My passion is climbing and mountaineering mostly, and Arc'teryx is by far my favorite outdoor brand, the quality and attention to detail is amazing. I've definitely tried the competition and it never quite matches. It's definitely expensive but is an investment in quality durable gear.

Wonderful service! Their sales lead Emily was so incredibly helpful with our purchase of a jacket (hoodie) we wanted that was sold out everywhere in Canada. She promptly held the item, organized and supported our purchase and the shipping of it for us. She really went above and beyond and was lovely to deal with through the process! This is our second experience dealing with this particular Arc teryx store and we have been met with incredible customer service both times!

The store itself could be larger with more selections. I went in to see if the store carried Arcteryx's LEAF line, although they didn't, the employees pointed me in the right direction and we're extremely friendly! I even ended up coming out of the store with a sticker for free because the employees thanked me for serving! Great experience made by the employees there!!!

Awesome products, I've had a rain jacket for years and never got wet even in driving rain for extended hikes. Quality costs and their jackets cost a lot; you get what you pay for. Store serves to demonstrate the differences between models/features which are all very similar.

Came in with my dog on a sunny March afternoon and had a wonderful experience. Stanchions at the door to limit foot traffic and very regulated store. Erica was a wonderful employee and showed me exactly what I came in looking for (even though they had already sold out of a particular item).

Went into the seattle retail store in october 2020 and purchased two pairs of boots two jackets and a pair of pants Came to almost $1500! after paying that kind of price I expect high-quality gear and good customer service. The guy helping us out was very helpful and was happy to show us different items and to try on different items. He even gave us a couple of promo T-shirts at no cost. I went back to this store because I purchased some Bora GT boots about a year ago and the sole started to fall apart in an area and I went online and filled out a service request and they resolved my problem right away.

This time I bought a jacket for my wife and the logo on the front of the jacket started coming off within the first month and now the logo is totally gone off the jacket 3 months later. I called the store and they said that this has happened before and it does not affect the performance of the jacket. (So another words just deal with it). I went online and fill the service request and sent pics it s been over a month and a half and no resolution. I have purchased much less expensive outdoor gear and never have had an issue like this. The other jacket I purchased the logo is OK because it is stitched in.

The other issue I have is with some pants that I purchased (Sigma AR) The seam in the butt area came apart four months later and I am a very slim guy. The material on the back of one leg also started to look damaged. I sent in a service request also no resolution over a month and a half ago.

They sent a response saying it is because of covid that they have slow response times.

In my personal opinion this brand of clothing is good for the occasional recreational only use. The shoes and boots have been holding up well but the pants and the jackets do not hold up that great for the frequent, every day user in the PNW. and the online customer service has not been great especially this last year.

I tried to buy a gamma mx jacket which I can t find in stock in any store in the Bay Area. I can find 10 sizes of the hoodie in every place I go, but not the jacket. The Stanford store told me oh, we ll call the Seattle store; they have it in stock. They can mail it to you. I order it over the phone, clearly explain what I want; everything seemed fine. They ask for an email address. But somehow I never get the order confirmation, just eventually a UPS notice of shipment. When the package finally arrived, guess what? I received a hoodie! So I wasted a week while my old gamma mx jacket is literally falling apart. I m very disappointed: if you don t have it in stock, call me. If you aren t sure what is being asked for, verify.
I expect a company that charges hundreds of dollars for a jacket to have better execution.
