Love you Bridger bowl! Hope climate change doesn't make you extinct
You can find any level of difficulty here. The snow is best a little later in the season. A great deal for economics skiing.
Awesome place to go skiing affordable ($60 for a day pass, 45 for rentals) good mix of skiing and tends not to be terribly crowded.
Great local ski hill with plenty of back-country access and great terrain.
It was lovely to walk the path but was deserted as was not ski season.
Very busy, extensive parking and great snow skiing. Food good but expensive.
It was my first time there. Great area, powder was awesome! Will not find better snow. Lots of people.
Had an awesome time middle of the week best time to go
Great place to visit, awesome people, great prices and not as busy as many other Ski resorts!
It was summer and I went to hike not to ski. The route to the top is not well marked so it's good to have a map but you get up to the ridge rather quickly. In the early summer the flowers are beautiful
Such a beautiful experience and the instructors are amazing and super helpful.
This is the best skiing in Montana, no questions!!!!!
Wasnt here to ski. Came for a horseback poker ride with Gallatin Valley Backcountry Horsemen riding club. It was awesome.
Friendly staff. Love the simple, hometown feel. Bridger is a non-profit, so the prices are reasonable and my kids have had such great learning experiences in they ski school!
I loved this Mountain, with a small town feel!!! It reminds me of Marmot Basin with a very similar set up and very cheap lift tickets!!! Only a 20 min drive from Bozeman as well!!! I'll be going back for sure!!!
Had a great time snowboarding here! A friend and I drove all the way from St. Cloud, MN to ride for a couple of days. Lots of runs, good powder in the trees and a very friendly staff!
Probably the best community owned ski area in the country. Not impressed with grooming this year.
Love this ski area. It's the real deal. Plenty of terrain to scare yourself. And a great beginner area for the kids. Big mountain experience with a small resort feel. The snow was plentiful. If your an expert skier ( or you think you are) hook up with a local and ski the Ridge. Dont forget your peep, a shovel and your probe. It's open to any one who can make the hike. Dont go up there without a local. Many runs off the top cliff out. Need to know where and how to access the goods.
Best powder day in my life was here. Slaushmans is the bank country with a lift
My first time skiing was here and I had a great time, the instructor was very nice and I had a good time. Maybe next time I can go to the top
This is my home mountain! Great skiing for a good price and next to no lines most of the time. Go ski here, you won't regret it!
More technical than other mountains and great time for all skier's
Incredible people, Utah snow has me spoiled, but the people make it all better.
My favorite in Montana. Tons of surface, short lines.
I grew up Skiing here and still continue to go. I have skied at other areas and they don't have the same laid back attitude of Bridger. This area has expanded a lot and offers many options for skiers of all abilities.
Price has gradually climbed over the years. Half day is not half price! Full day is $60 and half day is $51 so don't go up there late with the assumption of a screaming deal.
Clever folks know to drive north to Bridger and stay away from Big Sky.
Unless it's a Wednesday, with no new snow, at 3:30pm- Bridger Bowl is a zoo. Now, if you like 30 minute lift lines, no parking, and a sub-par ski experience- it might be your place. And don't be fooled by the positive reviews: they're most likely left by Oatans from Buck Hill or Jerry Peak.
Save your money, and your time, and head to Front range Colorado, Tahoe, or Jackson, and avoid the garbage that is Montana skiing/snowboarding.
Great mountain although they are definitely in need of some new ideas as it gets more crowded. I refuse to go on the weekends now
I liked this park because of the greens. There are a few greens great for beginners. That's me.
There are several blues next to Green's as you come down i end my 9 year old got on a blue by accident. Ugh. Horrible. But we stayed strong and eventually made it down.
If following correctly (which i didn't) from the top can go a long way on greens to bottom. The best way to get better is to practice and ski. This park can allow that for new skiers.
2 places to get rental skis. At lodge and about 100 feet below lodge. There is a convenience at the lodge when leaving closer, right there to check in. The other rental place, you have a bit of a hike down to return the skis.
Note we used the one further down not at the lodgr. Great service! Fast and they checked our gear right there. Nice place.
Great skiing and riding located just outside Bozeman, MT. The mountain has a lot to offer with a good deal of varying terrain. The lift system is well laid out and seems to accommodate the crowd well. The lodging areas offer the necessities without the frills of larger resorts. Lift tickets are reasonably priced.
Full disclosure, I did not have time to ski but I was watching the MSU Invitational ski meet. The weather was fantastic, the snow was really good according to people I spoke with. Lots of terrain and no lines. I asked if it was always empty and the guy told me it was Wednesday. He said weekends are full and all the parking lots are full. I say ski during the week and have an amazing time. Definitely on the list.
A down home ski hill, even as it grows. Some of the best days of my life were spent skipping school as a kid to come play up there. Still home to kids skipping school, whole families skipping responsibilities, dirtbags who never had any responsibilities to begin with, as well as a grip of world class rippers, increasingly wealthier college kids, and every other social strata from the valley and Livingston. The terrain speaks for itself.
Really enjoyed this day below at Bridger Bowl in Bozeman MT nothing but powder.
This mountain was awesome. Short waits in the lift lines, great boarding, nice staff. We set up a stay and ski package through Bridger Bowl and everything was great.
We thoroughly enjoyed Bridger. Lots of good powder. Big enough for fun but small enough for families. The Round House ski rental people were also great there. Loved every minute of it!
The only thing that really needs improvement is the labeling of the trails. Otherwise great all around!
I really enjoyed this place super friendly and helpful employees. The slopes were wonderful
Shhhhh, wonderful, friendly local unknown snow sports area. Keep the secret, the staff is great.
Lots of diversity. Extremely fair priced. You can't have a bad time here.
Very good intermediate to expert terrain for a non-destination resort with reasonable lift ticket prices.
We were involved in the remodel and it looks great I will be back to ski and say hi to the owner what a nice guy.
I'm from Massachusetts and had never been skiing before but your instructors were amazing and patient. Lines weren't long. Beautiful snow!
Great skiing for all levels, and really friendly staff. Lots of mountain to explore!
A great local family mountain. And with a decent price.
Everyone that works here is so nice and helpful. Great lifts, great amenities, amazing value.
Our piece of snow heaven in SW Montana, laid back, nice runs, rock music at the lifts! Weekdays it is empty, more visits next year.
I've been to most major ski resorts in the Rocky Mountains. This one just became a definite top 5. That is high praise. This place has everything any level skier is looking for, all with a laid back, town Hill atmosphere that makes the entire experience a total pleasure. Factor in reasonable prices and we will be back and back and back in years to come.
Awesome place to ski. We were here for a week long ski trip and utilized both Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. We liked them both but slightly preferred Bridger Bowl. Definitely easier to get to if you're staying in Bozeman.
The place just sucks, stay away, Big Sky is a much better hill to ski on.
The hill is very heavily used and ridden that it was ruts/ice from people s boards. Biggest problem is they need more snow (not their fault). Lots of very nice people to talk to. The lodge and bar were completed packed and it was hard to find anywhere to sit. Overall a good day.
It is like skiing in a movie. actually it's like skiing in 3 resorts at once. there is something for everyone and every ability level. the views are stunning and the terrain is unparalleled. it is as close to backcountry heliskiing as you could ever get in a resort
For the money this place is hands down the best in the west. Don't come here looking for frills or glitz though, if you want to ski or ride powder all day for 62 bucks then hit the bar and pay great prices for food and beer, this is your place. I was blown away by the price and convenience of the hotels in Bozeman as well. Under 100 bucks a night and most of them are new. There are a ton of sporting good stores in town along with the normal stores for stuff you forgot. We went to Target for a few things and all of the prices are the same as any midwestern town.
Great place to ski lots of runs and minimal wait in lines at chair lift
This place is amazing. The prices are amazing for a real ski resort, the food is great, and the area is beautiful. Staff was accommodating. This place is great for families. Parking is good, and lift times aren't super long for the distance. It is located in a national park, so high speed chairlifts are not available, but that is no problem. Check this place out, and you won't regret it.
I bought a powder alliance pass for the sole reason of being able to snowboard some new mountains. Thanks to all the convenient black out dates it was a big waste of money. They blackout all the times when working people have off work. If they don't want my money I'll spend it elsewhere. I will never buy one again. Icon pass or Epic pass next time.
Best local ski resort. I grew up skiing here. The staff is friendly and care more about the skiers than making $. The mountain is well cared for with runs for every level. The food is amazing but to save $ we do pack our lunch mostly. They are always improving. Now I'm teaching my kids here and the bunny hill is wonderful. 2 magic carpets and a short lift. Great terrain for the kids to learn to ski on.
Wonderful variety of terrain challenges and great snow. Free bus from downtown Bozeman on weekends!
Great friendly staff. Nice open slopes without crowds or waiting for lifts. Awesome day.
