Undertook a wine tasting at their cellars (Dec 2016) and privately, at our apartment in Joburg a month later. The wine tasting at the cellar is good, with adequate detail provided, general assistance fair and the opportunity to taste their premium range, Le Cave. I would consider the Le Cave range to be top class and relatively inexpensive to its peers; it has won a number of awards, with overall quality and tasting profile above 4 star Platter. The 2015 Pinotage Le Cave was awarded double gold Veritas, a testimony to how good their wine is; the Chenin, Shiraz and Cab Sav also have high ratings. The non-refundable charge for tasting at the cellar, even though you've bought a wine or two, may need to be reconsidered in the medium term. Overall i would definitely go back ASAP. ; wines are inexpensive with lots of bang for your buck.

The private wine tasting was excellent. All the La Caves were showcased, with side by side comparison of the Wellington Wines range. Xania, the marketing manager, had great command of the group, 18 of us; and we were able to work through 12 wines in quick time. A very informative, fun session. I would definitely have a private wine tasting with Xania and team in the near future again - great concept and superb execution.
