Delicious dishes and a very nice atmosphere. The ministry always assists you with advice and assistance.

Very cozy and cozy, but on the more expensive side.

We were only 2 minutes in and immediately had to say what we wanted when we said we did not know they came every minute to ask again what we wanted. We just left again, not recommended!

The name refers to one of the architects of the OnzeLieveVrouwetoren. Cozy spacious brasserie where you don't have to be lured inside. Excellent food and drink. A reference in the city center between the market and the Groenplaats.

I've luv going to cocktail bar plus it serve food n it's packed n we girls just enjoyed ourselves.

A bit on the clubby side (we went after 9pm), but they serve food late. The tartar was good, though not as chunky as I would like, but came with an interesting salad on top. Drinks leaned a bit on the foo-foo side, but were good.

You're in the right place if you like the city bustle. Right in the center of Antwerp, cozy in the beautiful interior, tables close together and packed full on weekends. You will be met at the door by an employee who has a good overview of free seats. This is communicated efficiently with his colleagues via an earpiece. We were neatly offered a place at the bar upstairs on the second floor, where the bartender was busy pouring one cocktail after another, shaking it and overloading it with crushed ice. All this at an impressive pace. The splashes and chunks of ice flew around our ears, which was quite a spectacle for a moment ... But when a small table became available behind us, we politely asked to be allowed to sit there. This was no problem at all. The service was also very friendly and pleasant. My friend's Strawberry mojito was very tasty, but it didn't contain a lot of rum, I drank Oban whiskey, aged for 14 years. Together good for an account of 23 . We will therefore not quickly consume more than one drink here. Notwithstanding a nice place to enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Antwerp. And Appelmans is also an Absynt bar! This special drink is served spectacularly at your table! You should definitely try it.

Great place to sit down and relax. Awesome cocktails and friendly staff. Relaxing music and a great ambience. Will definitely go there again, might be our favorite place in Antwerp.

Nice brasserie food and cocktails but several mice were running around the restaurant underneath the tables! When we pointed this out to the staff, they were not surprised. Apparently they are aware of this problem and find it normal because "the restaurant is in the middle of the city"! We were absolutely horrified! I live in the middle of this city and this is the first time I have seen anything like this! I will not visit this place again. They should invest in better pest control!

Arrived during the day with a group of 8 with the elders, there were plenty of seats without reservation signs and we just down because there was no one to receive us. but then one of the waiters rudely said we had to leave the restaurant because it was not possible to place the tables together, and we weren't even allowed to go to the bar to stand. never ben treated so rude

What a beautiful restaurant on the inside and very tastefully decorated. On the outside you don't see anything of that. Operation is very nice and have an eye on everything. The food is well served and nice. Prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed it. Make sure you check the website to see if there are DJs playing. These actually start from 10 pm with good music but the volume goes up. Not very positive if you are just in a serious conversation. You can still understand each other.

Great place. We tasted the corvina and pork belly, which were delicious. It's the absinthe drink was the best I've ever had in my life.

A cocktail that you will never forget! One is sufficient, because the portions are large enough. A cocktail sommelier is also at your disposal to guide you further in the drinks, if you wish. Very hype place!

On a girls pub crawl through the old town on a Friday night we suddenly found this place and loved the vibe! Modern but still cosy with good music provided by a DJ and most of all they had absolutely amazing cocktails. The bartenders really do well recommending the right drink and are nice to be around - a fun place!

The cocktail menu is one if the restaurants big assets. (it has none-alcoholic ones too!! - for those people like me).

The restaurant has different menu's for lunch and dinner (which are available in English) and are happily explained by the lovely staff.
The prices aren't the lowest ones around but neither is the quality of the food as is the location in the centre of Antwerp.

For Belgian visitors a tip: if you have mealvouchers; you can use these here!

But you better eat somewhere else. Steak was cold and poorly fried. The goat cheese salad was actually a goat cheese croquette with heap of lettuce. The moelleux was inedible. Cold inside and not even "moelleux" ...

Fantastic bar where you can even have cocktails served outside the extensive menu on request. Also excellent restaurant.

We were disappointed with the quality of the dishes and especially high prices (25 mussels fries) Otherwise the service is effective.

Enough for the food but the staff has more attention for each other than for the guests in an almost empty place. That is a shame because they are friendly but because of that it takes a long time to pay and take orders. The terrace is in the busiest eating street of Antwerp and you can enjoy all the tourists here.

Too busy and tables are placed too closely together so that there is too little privacy. Employees are not always attentive but friendly, so you still earn 3 stars!

During our stay in Antwerp we went for a cocktail in Appelmans. Very extensive choice. Case looks nice.
