been booked in for it s 10,000km service, and that all past records of my service history etc. had been deleted from their computers. ?
I have concerns about wheel bearing noise and the mechanic even drove me to the station (to catch a train to the city where I work) so he could listen to the noises. Thank you for that, that is good service. After several missed phone calls and my replies with more appropriate phone numbers for the day (which were given again at the time of reply because obviously all my records had been deleted) I am informed of more work ($1300.00) to be carried out on the front end of the vehicle. No mention of the wheel bearing issue, until I enquired, which resulted in yet another phone call to ascertain that the vehicle was in fact still on the hoist and that the problem was being looked into. Yet another phone call from the service centre (on the wrong number) to inform me that they are not in position of the appropriate spare parts and could they keep the vehicle for another day. Definitely not possible on such short notice. I only have the one vehicle and I live a distance from public transport. A very messy experience which once again has done nothing to re-instate my confidence that I am being looked after, or in fact that anyone at Nissan actually cares.

Sorry to say, but I am no longer a Nissan fan. Not that it will bother anyone, I am but 1 person.

I was pleasantly surprised by the multiple follow ups from management to determine if I was happy with my first-time service.
Cars and car servicing are such competitive, homogeneous categories these days (over 60 auto brands in Australia vs less than 40 brands in the US) - hence the one percenters are so important in generating customer loyalty and differentiating your brand.
Service, to me, is a window into what the overall brand is like - and this has left me with a great impression of Nissan.
As a contrast, the arrogant, dismissive, sexist attitude of the staff toward my wife at Jefferson Ford in Mentone (for our other vehicle) has led me to feel very anti-Ford.

Its always a smooth process with great communication, Ocean in the service department is also a wonder, she also is a great communicator who is always informative at each service period. I Purchased a used Nissan Dualis from Peter at Brighton Nissan last month. Very happy with the car and the sales process.

Had a fuel pump gone in the second week, I rang spoke and the service team and they promptly were willing to help me. They fixed my car in 2 days at no cost to me, they even offered me a courtesy car and changed the battery in my key remote, outstanding service from Michael and Maddie.

I have also purchased the Premium Extended warranty from Antonio in Finance and now have 3 years peace of mind and roadside assist.

Extremely happy with the team and thanks everyone.

Really recommend Brighton Nissan.

Having never purchased from a dealership before I could not have asked for a friendlier or more professional team to deal with than Brighton Nissan.
Rod was a stand up guy who was non-pushy, helpful and went above and beyond with all our conditions for purchase.
Having come interstate it was great having him on board to take care of registering with vic roads and getting the vehicle transferred.
He was super responsive with all communications and really helped things run smoothly.
The whole team there were great and we are super happy with the car we walked away with and the level of service and care provided!
I would definitely reccomend them to anyone.

I bought a used Hyundai from this dealership and found the whole experience extremely uncomfortable, in fact I regret not buying from a friendlier (yet more expensive) dealer down the road.

I posted an 'enquiry' on Car Sales as I just wanted to view the car and had to do so in order to retrieve the name and address of the dealer. The next morning I already had numerous missed calls. I ignored them as I found it irritating and I just wanted to go and look. I went to view the car and informed them that I was just looking, as it was the first car I had seen. All the fake friendliness went out the window and I was received with an "oh, so you're not going to buy it today?" attitude. It was the first car I had even looked at! Everything about the visit was so pushy and non-genuine.

After viewing the car, I would receive multiple calls daily for the next week. They were not helpful, just harassing. I needed time to look at other cars and make up my mind. I was told that I needed to make a decision ASAP. So, I went back to look again and ask a few questions, all were responded with mumbled, vague answers. These guys are so money hungry and they don't even try to hide it. I decided to buy the car as I really liked it, despite how much I wanted to purchase somewhere else.

I ended up securing a great loan through a bank (even though they tried their hardest to push their loan service on me) and I was treated as if I had betrayed them! It was really ridiculous. I was getting such a better deal through the bank but they did not care about what was best for me.

Nearly two years on and I haven't heard a word since the day I purchased the car. After all the harassing phone calls prior to the sale, I thought maybe I would receive a follow-up call to see how everything was going. At least pretend they care. Nothing. I regret giving this dealer my money as I received a much more genuine and friendly service at the other dealers that I visited.

I wouldn't take my car for service with this deale...

I wouldn't take my car for service with this dealer. They were more focussed on adding extra items to the service list than performing actual service. That too they will call during the peak office hours and quote the issue which cannot be seen by a normal person.
This dealership is very shifty. Twice I had speaker issue and they said they changed it and eventually the did not. Now the car is out of warranty and I don't have a choice unless to live with it or repair it on my own.
Only 3 months ago I did a major service and yesterday car wouldn't start due to battery issue. When I called RACV they came and checked the battery water was almost empty. My micra car was only 3 year old bought brand new from the same dealership. Nissan capped service program has expensive labour rates and cars need to be serviced every 6 months which is a rip off.

There was a massive miscommunication during the purchasing and delivery process. Once we called the dealership to handle the situation, we were immediately responded to in a professional and courteous manner. Just had our Nissan vehicle (which was also purchased here) serviced by Birghton Nissan (21/May 2019).
The service here was exceptional.
My wife got a service car (no charge) and they completed the service before lunchtime which meant my wife could get things organised to pick our son up from school later.
AND My wife also got the car back to find that they took the time to wash the car as well..!
Car (probably most importantly) is running smooth as silk too.
This kind of service is first class so well done to Nik and his service team.
I would recommend this Nissan dealership to anyone inside or outside the area. 5 stars
