After the sale Ivan kept in contact with us on a weekly basis keeping us appraised of not just properties listed with Bresic but also those listed with other agents that we may be interested in. Absolutely pathetic property managers. It s been a constant battle to get even the slightest issue resolved with them over the past two years.

Terrible experience. Didn't give any notice for an inspection of a rental property in breach of the lease. Very unresponsive to requests for repairs. Would not recommend.

I have been renting a property through BresicWhitney for about four years now. Alexandra is my agent and she is fantastic to deal with. She always responds promptly and actions things ranging from a leaking roof to terminally cold water! rental bidding is unethical, and your process is far from transparent. Put in an application with stellar references previous rentals way above the listing price of property applying. Only to receive email before the application systems has even been reviewed to say landlord went with another applicant due to offer $55 over listing price. How is anyone else meant to know that you can bid or get an opportunity to counter bid? Clearly you have no ethics are true disappointment. I hope when the reforms come in for renting in NSW march 2020 you abide by them and best start practicing good ethics and transparency now.

Have been renting through Bresic Whitney for years now. Highly professional and reliable. Excellent customer service from signing initial papers through to managing repairs and queries. The property managers are devoted and interactions have been nothing but pleasant. Highly recommend.

Please, anyone reading these reviews, save yourself a lot of trouble and stress, and DO NOT RENT FROM BRESIC WHITNEY. They are unprofessional and unethical. I'm sure they tell landlords what a great job they do, but renters are treated with disdain. If you find your dream rental home and it's managed by BresicWhitney, it's probably going to turn into a rental nightmare. Beware.

Their agents are great. As a tenant any issues I've ever had have been dealt with straight away. I can't sing their praises high enough. Rae is my current agent, when I email her I get a very prompt reply and it is always useful! I dread the day I move out and dont get to.deal with these people!

I just went through the process of my very first and much loved apartment sale.
Darren Pearce and Elliot Lane came highly recommended to me via 3 different friends who had worked with them before. I have to say they both made the whole experience as easy and as stress free as possible from our introduction.

They were our rental agents for 9 years. Initially, the service was spot on, but we felt it declined over time. We got a new property manager every year and found ourselves emailing twice and thrice just to get a reply. In fairness, the annual property inspections and rental statements were good. They advised us to raise the rent by a total 12% over those 9 years and, when we changed agents, we got a very significant rent increase straight away from the same tenants.

I highly recommend Brigitte Blackman, she was very personable and transparent from the very first open.

She kept me in the loop the entire process and really made me feel that she has both the vendor and my best interests when securing the deal.

She worked after hours and was always available when we needed, which made us feel really secure with this purchase.

The apartment was styled very well and gave the space a great sense of luxury living in the Eastern Suburbs. She definitely knows the market and the area very well.

So fake wouldn't trust any of their real estate agents have dealt and met most of them. Happy to take your money! When they do there showings of your property they don't like you around at all so they can tell the buyers what they really think about your property. Remember there is always someone watching :-) I would never use them again..

Jenna Phillips at Bresic Whitney Darlinghurst has been the property manager for our flat for almost 10 years. During all that time she has been diligent regarding our flat, professional in her dealings with us and always responsive when we need something. I recommend her highly in light of our dealings with her.

Bresic Whitney recently sold my property a good experience but looking at it now should have got bit more when other properties have sold well above there price guides, a few things William Phillips is a good agent but showed some inexperience. You don't say to the vendor when there is a buyer you don't think your property is worth that much and as it turned out he was wrong as there was another higher offer. and other things that i won't go into. It all depends on the buyers and you got to remember you are dealing with selling peoples properties which can only be a once in a lifetime experience and people don't forget how you make them feel..

Elle Etherington was a very rude agent. She offered us a property and seemed annoyed when we asked for a bit of time to discuss it. My partner called her to let her know our decision and unfortunately there was phone connection issues. We tried to sort out the phone issues and call her back to let her know our decision, but before we could, she emailed us saying that the offer was retracted and we would never be considered for another property. She assumed my partner hung up on her and didn't even give us a moment to explain.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Every interaction with BW was painful. From day 1 they calculated all the rental/deposit incorrectly meaning we had to make multiple payments to correct their error. The rental property we moved into was filthy and had cockroaches so we had to get pest Control in. We had to fight for our bond return for 2 months.

Communication isn t clear, they re not particularly friendly, Every request feels like you re an inconvenience.

I think also the owner at our property was problematic too so probably Not all their fault but I look forward to NEVER dealing with BW again. I would give up my dream rental if it was leased with BW.

Charlie-Ross and Evelyn dealt with the water ingress event at my property with clarity, decisiveness and alacricity. I was very impressed at both their professionalism and promptness. Additionally they maintained useful records that could be supplied on request. More recently they have assisted with the plans for painting and re-carpeting by providing a range of quotes and a suitable selection of products. I do not usually write reviews, but felt compelled to in this case as it was a way in which their mutual responsiveness and consistent positive efforts could be recognised.

From my experience of dealing with property mangers in the past, Charlie and Evelyn from Bresic Whitney are by far the most professional, reliable and excellent mangers I've ever dealt with. They work incredibly well as a team and always go above and beyond to have my requests and/or any issues fixed quickly. They are both incredibly lovely people who are very honest and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend Charlie and Evelyn at the team at Bresic Whitney to all my family and friends.

When we bought in Woolloomooloo in 2005 we did so after scouring the Surry Hills and Darlinghurst areas for months. During that time we were so impressed by an agency we had not seen before - BresicWhitney. Agents went above and beyond to help both vendors and buyers, working with them to reach agreements that left all parties happy.

In the last 24 hours Brad worked with potential bidders at our upcoming auction on Saturday to provide them with an opportunity to purchase the property before auction. In so doing, Brad achieved for us an offer that exceeded our expectations. Brad s manner is engaging and friendly and he built trusting relationships with our potential buyers and with us.

We will be forever grateful to the team at BresicWhitney - including Hugh who helped us with our marketing strategy and liaised so effectively with potential buyers. Nic and Brad were prompt and helpful during all of our public inspections, and made themselves available beyond normal work hours to assist both us and potential buyers. It would be an understatement to say that watching Brad work was awe-inspiring. His commitment to achieving the best deal for us was unforgettable.

BresicWhitney(BW) Darlinghurst 'managed' my investment property.

Past tense but also they didn't really manage it..
* BW let the bathroom become mould ridden
* BW advertised and showed new pot. tenants my investment in this mould ridden state, not only a commercially ridiculous thing to do, but also irresponsible and a health concern to expose people to mould.

Merridy Stoker was the agent.

Asked to see bank statements with savings proving I was able to pay bond, 2 weeks rent in advance and the weekly rental.

Considering I had already provided a bank statement proving salary payments into that account for two years, along with rental ledgers, as well as a confirmation letter from my employer stating my increased annual salary amount as at 8 May 2020, as well as the annual bonus portion I would receive - apparently they still asked to see an account with accumulated savings in it. I found this highly unethical and something I ve never had to provide in the 20 years I ve rented property both as a tenant and a landlord. So I immediately, cancelled my application more so as I could not envisage a relationship with this agency if this is their tactics.

Furthermore, this was not requested via the online application but what is further annoying is that after they had bothered employers, referees and personal referees, they then ask for this information thinking nothing of it and that I would provide it without question.

Might I suggest you highlight these details in your application form from the outset as it makes your agency look unprofessional and disorganised and it can potentially save needless bother to referees some of which are busy executives.

Having worked in leasing and sales at McGrath I m certainly qualified to make these comments and only do so to help BresicWhitney become a better agency.

I have just used BresicWhitney to rent out my house and I couldn't be more impressed. Kate Pollington came to my place and talked me through the campaign giving me great advise on how to present the place and what I could expect. They sent an amazing photographer who took beautiful images that really showed the place at its best. Our first open house was midweek and I really expected 1 or 2 people but over 35 groups came and I secured excellent tenants that day. The difference between BresicWhitney and other real estate agents I've used is there employees specialise in very specific aspects of the letting process. You really have a whole team of people at your disposal from marketing advisers, tenant specialists, property managers, photographers and editors. Once again I couldn't be happier and would thoroughly recommend them.

My partner and I recently sold our property at Surry Hills through Will Phillips. We have now sold two properties and bought one through BresicWhitney and Will.

Several years ago when we first began looking at buying property, we were both in our mid twenties and new to the market. Every open house we went to ended with the same story - patronising real estate agents who didn't consider us as a worthwhile time investment. That is until we went to a BresicWhitney open home and met Will. From the first time he met us he made an effort to get to know us and our interests, and treated us as he did everyone else. We didn't end up purchasing through Will at the time but when we were ready to sell a few years later, it was an easy decision to list with him.

Since that time we have had many interactions with members of the staff and each and every one of them has been professional, knowledgeable and helpful. BEWARE: Hands down THE WORST REAL ESTATE AGENTS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Nothing but pain and stress dealing with these people.

Not only was our property in need of multiple repairs when we moved in, it was nearly impossible to communicate with them about any issue and have any kind of normal conversation.

When we moved out their lack of skill and experience was on full display as they fumbled their way through the process so that their equally incompetent sales team could maximise their commission.

They then tried to make a claim against our bond for lost days of rent when we weren't even in the property and damage caused by their trades people who rushed jobs after we left.

We applied for a tribunal hearing and they eventually dropped their claim which was an obvious display of conceit following their cowardly and bully like treatment throughout our whole tenancy.

I would caution any tenant or prospective seller / buyer to consider another agent. The only things you will be able to count on are grammar and spelling mistakes in emails, denial, stubbornness and extreme incompetence.

Merridy Stoker was an absolute pleasure to deal with. It s been a few years since I had to deal with realstate agents and honestly, I was ready for some grumpy, eye roling, full of attitude person wearing bad shoes. One of the few real estate agencies that will tell you your application was unsuccessful (talking from a renter's perspective). It's a pleasant, uncomplicated experience to deal with them, even when you're moving out.

One star beause no stars isn t an option.

Weekly rent increase saw us move. Refusal to negotiate on price in a falling market. Now place is rented (after being empty for 5 weeks) for $65 less than the price it was listed and $25 less then what we were paying.

Alex Amorginos has managed my investment property for many years. I think she provides the best of both worlds, being empathetic with the tenants but always with my interest and that of the property foremost. Happy tenants make for the good rental outcome, and Alex has always been excellent at negotiating with tenants, tradespeople etc. for the best results.

Brad Hillier has done an admirable job for me in somewhat difficult circumstances, given the rapid deterioration of the market in the area where I owned my property. Brad was knowledgeable and up-to-date, an excellent communicator and provided information and advice that I felt I could trust . While I did not achieve the price that I desired, there were few buyers in the market for this property and I was happy that Brad was able to hang on to the one potential purchaser and close the deal with him. I would certainly recommend Brad to any property vendor.

Had interactions with these guys as the purchaser of a property. The agents themselves were fairly transparent about everything and easy to communicate with. Negotiation process was conducted with professionalism and integrity. Overall a good experience and because of that am much more likely to use them as agents when considering selling the property.

We have dealt with a few different real estate agents (both buying and selling) and Darrius Morrow is the most friendly and professional agent. He has acted promptly and kept us updated during the process. We would definitely go with Darrius again in the future if we need to buy or sell another property. Highly recommend him!

We had numerous problems with their handling of our rental property. The few times work need to be done and required someone on-site to give entry or to review the work, they would not attend to it. This would require my partner or I take time off work to deal with the situation, which they were more than happy for us to do.

I didn't really understand the point of paying someone to manage our property when we had to be there for everything so we dropped them and went with someone else. The new agent is much more proactive and communicative while charging about the same fee.

We rented a property under the management of Ngaire Wiernicki. She made our experience with BresicWhitney agony. I hope the company reconsiders her employment.

Agent who turned up to host inspection was disorganised, inflexible, canceled inspection unexpectedly without reason and smelt like cigarettes.

Rented in a place for 4 years from Bresic Whitney, only to have a fellow tenant leave because Bresic Whitney took 4 months to NOT send us new tenant applications. After 4 emails, 2 texts and 3 phone calls I was never sent the new forms. Upon ending my lease they emailed me to return the keys on a Tuesday with no time frame stated. Now they are billing me for 1 days rent for a 3 bedroom house because i delivered the keys in the afternoon and not the morning. Don't deal with Bresic Whitney, they just want money and will steal as much from you as they can. They will take any opportunity to blame you, the tenant, for their mistakes and lack of professionalism. EVEN AFTER YOU SPEND OVER $166,000 RENTING FROM THEM. Enmore, Sydney, NSW 2042.

As a property owner I will never recommend anyone ever to us this agency. Unprofessional and disrespectful.

1 of the worst property managers I've had in 10 years.
Dryer is been out of order for a month now and they won't replace it or get me rent reduction. I've been getting told that a new dryer is coming, it's been over 4 weeks.

ALSO be aware with your bond, they will add extras if you don't use their cleaners.

Excellent experience.... to sum it up, the BresicWhitneyTeam had give us the 'customer service' in every sense of the word. Word thank you is not enough.

We met with several agents before deciding on BresicWhitney. We decided to go with them because we were confident that they would ultimately get us a better asking price and this would outweigh the slightly higher costs they charge. We also were impressed that it wasn't just the one agent promoting our property, with about 5 different agents coming to view the property when it first went on the market. Once the campaign began, Brad was really good in keeping me updated with how the viewings were progressing and what the feedback on the property was - even providing a suggestion on what to do to improve the impression of the apartment. I trusted Brad and the team with their recommended strategy and it paid off with a sale price considerably more than what I expected. And at least an additional $20k was because of their sales techniques. Overall would definitely recommend Brad and the team.
