Highly competent, outstanding services and great attitude was what I experienced recently with Patrick Bergman at Total Property Management Bright Partners. Patrick was highly responsive to client needs which I appreciate a great deal. He has my strongest recommendations.

I had had Patrick Bergman from Total Property Management managing my investment property for a year or so now and everything has been flawless. Patrick is very personable, has always put forward great tenants and attends to any maintenance at the property promptly. I am now preparing the property for sale and Patrick has been of the utmost assistance in that process, guiding us on a seamless transition toward the sale of the property.

I write this review after being a renter with whom my landlord chose TPM to be their property management agency. This was only the second time in my life that I have rented; all other times I have lived in my own homes and am a landlord myself so understand how stressful it can be to own an investment property. I would strongly recommend against choosing them to manage your investment property, and if they have a property for lease, I would recommend avoiding if you're a renter.
Their automated telephone service means you never get a hold of anyone as it goes to voicemail. Emails are left mostly unanswered (unless you CC in the partner) and maintenance requests are not actioned in a timely manner or at all.
Last I checked, money is exchanged for goods and services, and they fail to provide goods or services for the money they take from their clients (renters and owners).
Buyer beware.

Bright Partners management of our property was woeful. Repairs were poorly supervised, inspections were cursory and emails invariably went unanswered. Bond was released without damage being rectified, and they could not even be bothered providing an end of lease inspection report. Repeated requests direct to the Managing Director were simply ignored, evidence of an unprofessional, couldn t-care-less attitude on the part of company management.

I rented a property managed by TPM and was handled by Patrick Bergman for 28 months. He is a very approachable person, follows up any maintenance very well and response to emails almost immediately. I have read bad reviews about TPM but personally, Patrick had been very helpful throughout my tenancy at the property. Double thumbs up to Patrick.
If you have a property with him or renting through him, you are in good hands.

Purchased a property in Braddon that was managed by this company. On the basis of negligence and incompetence shown to us as new owners and to the sales agent prior to settlement, we would never use them to manage a rental property. We had to delay settlement on the property due to their incompetence. Unforgiveable.

I would love to take back the past year

I would love to take back the past year
of my life leasing with TPM. Something about the cold hard floors of Canberra's streets became appealing when it came time to get in contact with their team. Dealing with them was akin to dealing with kindergarteners that haven't ever spoken to anyone outside of their coddling mother. The 3 braincells TPM share collectively seem to have disintegrated on the day of the lease sign, I wish I could have given them back to save other tenants the stress and pure hatred of trying to ever get anything done around the property.

One star is one too many for these guys but Google doesn't let you do zero. Have moved a lot for work so have dealt with many property managers and TPM takes the cake by a country mile in terms of unresponsiveness. Seems the only way you ever get a response is if you Cc in the partner. Never answer the phone or call back. All of their communications are automated and duplicated, so you receive everything pointlessly twice. However, they seem to miraculously be able to contact you instantly should you ever owe them a cent. Maintenance issues went unanswered for weeks. As both a landlord and tenant, I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

Worst experience I have ever had with these guys. If I had to choose between renting/buying a property with these guys or being permanently homeless then I would take the chance and be homeless, that way you can always rely on yourself and not these parrots. I'd rather have an elephant sit on my face than deal with anyone from bright partners.

Scheduled an inspection with them, property manager said Wednesday afternoon. She shows up and does not have the correct key to open the property.

She then reschedules for a Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm. I arrive at 1:20 and waited till 2pm, she did not show up.

No way to contact her given, no replies to email or phone.

Very unprofessional, if you have a property do not get them to manage it for you.

A terribly unprofessional business, completely unwilling to provide any kind of 'service' and unable to manage their own responsibilities let alone other peoples properties.
They try to force others to pay for their own mistakes and mismanagement.

Very sorry to say that the communication with this guys is atrocious. Senior property manager seems to be working like a headless chook.

I tried to reach her everyday for 7 days last week regarding a property for rent and did not bother returning my phone calls. Left messages and no response. Each time you phone, it simply goes to voicemail.

Receptionist simply transfers the call to the property manager and than straight to voicemail. Again, does not bother to return my call or messages.

Not sure what the business process/model is but seems like you guys are either understaffed or simply don't care.

Very disappointed and would not recommend these guys to anyone. Not even landlords.

Avoid if possible - Extremely hard to in contact with property manager, be prepared to wait a while if you are renting and need something repaired, they will also try and take your bond once you leave - Stay away !!!

Ainslie has managed my property for the last 3 years and I have received nothing but outstanding service. My enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner and she has always been able to find reliable tenants for my unit. I wouldn't go elsewhere for my property management needs, ever.
