Brent Weatherall Jeweller has always provided me with excellent, fair, top class service . They stock a wide range of gorgeous products that make gift shopping a breeze. Brent has always been efficient, professional and goes above an beyond in helping with repairs so that I always leave happy and confident I went to the best in town! Thanks Weatherall team!

I can't express enough how disappointed I am in the way I was treated today. I took my bracelet in to have the heart clasp fixed (it had come apart).

I had been quoted $100 for the work that I have had done multiple times before in Australia for only $35, but as Dunedin is quite small I felt I would give these guys a go.

I go in to pick it up after I have been overseas, and the price went up to $185??? I was confused and spoke nicely to the young girl who was also nice and said she would just go and check with Brent (owner) about it. She came back just confirming the price was correct. When I tried to explain to her that it was not my original quote, the short haired wife of Brent came up very arrogantly telling her staff that she will "deal with me".

After saying what the younger staff member was already saying but in her extreme condescending tone, she literally storms off with my bracelet and mutters under her breathe that she was going to get her husband to deal with it. I was shocked that anyone could actually be so rude, nice customer service lady!

Brent comes out and just laughs at me, making me like I was being erratic because I kept asking him to give me my bracelet back and I will go elsewhere. Another staff member starts to pick on me claiming she tried to call me multiple times when I told them that my phone was OFF while I was overseas and that nothing should have been done without my permission. Brent then continues to talk over me, and then tells me not to talk over him, I couldn't believe what was going on.

After this humiliation, him and his awful staff put on me, he told me it would take another week to get my bracelet back, but then calls me within the hour of me leaving the shop saying it was ready. I went straight to another jeweller who quoted me $40 to do what I asked!!

So, thanks for NOTHING, I shouldn't have come back with my bracelet after they also failed to fix my Swarovski watch.

PS. He then brought up the Christchurch Terrorist attack and said I should have been sharing the love, basically trying to compare me to a terrorist? WHAT!

Moral of the story, go see these guys if you really feel like getting gas lighted and bullied. NEVER AGAIN.

Friendly service. Beautiful jewellery. Reasonable price for getting rings sized compared to some other places.

To much traffic outside, dark frontage. Most products are cheaper online.

Such a beautiful shop shame EVERY piece of jewellery I have ever bought from there has discoloured, stones fallen out or has broken, then when i have been in it has ALWAYS been my fault, the way i wear it the amount of time I wear it, excuses excuses every single time, will never be buying anything from this store again and will ensure I pass this on to other people who maybe thinking of purchasing from here!!

I visited Brent and the team (a huge thanks to Michelle) after an insurance job gone wrong- by another local jeweler / goldsmith had botched up a job FOUR TIMES. Michelle talked me through my options, they were clear and very helpful. Initially we were looking at repairing the shoddy job from the other jeweler/ goldsmith. But we decided to do a complete remake. I got to pick what I wanted, I was kept informed, the quote was quick and easy and I felt really reasonable for what I got. The results were spectacular, a perfect ring EXACTLY what I wanted - that I ve been unable to stop looking at. Brent even called me to see how I liked it after I had picked it up.

The staff instore never made me feel like a burden, Michelle even seen me at Christmas time and gave me a big hug,they were always happy to chat throughout the process and answered all my questions happily.

Brent, Michelle and Jo took what was a stressful and really upsetting time for me and my husband and they made it right. Thank you!!

I had the best service today at Brent weatherall Jewellers. I have a special occasion to go to and needed some jewellery to go with my dress. Jo matched from a photo some beautiful earing and necklace to go with my rose gold dress. I would highly recommend them for any occasion!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Wow I got a watch strap replaced from here not less than a month ago for my dress watch $70. By the time I got home the strap had come out and was not the correct fit for the watch. Next time I was in town I took it back (I live an hour from Dunedin so can't take it back ASAP). They 'fixed' it but again the same thing happened at the other end of the strap. Once again I took it in as this time the watch strap was also damaged. May I add that this is a dress watch and I have only ever worn it 4 times since the strap was replaced and they accused me of damaging it. THE WATCH STRAP IS OBVIOUSLY INCORRECT FOR THE WATCH with the issues I have had. Oh and then they said I damaged the pin - how I have no idea but they seemed to know it all and didn't want to hear my side of the story (perhaps the jeweller did as it was at the end that was the first to be fixed)! Absurd as I only ever wear it to special occasions and do not wear for everyday use. They kept going out the back to talk to the jeweller and not once did 'he' come out and hear my side of the story. So disappointed with the lack of care, follow up or interest in this issue. Lets just say you have lost a customer and I SHALL NOT be recommending to anyone or using as the family jeweller - the complete opposite - horrible disregard for customer and treated very poorly. Disgusted. You didn't even try and remedy the situation or offer any alternatives.

On recommendation from a friend did an amazing job repairing a ring with a lot of sentimental value. Could not be happier with the respect, speed and quality of their work. Beautiful work - highly recommended.

I needed to get my engagement ring fixed, and the jeweller here fixed and cleaned it within the day! It looks amazing. All the lady s working there were really friendly and super helpful. I would go back if needed again. Truly recommend!!

Fantastic service each and every time. An incredible store with anything you could ever want to buy. I've never had any hassle with any repairs or replacements. Fantastic work restoring a ring of my mothers as well.

I ve been there lots of times over the years to get presents for people and I ve always had a good experience. Staff are friendly, helpful, and always seem to translate my vague idea of what I want into something perfect.
