Far too small rooms, but very nice people in the restaurant

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The biggest plus for me is that it is right on the sea

Very nicely decorated, friendly and courteous staff, breakfast was okay, even if there was little choice of cold cuts. Only one star deduction because of longer waiting times at the elevator, with us the door to the bathroom raked extremely and the TV often stuck.

We have been staying two nights in this hotel. The room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The lady there in the wait staff was very friendly. What was very disappointing was the 13.50 per day parking fee. I think a hotel should be offered to guests free of charge. 6 per day per person tourist tax. I'm okay in my own country. Seems like this. The reception was uninviting, so were the receptionists. They didn't even look up to greet you. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and you cannot get a cup of coffee as a guest. The village and everything is paid parking or permit holders. The village is very outdated and uninviting. Totally not equipped for tourists in winter. Returning to the hotel: Two lifts, one of which is out of service. And with such a tall building it takes a bit of a wait. Especially when you need to. And you expect a little sea view from a hotel on the beach. It could only be admired outside. Not recommended. Waste of money.

Hotel which is not worthy of the name hotel. Disappointing experience to forget quickly.

Very nice renovated hotel, right on the finest sandy beach of Zandvoort. The rooms are air-conditioned and modernly furnished. They are also clean. Small drawback, there is only a sliding glass door to the bathroom, which is right next to the bed (at least in the booked room) so relatively loud background noise the breakfast is well arranged and delicious. In the evening the breakfast area is a restaurant, which is also very good. The hotel is very centrally located and has its own parking (about 14 per day). There are many floors with a nice view either over Zandvoort or directly to the beach or the sea.

Outdated hotel. Are busy with renovation.
1st floor rooms have side sea view. Primary breakfast and the larger rooms are spacious with bath and shower. Good service.

Very very disappointed with the hotel! Not an effort to speak French! We had two dogs with us, the day of registration asked us nothing and one day before departure we are asked 80 thieves. Staff not very friendly. And room not very clean !! Do not go there

It is unbelievable which building sin in the last millennium could spoil this beautiful beach. If you are looking for mass tourism you are probably in good hands here. If you want to avoid this, you should alternatively look for a small pension in the area.

Very nice and friendly employees, who will speak to you neatly regardless of the time (we arrived at 00:30 at night). Beautiful rooms great well cared for breakfast and the ZIZO lounge is an absolute must. We will definitely come back.

A warm welcome. Spacious room and a good Dutch buffet

I can not say anything bad about the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good. However, I'm used to 4 * hotels a bit more comfort. As my predecessors already mentioned several times, the rooms were very spatanisch. The beds (good, that is probably with each different feeling) were too soft for us, the bathroom very small. I like the peace and serenity of the Dutch, but at breakfast and abens at the cockails they were ertwas zuuuu left me, because everything was a bit in coming. All in all, but still recommended for a short break. Which is good in any case: the hotel is very central! You have the beach in front of the door, shopping, casino and restaurants within walking distance. I mention that we had a room with dune view, with a balcony.

I stayed here during the Covid19 restrictions. The hotel was practically empty but the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was served in my room and it was good. I had a newly renovated room with a side beach view. The in house restaurant Zizo Sushi Lounge was great. Lovely ambiance and the food was impressive. I enjoyed my stay very much.

It is that the tower is still standing and is close to the beach, but the floors above the reception are in need of major maintenance but then also really large (demolishing and redesigning) now it is a dairy cow where ignorant still on not recent photos book a room.
Beds and mattresses are guaranteed back causes, perhaps the physical therapist has a practice next to the hotel.
In the corridors it smells of smoke from the apartments that do not belong to the hotel but belong to owners.

Picture of this hotel is quite misleading. It is not that high building what you see. Hotel is that like extencion in first level and sea view only in suites. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Room was big and clean.

Spacious room on the first floor. Hotel is on the promenade and you just have to cross it and you are already walking on the beach. Very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic employees. Towels were replaced unsolicited. The building / interior could be finished a bit better / more modern here and there, but that didn't spoil our pleasure. Breakfast also excellent care of. On departure we had forgotten to take something home, but that turned out not to be a problem. An attentive employee had found it and we could pick it up at the reception.

Many negative comments on this hotel, I do not understand! new room, clean, very nice breakfast !! And also lovely walking on the beach with a little bad weather!

No air conditioning in the normal rooms. People can enter your balcony via the fire escape, so you don't open your balcony door at night.
You burn away completely in the summer. For that price without air conditioning it is too ridiculous for words.

I can only recommend the hotel in the whole. The room we had 1 floor K8 and even had sea views. Room is modern and really big enough. The breakfast was very good, everything was fresh and delicious. In the immediate vicinity are many restaurants and shops. The staff was always friendly and could play all information.

For sleeping the hotel was enough rooms functional furnished a bit dated. The breakfast and the dinner were very good

The location of the hotel is great, right on the beach and not too far to walk to the old town. We were lucky that we had a renovated room, which was very nice for us. Everything was new and nicely decorated. There was a small fridge built into the wall. The safe was also including heating or air conditioning. I mention this because unfortunately it is not always a given. There was only one open closet in the room. Or. Shelf. There was also a balcony, with a beautiful view, but no real demarcation from the other balcony / rooms. We were on the 7th floor. So we took the elevator, which was a bit annoying about Corona. Since these were very slow and since they could only be occupied individually or per household (I understand) but that took longer. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and tasty, Corona moderately adjusted. You found that there were also some places that could be better cleaned or renovated. Sometimes lightbulbs are missing, I think these are things that can be fixed very quickly. I can't judge dinner. Staff were very friendly. The room was partly cleaned late. But okay. The parking lot is for guests .. therefore closed to others. Stupid but that it is also chargeable for guests. I think that belongs to a hotel and the parking spaces are offered for free.

Very loveless load, room was ok but not more.
Windows did not open properly and the breakfast buffet was the worst I have ever seen at a 4 star hotel.
A lamp was broken and the bathroom strangely completely wet and virtually flooded with water.
One night cost 200, - for 3 people, although half of it might have been appropriate.

I didn't even lift the blanket and took my own and put a towel under me !!
The closet is overlooked with greasy stains ..
In the shower there are missing flow seals in places, it has already become clogged with black mold ...
The existing hair dryer is useless unless you spend three hours in the bathroom without working ventilation and burn your hands ...
You are advised that you have to eat somewhere else due to renovation work, but not that you will be woken up very early in the morning by the construction work ....
For the price you should look for something else you don't have to do to yourself

I had to ask several times when I found out that the single room was being renovated. Dear people - please do not pay more than 150 to stay overnight in a possible construction site! ATTENTION ATTENTION BE CAREFUL HERE !!!!

No more people, defective heating, defective wifi, hair on the blanket and pillow, the bed was not clean, 149 + 13.5 parking 5 city tax = 167.5 , breakfast I took out 20 , well anyway but that Floor from the hallway everything was incredibly dirty, we were taken to a complex next to a building where a doctor had her practice. Guys I was there and I don't recommend anyone to stay overnight for nothing

We booked the studio and thus had a separate entrance from the beach promenade directly into our room, which was very practical (also because of our dog) and the view was very great. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Overall, however, it was very overpriced and a bit old. The cleaning staff came every day in the late afternoon, in the morning / morning it would have been more appropriate. Overall it was fine, but we would book another hotel next time.

At the moment I am staying with my mother in the hotel on the 4th floor, after a friendly reception we take the elevator up, very nice detail is the screen in the elevator on which you can see the luxurious rooms. The room is very stylish and tastefully decorated, making you feel at home, you can make tea or a coffee and a nice minibar in the wall, the bathroom is trendy and the rain shower is very pleasant. In the evening we have dinner at zizo lounge, delicious from the room directly to the restaurant, where you will be received very friendly.
All the staff are extremely hospitable and so you really get the feeling that you are really eating out, a nice night out with delicious food and prepared with love.
Now we lie comfortably in bed and enjoy our evening here.
Tomorrow morning the breakfast which we are already looking forward to .... Today I had a wonderful birthday thanks to palace

What a terrible hotel or actually flat full of residents, of which here and there a hotel room (60 pieces) and even a physiotherapist practice in the ramshackle hallway

- throw 50ct on top of the tourist tax of 3, you pay 3.50 there

- parking 13.50

- very weird musty smelly building

- room ice cold, not warm

- carpet dirty and full of stains

windows so dirty you can barely see through them.

- beds so overly soft that you have back pain within 10 minutes, can barely turn and therefore both lie awake all night.

-in the breakfast room also cold

Only plus is breakfast is good and has nice sea view.

Never to this hotel again, certainly not worth the money and no warm feeling of comfort there, but more "where did I end up"

4 stars probably a joke. The rooms skate right at the first entry bad. Rooms were just dirty. So I expect something better for 4 stars.

My husband booked this hotel for us for holidays but we were very disappoited with the service. The staff were very rude and the cleaner came in the room and asked me will you clean the room or shall i do it. I was very upset cos we paid them for a good service but staff are very rude we went ther for a week but returned in 2 days.. not going back there..

Price / performance does not fit. Nice reception, otherwise 70s charm.

Friendly staff. Spacious clean (dated) room with spacious bathroom. Reasonable beds and a good breakfast service

Pro: The location right on the beach promenade is unbeatable

Not so great:
-What I thought was a shame that the toothbrush cups were shrink-wrapped in foil and the cups for the kettle were paper cups.
-On the way to my room you had to use a very long hallway that smelled like a laundry.
-In the information folder in the room phone number was given, for example how to reach the reception, but the room had no phone.

In the center right on the beach. Breakfast was good but crowded, rooms very old, with us without Wi-Fi. Parking fee and overall much too expensive.

Very small bedroom for two people. Bathroom is even smaller, so small that you first have to step over the toilet before you can get to the sink and shower. Hygiene is hard to find. We did not find any photos on the site in our room. Not to be repeated!!

Much too overpriced, totally run down and absolutely not worth the money! We were sooo annoyed! The location is ideal, but around it there are much better hotels at much fairer prices!

The hotel looks a bit neglected from the outside. The entrance area and the Zizo Launch (where breakfast is served) are modern and clean.
The rest of the hotel is in need of renovation. The room was very small but relatively modern. Unfortunately there was no way to stow one's things somehow because there was no closet.
The balcony in the room is very nice but strange because the rooms (balconies) are not really separated from each other.

The bathroom is very tiny and is only separated from the room by a pane of glass. The shower with rain shower is great.

A small fridge in the room and a TV are available. That's it.

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is okay too.

All in all, unfortunately, much too expensive. Especially the parking facilities at the hotel or in town are a joke. 13.50 for 24h parking. We have never paid for a parking space at a 4 star hotel.
The hotel should actually be a two star hotel.
