Fantastic facility and organisation on the banks of Windemere
Stayed here for 4 weeks in May/June 1979 on Outward Bound course. Met some wonderful people. Particularly remember Jacqui Pye, Colin Carr and Lola Sanbanjo. A real character building time.
If the Brathay Trust was Hip Hop Pete Hubble would be Tupac Shakur!!!!
Always a joy to come here. Helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, and rooms (especially in the lodge) are amazing. Can't wait to get back for my next retreat
300 acres of grounds, best view of WINDERMERE, pleasant staff, good rooms and pleasant surroundings
I stayed here in September 1979!...Along with about forty other guys and gals...Outward bound course...was a fantastic place.
Best place for a week or weekend away including teamwork activities
This charity changes people's lives and brings the best out of anyone top class facilities
Top class staff. Best week I have ever had the privilege to do with lovely people..
As a family of four plus the dog we stayed for three nights. The lodge was very practical, comfy and warm All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Due to the awful weather we used the communal lounge area in the main house to kick about, read and watch movies.
I was there ln March 1960 on an outward bound course. Fantastic experience, always thought of it as one of the best holidays that I ever had.it was for 1 month. I was sent there by my employer at the age of 15. Great experience.
Had an amazing weekend here at brathay hall X definitely be coming back X
Excellent facilities...problem solving a speciality as regards teamwork skills...it can drive you nuts if you let it :)
Rooms were ok small but clean, the cooked breakfast was disgusting, deep fried bacon and sausage we're cheap and nasty, the scrambled egg was very salty. The breakfast are looks like the 70s had a funny smell in there, wouldn't visit there again.
