Boss Staffing Review

If I could give this agency a 0, I would. This agency is beyond terrible especially this dumbass recruiter who can't even send me a simple text message for the location of an interview I had this week. I'm beginning to wonder if they just hire people right out of the streets for these positions. Terrible terrible agency, ignore if possible.

Terrible people, extremely rude. Don t waste your time people.

Great Job agency! Helped me out big time as a newcomer to Canada. Friendly and professional staff members. If you want work, they will find it for you.

I worked for B.O.S.S. for almost one year as a driver for Amazon. Holly, Shianne and the rest of the staff were always friendly, caring, professional and receptive. Holly called every week to make sure everything was going okay with my work and during COVID-19 every week to do my screening. Every Thursday I would receive a pay stub in my e-mail and several hours later the money was directly deposited into my bank account. Anytime there was an exception to this I was duly notified via e-mail or even sometimes on the phone. Anyone looking for work in the GTA would be well served by applying here. Highly Recommended!

Quite friendly and helpful, would say one of the best employment agencies I know, they got tons of jobs and always make sure they find something that feeds your schedule

Great staffing agency. Dealing with Amber makes it so much easier to pick up hours. Always a pleasant person to deal with.

The front office lady is not even close of kind, they don't ask for all the documents they need in the beginning, making you waste your gas and time to come back here many times... one more agency that don't care about people...

These guys are fruad i suspect. They only collect IDs and SIN documents and never call any one for any job. They should be investigated to find out what they actually doing. They are not there for recruitment.

I have registered with this agency for several months now, and I have never gotten a call for a job placement, it makes no sense collecting people's personal information if you know you cannot provide a job....everytime I called its always nothing available right now....absolutely ridiculous....

They use fake calls to get you register with them. They call random people by picking resume from indeed and say we have a job for you thats paying $22.50/hr, And you have to come at certain time for interview.
When you reach there they ask you to register first. After registration they say we have your profile, if somthing comes up we will call you.
Such a lair.

Good for inexperienced and newcomer students to Canada to start their first work and for getting warehouse experience through Boss staffing employment agency.

I went to fill an application yet the entire staff was rude therefore I turned back and walk out the front door. I suggest if these people want to hire hard worker they should consider treating people with respect otherwise they are going to struggle trying to get workers. No workers no commission for them.

Hi according to the ministry of labour it states that one is alllowed to refuse unsafe work, and still not be fired. Unfortunately this company does not believe in that. I started out as a floor general labour person, but realized it was not safe to work without a forklift so I refused unsafe work. When I got my forklift license I tried to reapply. This compaby decided that they would not allow me to work. I rate this company -1 stars for their lack of assistance for minorities. They were completely racist to me and I have decided to report this company to the ministry of Labour.

My experience with BOSS Staffing Agency has been totally positive. I consider BOSS to be a first class, professional agency with courteous staff who respond to my inquiries promptly. Actually, I'm quite surprised by some of the negative reviews that I have read and I think that those reviews have more to do with the attitude and level of motivation of those individuals. BOSS can't do everything for you. Common sense would dictate that you have to have some basic skills and qualifications that are in demand so that an agency has something to work with.
I am an experienced DZ licensed driver with a clean driving record.
After registration, I was sent on an interview and driving test with a company the next day. Unfortunately, that opportunity did not work out because the truck was standard and had a faulty clutch. However, I was given another opportunity with another company a few days later and I was able to get a good full time job with plenty of overtime. Due to the heavy lifting, early hours and extremely long days, I decided I would not make this opportunity a long term one. However, I wanted to establish a bit of a work history.
After one year with my current company I contacted BOSS again and they had another job opportunity for me right away. This job pays $4.00 more per hour than my current job, is closer to my home, requires no heavy lifting, has a shorter probation period and I don't have to work as many hours because I'm getting paid more.
The service, professionalism, courteousness and prompt follow up that I have experienced at BOSS has been top of the line. I would recommend BOSS to anyone looking for a good quality job.

Been with these ppl for over 9 yrs. Wonderful and always prompt with job offers. Holly,Amber and the rest of the crew were like family to me. I would recommend this Agency to anyone at any time. The multiracial lady at the front has no customer service skills whatsoever. She is very rude. There was another lady there, unfortunately I didn't get her name. She is also very rude. I heard her making mockery of the question I asked. That is so unprofessional. She is a white tall lady, a little thick, she had an ivory sweater and black leggings on today Her and the multiracial girl laughed after making mocking me, that ridiculous. How do you make fun of a client because of language barrier or whatever the reason may be. I asked a simple question and I got the eye rolling gesture. Despicable.

I wish they spoke to people in a more polite manner. Those ladies should remember that nothing in life is permanent, no position is permanent. Ones actions or behaviour can cause a major loss in their life. Thus everyone should be mindful of how they treat and talk to other...regardless of the individuals state. I may be the one in need today but you don't know what tomorrow holds for you...so treat people fairly. Treat others the way you would like to be treated, the way you would like your loved ones to be treated. I could have chosen to be rude as well, but I wasn't brought up that way. I was brought up in a home with a mother, father and discipline. I will never disrespect any human being...NO MATTER WHAT!
