I just got the 7 ton log splitter and it split some huge logs in one pass. I'm getting the 4 way splitter head to make it easier. Now I'm splitting logs in half and then splitting each half into quarters. This little electric log splitter works like a charm in my garage.

I have been trying to get this log splitter fixed for 2 months. It takes a week or more to get responses from the company. All the parts and service videos they have sent me so far have been Chinese, not manufactured in america as claimed. The brand new valve I just recieved is broken and will never create a seal if I took the time to install it. I wish I knew how to post pictures to review.

Purchased a 25 ton gas splitter in October and all was well with a well packaged unit. Noticed a small dent on the oil reservoir but didn't think much of it until the dipstick separated from the cap and fell in the reservoir. Notified through the contact form on the website and they responded within a couple of days to ship a new dipstick. Not as fast as a response from Amazon but I still consider that great customer service from a small business, especially during a pandemic.

Customer Service is HORRIBLE! Purchased ED10T20. After waiting 5 weeks because the item was on back order, I received shipment via UPS Freight with tailgate service. Log splitter packaging was stout. Metal angle iron frame with a plywood floor to support the heavy splitter. No compromise to external shipping container whatsoever. Accessory assembly parts were packaged in a separate container box located internal to the metal frame package and strapped to the splitter. Several essential washers, locknut and wheel bushing were missing. Upon unpacking the unit, I discovered it was damaged; the electric motor fan housing was caved in at the end and the fan is questionable. There was no apparent damage to the stout shipping container. I can assume that Boss-Industrial does an inadequate job at inspecting its product before shipping to the customer. Fixing these issues is a whole other story. I have been waiting over 3 weeks to assemble my splitter. The total evolution to report the issues to their customer service department has been a challenge. After waiting 4 days for a reply to an email, I called them on the phone. They have elected to ship replacement parts in two separate shipments via UPS ground, in their words due to high shipping costs, which takes each a week s time to arrive. I was told that the shipment would be sent that day (which was Monday), but they didn t get it shipped until the following Friday and then it was a week after that before I received it. That shipment was supposed to have the replacement fan housing AND the missing assembly parts. I only received the fan housing. When I called them to report that I didn t receive the original assembly parts, I was told they didn t see that in the email. Not sure how they could have missed that in the email as it only listed 2 things that I needed and I had to call them after 4 days because they never replied to my email. Received splitter on Nov. 27, and as of this review Dec. 12 still waiting on assembly parts which will not arrive until Dec. 17. In short, due to lack of thoroughness at their factory, Boss-Industrial has shipped a damaged product to me and have elected to rely on customer to fix after sale problems. Unfortunately I can t write anything about how the wood splitter runs, I m stuck in the endless loop of their inadequate Customer Service.

Boss Industrial has the best service team I ever seen. I bought an used 7 ton log splitter on eBay. They helped to find out the original purchase date on the S/N in their system and authorized me residual half year warranty free. I got couple small parts replaced. Now my log splitter works beautifully and it has taken care of every log I have fed to it, big and small. Thanks again to Boss!
