We just received our Braille Menus and are very pleased with the appearance and quality of the final product. Excellent customer service, communication and assistance throughout the process. Fair and reasonable pricing as well. As a small family business, attentive customer service for all of our guests is important and we are excited to add the braille menus to our shops - so a big thank you to the staff at Braille Works.
Horrible place to work!!!!! There is no structure to the so called training they want to give their new employees. Work is just thrown at you with hardly any guidelines. And when you ask for help you are told to hold on a minute and then no help is provided afterwards. Even with repetitive asking. They belittle their employees and make them feel ignorant. My trainer had the nerve to say to me I am surprised you even got the job with how little you know. When I started there I was told we want you to succeed and we will help any way possible to make that happen. The only thing that working there for a week has proven, is that they have no structure what so ever. The computer programs don t run properly and always having to log out for updates witch takes time away from productivity. The lack of help for a new employee who has never done this type of work before is ridiculous! I would never recommend anyone to work for this place. It s a complete waste of time. The benefits are horrible, the work environment is horrible. Cramped small spaces only big enough for your computer monitors. Management is no where to found. They stay locked up in their offices. And when asked to talk about the problems you are having with lack of training. All you are given is well there is reference to guide you through the procedures. Well the reference is so open ended it leaves you with more questions than what you had in the first place. Completely rude and unprofessional business that just takes money from their clients and treats employees with little to no respect.
Braille Works is an amazing place to work! I have been with Braille Works for almost 10 years, and I cannot say enough good things about this company. The owners are fantastic, the opportunities for advancement are plentiful, and the atmosphere is one of encouragement and kindness. Braille Works provides training and encouragement to those looking to move into leadership roles in the future and management is very responsive and open to suggestions and feedback from all employees. I feel incredibly blessed to work here!
Braille Works helped my students and me tremendously with a project for one of our beloved US Army officers who recently needed to learned braille. Amanda was right there to guide us from start to finish and couldn't have been more friendly or generous. Thank you.
After contacting three other companies, Braille Works was the only one that returned my call, and professionally worked with me to translate my children's books into Braille. The product arrived on time and correct. I will use Braille Works for all future translation and printing jobs. I highly recommend this company. We just competed our second contract.

Unpleasant place to work. Management is passive aggressive and there's little to no communication within certain departments. Pay and benefits are laughable. A little too cold to be a Christian based company from what I've experienced and heard from other coworkers.
Ms.Weaver is super amazing and beyond generous as she provided some fun give-a-ways to bring a school presentation to life! Great place and staff!

Great place to work! As a team member, the support, training and encouragement I have received is unlike any other place I have worked. Management and senior management have always made themselves available and genuinely care about meeting the needs of their teams. The company has great benefits for a company of it's size - medical, dental and vision, a generous paid time off/vacation package and several 401K options. They try to promote from within and encourage interested team members to grow into leadership roles. They are open to, and act on, feedback from team members. I would (and have) recommend applying to any opening you see posted.
