I am a dentist from a neighbouring dental practice in Cheadle Hulme. I have never met Riz from The Edge dental before but today I was confronted with a situation where I had a patient who had some treatment with me earlier this morning. One of her temporary veneers had debonded and she was due to go on holiday tomorrow at 6am!! Unfortunately I was away myself this afternoon and I had to ring around different dentists to see if anybody could help me. Riz was the first patient that I rang and he immediately called me back. He had finished with his last patient but he was kind enough to re-attend the clinic and see my friend. He was very professional and despite my patient having had extensive work with myself, she felt very comfortable with him. I needed a emergency dentist as I chipped my tooth, googled and found this amazing dentist. Easy to park in the car park and very accessible. The surgery is well presented but most importantly the service and treatment I received was exemplary. The dentist went though every part of my treatment in full detail. Highly recommended!!

Excellent emergency service. I was in severe and worsening pain with a dying nerve/tooth infection which had laughed off an ibuprofen-paracetamol-Tramadol sandwich. I phoned up at 20:30 and by 21:15 I was leaving in blissful relief with the offending tooth history, courtesy of the skilled and debonair Dr Rizwan and his angelic assistant. Immaculate premises, swift and efficient treatment - I would recommend this practice in general, but especially for emergency treatment when the NHS falls short. Thank you!
While the dentist is never pleasant the Edge Dental certainly try to make is so. The staff were incredibly friendly and discussed everything beforehand and made sure i was happy before the treatment started. Probably the best dentist i have ever been to

Very friendly and helpful staff the receptionist and dentist were very friendly and explained everything i needed, i had root canal treatment at an other dentist who didnt do a good job and it caused an infection, the dentist here sorted it out and did a great job on my root canal, the difference in the way it was done was fantastic. I highly recommend the Edge dental. I will definitely be using them again ,its always nice to get good service ,
I was in deep trouble on a Sunday night when i was looking for a dentist all day. Riz came to my rescue when my front tooth fell out at 7pm on a Sunday night!

I was referred for an emergency appointment as I had lost a crown just before going on a sailing holiday and my dentist was away.
It ended up being an extraction. The whole experience was a good as can be expected in the circumstances. Easy parking; clean, airy rooms; quick diagnosis following X-ray, blown up onto huge screen to explain what was going to happen; all procedures done straight away; friendly staff and they even rang the next day to check I was ok. I needed no pain killers or antibiotics (which they prescribed just in case). I wrote to thank them and report back on my return from holiday and they asked me to post something for others to read. Highly recommend.

I've been considered a dental patient that has been too difficult for some surgeries to work with: gag reflex and fear of treatment, but with Uzma and the team, nothing is too much trouble.

Riz and his lovely team of nurses were always kindness itself and they took a great deal of care to put me at ease.
I started off with a brace 19 months ago to straighten a very crooked front tooth with great success and then went on to have 4 crowns at the front, one of which was the replacement of an implant crown. Riz really went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect before the crowns were fitted and I have to say the end result is absolutely brilliant !
I would confidently recommend The Edge Dental to anyone looking for a really great dentist.

The dental plan is a great way to keep on top of your dentist visits.
I have an extreme fear of the dentist but after visiting this practice I feel great even though I had to have 2 teeth removed. The dentist talked me through every step and reassured me all the way I had 2 teeth removed with very no pain at all which I was surprised about. Great service and everyone was really friendly thank you again
Currently going through orthodontic treatment here and couldn't recommend the practice enough. I looked around a few local dentists before deciding on the Edge Dental, and definitely made the right decision. Open Saturdays for follow up appts so no need to try and manage around work during the week, and the appointments are always on time. Great friendly team - can't wait to see the final results!

Very professional service! Recommend to everyone who is scared of dentist! Very nice and friendly staff. Dentist was so confident and explained everything clearly so I was scared less. I've had 3 teeth taken out in emergency on Sunday afternoon. Even tho I am extremely scared of dentist, it wasn't painful, and they were looking after me so well, checking if I'm ok all the time!
RIz and Uzma at the The Edge Dental practice treated me on a Sunday as an emergency when I was in agony with an infection in my jaw under an old root canal.
The treatment was explained in detail and performed with utmost care and professionalism. I have since been back to the practice for more treatment. They are now my regular dentists. The dental nurses and receptionists are lovely. Everyone puts you at ease.
I have no hesitation in recommending the practice and will continue to do so.

I went to The Edge Dental to have braces fitted for crooked top and bottom teeth. I am two months into my treatment, and I can honestly say I am extremely impressed with the service. Having previously been a very nervous dental patient, it's very important to have a dentist that you like and can trust. The team at The Edge are very down-to-earth, fun and good at making you feel at ease. They are very professional, will fully explain your options (impartially) and are readily available should you have any issues afterwards. Needed emergency treatment and found this dental practice close by. Easy location to find and the practice was modern and immaculate. Riz checked out the problem tooth and described in full detail what the issue was and showed me the issue and how it could be treated .The treatment started immediately and my problem tooth is now no longer an issue.
