Well, DON'T be a woman and apply for a job there. I applied for a delivery job on 5/20, the first day the job was in the paper, and was told it had been filled, by a very surly Martha Boyd. I call my MALE neighbor to have him call, and not only was she nice to him, but offered him an immediate interview, and actually discussed the 500.00 a week wage, and perks.
I called back and asked again and was told by Martha Boyd that the job was filled. When I asked why my neighbor was offered a job, and I was told the position was filled, Martha said, "This is not a job for a Woman"... REALLY??? A delivery driver job???? Not even a CDL's required for this. I guess maybe she thinks us Women can't make a resume, don't have experience, can't pass a background checks, have good driving records, or be neat in appearance, which were the only things stated in the ad that was required... Hey Martha... Why do you feel this way about Women??? According to your own statements, you don't think Women can handle things in the big world, yet you own a business. Hmmm. Discriminate much?? And don't even get me started on the Veteran thing
Their sales people are very friendly and do exactly what they say. Have had no problems and have been dealing with them for a few years now. I would highly recommend them and will continue to do business with them. Thank you guys so much.
