Greatest place of the city, should be better in spring and summer. Great combination of cultures.

The Pier Bournemouth is sensational, great place to stroll and enjoy the sea view, I recommend.

Refreshing walk along the pier,you have to pay a small amount to do so ,but you can save it to use another day it has a 12 month value.so you could walk along the pier every day for one year, lots of activities for young children, cafes and restaurants.

The price of a pint of bee has gone up 75p since Feb. A bit naughty I thought.

Nice walk along the pier even when the weather isn't great, always something to do.
Lovely to just stand and watch the world go by.

Expensive entrance fee but cafe at the end of the pier a great place to sit and admire the views.

Only has rock and reef on it and you need to pay to go on but really good views with deck chairs.

Love visiting the pier though now an entry charge its only 1.50 and can use it for whole year

Had a stroll along a very blustery pier. Was a beautiful site with surfers battling the tide and making the most of the waves. Enjoyed sat having a drink and people watching.

I really loved this beach because it has very good views and it has so much good things to do and it good if your going out in a family.

Before going to study in Bournemouth, a logical question arises: what kind of city is this - Bournemouth? And so the idea was born to tell about Bournemouth, not like in an encyclopedia or guidebook, without photoshop and other retouching. As I saw, heard, experienced, from the station to the very edge of the Bournemouth pier.

Bournemouth is located in the south of England, on the English Channel, not far from the Isle of Wight, about which the Beatles and the Jurassic Coast sang (a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which you can visit by staying in the city). The name Bournemouth means "the mouth of the Bourne" (mouth is not only the mouth, but also the mouth.)

This resort with long sandy beaches, an ocean aquarium, numerous attractions, an information center has become a real student city. It has many schools, the English language and not only, Bournemouth University is famous. Moreover, students from different countries. You can meet guests from Japan and China, India and Pakistan, Russia and Ukraine, Africa, Australia and both Americas. And the Europeans of all countries.

The sea is especially interesting at low tide, there are many shells, sea animals, large jellyfish, for example. And at sunset ...

In the Royal Park (Queens Park) you can play golf, listen to a brass band, watch Bournemouth squirrels,

an avatar with parrots (one speaker), pheasants and colorful birds.

But the main thing is a large balloon in the center, where you can rise above the city and see the sea, the Isle of Wight.

Of course, double-decker buses run in Bournemouth, as well as in London. When you sit on the second floor, you drive up to the bus stop, and instead of entering people you see the roof of the station, this is almost an aerospace sensation that you must definitely experience yourself, but don t stand on top for too long, shake there be healthy, and the foliage face.

When I was still on my way to England, the Italian Amir, who stayed in the same family, was already waiting for my arrival.

We became friends and explored Bournemouth together from home to the beach. For example, a large Bournemouth cemetery with spiny trees.

As for food, in Bournemouth expanse! Products from all over the world are brought here. This is more than you thought! Here you can find palm oil from Ghana, various herbs from Africa, amla, a drink from basil seeds from the Maldives, smelling strange fruits from Asia. Aki fruit from Jamaica is very interesting; it tastes like a omelet!

In the store, which is run by Pakistanis or Thais, you can find both Asian betel and African ogbono nut, to taste something between coconut and soap!

And this is in addition to traditional fish and chips, tea drinking in English: scone (bun), which should be spread with cream cream (clotted cream) and English Breakfast tea with milk, as well as the recently become popular chicken in spicy piri-piri sauce .

Starting to find coins is a sure sign that you are in the country where you arrived.

Bournemouth's neighbors. London can be reached from Bormut in a couple of hours by coach (intercity bus) or train.

And to Stonehenge - less than an hour on a couch or sightseeing bus.

Already on the road to Poole there is a small stretch of beach with singing sand: it is such sand, which consists of small round grains of sand. Its peculiarity is that it makes rustling, whistling or squealing sounds when you walk on it, run or throw your hands. But this site still needs to be found, and it's not easy!

Went today at 5pm everything was closed even the bar and restaurant

Had really good fun, the music by Never mind the Bongos was great, great atmosphere

A pier - as usual in England and the seaside resorts - protruding far into the water. At the top of the pier is a lighthouse, which can also be climbed during the day.

In the evening mainly anglers stay here and throw their fishing rods out.

Even at night, the pier has a certain charm, which stands out due to the neon lighting in different - especially changing colors.

The pier is within easy walking distance, the streets are well developed and relatively new.

Could be lovely but the beach is always littered with rubbish.The bins are overflowing meaning swarms of wasps and flies.Grim

Bournemouth Pier is an essential place to keep a good memory of Bournemouth. Off season it is allowed to ride on the pier, during the main season there is a small tax to pay. Not too much though At the entrance to More

Love it definitely going again, been twice and I still love it , good time with family, the sand is clean so you can enjoy walking on it xx

Experience was good well when it came to bumper cars, the man who runs the bumper cars told us to give 3 tokens and my son will only get a minute on it because there's no customers we agreed my son sat in the car the he got up and went to another as the cars hasn't started man approached my son told him to leave telling me take your token back come back when there's more customers

It's a very nice pier but it costs to go on it. A short walk to the end and then a drink in the bar (Key West).

Great place for day out. Took my family during air tattoo. Loved it. Lots of things to do and good restate fulfil everyone s hunger. Not too expensive as I had thought. Lots of Seats available along the pier. Summer is on the horizon and will be soon heading back. Highly recommended.

A typical seaside Pier. A bit pricey maybe, but the ticket can be reused.

Excellent pier, great for watching the surfers and a lovely coffee from the cafe on the pier.
