Boston Harbor Hotel, BHH, has very nice rooms that look smaller on the outside but seem spacious inside. The colors in the rooms are mainly blue and white with high profile beds, about a meter off the floor and give you large closets and updated furniture. Its a place more for functions and events because of the large halls able to be rented to the public but other than that, the lounge area, the bar and one small expensive gift shop ... there isn't much else to do in the hotel. The hotel itself has more of a historical look to it inside and friendly staff. Some rooms even have a balcony or what appears to be it all to me but it's really a rooftop. You cannot access. The mini bar in the room has a sensor that even if you pick up a drink, whether or not you drink it, will still charge you just her lifting it up out of it. I believe most hotels do that now a days. Just be careful of the charges on your bill. Parking garage is available for believe $44 a night, if I remember correctly... or have Valet at front door for much more. Overall I'd prefer BHH over Intercontinental unless I planned to be using other parts of the hotel instead of just staying there for the room.
