Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort Review

Absolutely beautiful location and fantastic facilities. The golf club, hotel and spa make this the complete package. The food at the hotel is incredible, well - portioned and tasty. The ability to improve your game with the PGA Academy, driving range and putting green are welcome additions and in my case, absolutely necessary.
Membership to the PGA Academy can be achieved at very reasonable rates and surprisingly, full membership to the PGA course too... I would recommend anyone thinking about joining to look at the packages available as they offer great value

Had an evening meal as invited to wedding reception - limited to 30 people, as just coming out of lock-down. Although the pre-ordered choice of dishes was not extensive, all 3 dishes were exquisite! Beautifully presented, VERY tasty, and the beef was melt-in-the-mouth tender! Staff were professional and friendly, and couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely return, and perhaps stay overnight too!

Excellent service. Friendly, helpful staff. Golf course is excellent and the spa treatments are wonderful.
We ate off the fixed menu which was cooked to perfection. The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need and more. We stayed there for a special occasion, birthday/anniversary, and the staff added a few special touches to acknowledge this. We would highly recommend this place

Easy access to golf, brilliant to be able to use 3 hole practice course at any time.
Chaos at Sunday morning breakfast. Took nearly an hour to get hot dish. Self service for cereals would be much more convenient for guests. All staff very friendly & professional, even under pressure.
Overall enjoyed our stay.

Had afternoon tea at the hotel. Exceptional service and lovely food. Well worth a visit.

This is a really beautiful and well run hotel. The rooms all have beautiful views and comfortable beds. Good food and wine. The staff are very professional and helpful. The golf course is spectacular and there is a driving range and practice course. The spa and pool are good. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I recommend this hotel for families and golfers in particular.

lovely room with nice gowns and slippers . massive bed lovely linen . grounds are a golf course but we had a nice walk seeing wild Hares and deer . Breakfast are good full English for me one day a bit slow. Next day different staff all was good . Dinner unfortunately not great . restaurant couldn't fit us in even as residents bit disappointed with that. We had room service 1 night, food good. the next night restaurant full up couldn't fit us in google search ring top 7 restaurant pubs on trip advisor all booked up or Closed, success of government eat out deal I guess. Had to drive miles for a Kebab .Hardly romantic meal for the Mrs's lol.
Pool open and jacuzzi no bubbles allowed, sauna, steam room closed government regs covid .no discount on price. What was nice free entry to Bowood house gardens which is a nice place to visit . Not a bad place bit overpriced . We don't play golf . come back when spa all opened .Good centre to visit Devizes and Castle combe

I was extremley lucky enough to have been taken here by partner for my 60th birthday.
Wow is all i can say!
Outstanding surroundings, Excellent food, Staff were second to none.
Even bigger surprise to have extra family arrive too (bubble of 6)
