Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. The food is good but not exceptional. We had a great time, which is the most important thing.

What was good
Oysters were excellent
The service was friendly and relaxed
The homemade sausages were unbelievable
Great location
Lovely comfortable tables and settings
There is plenty of space between tables; this makes it very relaxed and private
What could improve
The duck was overcooked
The game platter was tiny. We were expecting a larger dish. I am only complaining as it was so good

The location of this place is awesome, really nice garden to sit in as well. We went for lunch and I had a delicious fish soup which I really appreciated, however my second course, the steak tartare was an insult to Belgian cuisine. The meat was not fresh and poorly prepared, it also came with a hard boiled egg and a lot of spices "to spice it to taste" basically to cover up the poor tasting meat. I expect my chef to make it to taste, and if given a raw egg I might add some salt or pepers to balance it, but like I said this was an insult to steak tartare. For which I had high expectations considering the Belgian aire of the restaurant. Finally towards the end of our lunch the quality of service declined significantly, which was a shame because it was really good at the start. I'll give 3 instead of 2 stars because the soup was good and perhaps so are other dishes on the menu, but I will not recommend this place.

Very good restaurant with their own crafted beer. The food was very good but they could be a bit more generous on the serving but considering the quality in my opinion very good value for the money.
The service was also very good and friendly.
