The brewery is very nice. As one of the original large Canadian distillery I personally highly recommend the tour (when available). Great history and a fun time. Not to mention got to hit the labatt store on the way out

Was a great tour, well organized and informational and our guide Margie was fun. Would recommend to anyone try it. Would have liked to see a retail store in the pub/lounge area. Staff very friendly and preped us well in advance about footwear and jewelry and cash only when we made reservation for tour.

It would be love to see Michelob for sale here in Canada! In the '70s you brewed trial brews of Michelob beer in London and although it was supposed to be dumped we were able to get some and we tasted it and it was pretty good!! Better than your "Bud" and much better than "Stella" and actually better than Blue or 50.
I also noticed that you have started to brew Spaten! Why would you choose to brew another Munich Helles when you already brew Lowenbrau!! Be a little creative and try brewing their (Spaten) pilsener which actually is rather good (at least it is in Germany!). In Germany since the '70s "Helles/Export/Dortmunder" style beers have generally become less popular as German Pilsners became very popular. This was happening in Germany around the same time as London Ont.was switching from Labatt 50, Carling Red Cap or Molson Export to lager beers like Blue/Black Label/Canadian.

My family and I went for a tour with a fairly large group. The tour guide was lovely, but the tour was so disjointed and disorganized. The doors won't open with the tour guides keys and had to get security multiple times (It did not help that security did not answer when the guide for attempted to contact them to open doors). My group also had to move back and forth because the guide had to reroute her way. Beer tasting was fun, but now that I see others' reviews, I noticed that our beers were not served with coasters. It would've been nice to have them for a) aesthetic purposes b) to remember which beer was which.
Overall, interesting tour! But could have been so much better with better organization.

Very good tour! We reserved ahead of time to avoid disappointment. The guides were knowledgeable and very proud of London's hometown brewery. Interesting to follow the process through to the end and learn how some of the byproducts are used by farms. Tasting experience was quite educational as well. Nicely done! Would recommend this tour.

Just finished a road trip to London Ontario and on the itinerary was a guided Labatt Brewery tour. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
Lots of Canadian history behind this brewery. Our guide Lauren (sp?) was really informative, engaging and super friendly which made this tour even more enjoyable!!
Highly recommended to book a tour ahead of time if you're planning a visit

Took tour in Summer 2011 with friends from Germany who were on vacation. Booked tour a day in advance (recommend booking early as tours fill up fast). Tour was very interesting and informative. Included beer tasting of the different types of beers, most of which are brewed in the London brewery. Also got to check the old Streamliner and Keg truck on display. Those interested in brewing history will like this aspect of the tour too. Recommend this tour.

Back in the spring, I visited Labatt Brewery for a company tour and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience.
Our guide was conversational, extremely informative and engaging. She did a superb job at providing our big group with endless facts, figures and pieces of history that were even new to me.
If you love beer and appreciate the entire process, you will inevitably enjoy this tour.

Great your and event we had. Very interesting seeing understanding how Labatt brews and how efficient of an operation they have. We were able to sample some of the beers afterwards. Our tour guide Molly was amazing, would recommend!

Great tour! Comes with beer. Learned alot about beer and labatt. The beer store here only has labatt and labatt conglomerates beer products so no great selection but the hours are later than most beer stores.
