Absolutely cracking. Key west bar and grill have the best cocktails. Bar staff are brilliant. Food is really good. Love it.
Good old fashioned seaside pier with a nice food bar at the end. Rides for the kids and am indoor climbing centre and a zip wire from pier end to the beach.
Great range of places to eat, fantastic views. one thing is as you are on the beach the food and drink is expensive!
Better to book in advance. Good cocktails and efficient service. Really enjoyed it here more than pier in Brighton
The worst pier in the UK, on the website said they are open but they were closed 28/12/2016and too many other issues
Very GOOD place to walk and see the SHIPS there HAS been 6 there once but 4 to DAY
Beautiful views from the pier in Bournemouth. You only pay 1.20 and use your ticket all week. Lovely cafe. Expensive children's rides.
OK pier but has a very good cafe/bar, Key West, with decent food.
Had to pay to walk on pier aswell as the few things on it.
Key West on Pier super amazing choices of cake, ask for teapot or additional hot water for proper English tea to enjoy your views. Dogs allowed on Pier but not in venues which is fine with me (own dogs).
Very nice pier with tillem view of the coast. We were fishing there. Unfortunately, nothing bite on this day. There is a separate tzm fishing platform. In front there is a coffee and some attractions for children (trampoline, rides ...) and at the entrance a gambling den. Seems to be common here, I haven already seen more often. You have to pay for the pier.
chaotic beach that becomes insurmountable in summer
Took the kids in the indoor climbing bit pricey but really good fun
Great place to stroll down. A bit overcast today but still lovely
Nice view of Bournemouth when you look back but nothing much else going on
Interesting place to go with the family, nice beach
Fantastic place clean friendly and amazing weather :)
Excellent beach.
Well maintained and clean.
Miles of sand for nice walks.
Great pier. Entry charge is reasonable and ticket is valid for the whole season
Great view of the sea and cruise ships passing the area.
Nice restaurant on the pier that you can enjoy between dips in the sea.
Walking along the pier on a sunny day, we decided to have coffee at the restaurant at the end of it. The sun was warming our back, the view, of clear blue skies was spectacular. The grandchildren loved their hot chocolate. A heart warming day overall.
Nice beach and pier. This is a ticket to go on the pier if his before 6 pm. Bournemouth has got Sandy beach. Very nice. Parking can be an issue if you are going in summer.
Its beautiful place to be at, during summer there is a charge to go on this between 9am to 5 pm. Otherwise not I think.
Beautiful location for a walk. Can regularly find people fishing off the pier
Nice beach but i swear i ssw something big in wate- oh no
Provides all the shops and restaurants for a fun day at the beach

Bournemouth. With seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea, the vibrant cosmopolitan town of Bournemouth has it all - a vast variety of shops, restaurants and holiday accommodation, buzzing nightlife and endless countryside with beautiful award-winning gardens and water sports galore. Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town in the county of Dorset, England. According to the mid-year estimates for 2010 from the Office for National Statistics the town has a population of 168,100, making it the largest settlement in Dorset. It is also the largest settlement between Southampton and Plymouth. With Poole and Christchurch, Bournemouth forms the South East Dorset conurbation, which has a total population of about 400,000.
Bournemouth was founded in 1810 by Lewis Tregonwell after which Bournemouth's growth accelerated with the arrival of the railway, becoming recognised as a town in 1870. Historically part of Hampshire, it joined Dorset with the reorganisation of local government in 1974. Since 1997 the town has been administered by a unitary authority, meaning that it has autonomy from Dorset County Council. The local authority is Bournemouth Borough Council. Bournemouth's location on the south coast of England has made it a popular destination for tourists.
Bournemouth is located directly to the east of the Jurassic Coast, a 95-mile ( or 153 kilometres ) section of beautiful and largely unspoilt coastline recently designated a World Heritage Site. Apart from the beauty of much of the coastline, the Jurassic Coast provides a complete geological record of the Jurassic period and a rich fossil recorded area. Bournemouth seafront overlooks Poole Bay and the Isle of Wight. Bournemouth also has seven miles ( 11 kilometres ) of sandy beaches that run from Hengistbury Head in the east to Sandbanks and Poole, in the west.
The Dorset and Hampshire regions that surrounded Bournemouth had been the site of human settlement for thousands of years. However, in 1800 the Bournemouth area was largely a very remote, barren and sometimes very dangerous heathland. No one lived at the mouth of the Bourne River and the only regular visitors were a few fishermen, turf cutters and gangs of smugglers until the 16th century. During the Tudor period the area was used as a hunting estate, Stourfield Chase, but by the late 18th century only a few small parts of it were maintained, including several fields around the Bourne Stream that runs through the Gardens now in Bournemouth town centre and a cottage known as Decoy Pond House, which stood near where the Square is today. A place well liked by Smugglers in those perilous times.
Amazing vantage point on a stormy, windy day to watch the big waves and brave surfers. Brrrr. It must be freezing in there!
Exllent food at the restaurant, great staff and great service aslo activities for the kids (and big kids)
Althouhh we love going there...the management dont care about how their customers perceive them...we spend a lot of mo ey with them. For instance why close the umbrellas on a hot sunny day..when the customers clearly sit under them for a reason..when we ask why thr stsff said management told us to do so...(it was 3 hours before closing). Rathet tske the umbrellas away and dont create an expectancy
People who come can talk for them self
The best place
Great view and plenty of time to take lots of photos.
There is a small fee to enter the pier. At the end of the pier are some children's rides and other amusements, a large cafe, and a climbing and activity centre which includes a 250-metre zip line from a tower at the end of the pier to a landing ramp on the beach.
Good little pier fun for the kids and zip wire is fun
Had a nice afternoon on the pier during the Bournemouth air festival
Also had a couple of drinks on a very hot and sunny day
Nice old fashioned pier with amusements and great views of the local area.
Beautiful place, the water in the summer is cold compared to ours but you can still swim. The bridge is the main attraction of the city, after a wax now you can enter without paying the ticket. Great for taking photos or taking the girl on a warm summer evening.
The pier was very good on busy weekend due to the air show being on, a brilliant week end.
Lovely in the evening when it's not too busy. Worth a visit! I would advoid peek times and it can be very over crowded and when that happens the normal is to be expected, overflowing bins. Messy toilets and loud. But go when it's quiet and your have a great time
Lovely place to visit for a romantic walk with a partner or alone with yourself! Can't believe the amount of surfers in the water! Great place.
