Boscobel House & Gardens Review

Did not get a chance to see the best global house from the inside but the garden and the surrounding area is just magnificent

beautiful place! so quiet and very well kept property. the staff are very nice and very informative. Was such a great experience. came to visit today with my fiance as a short trip as we just got engaged last week and we had a phenominal afternoon with just us. the perfect setting. Definitely recommend to all hudson valley residents. A true hidden gem!

Boscobel was so beautiful, my girlfriend and I went in early December and it was just magnificent. The house was gorgeous and the lawns were well maintained, and the hiking trails were a really fun bonus! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

This is a beautiful area for walking and it has an interesting history. The tour is brief - no more than an hour. Our tour guide, Sam Lawson, was incredible! He had a deep knowledge of the house and such great enthusiasm for its history and architecture that really enhanced the tour. The pictures give an idea of what you can see. This is a worthwhile visit on a beautiful day and it s just a quick drive away from Cold Spring. Visit the museum midday, then go into town for some novelty shopping and food

What an amazingly pleasant surprise and experience it was to visit Boscobel House and Gardens. It is quaint, charming and absolutely beautiful. The views of the Hudson are gorgeous, as well! Honestly, we already can't wait to go back and experience it, fully. Totally recommend going here!

A great place to visit and commune with nature in any season. Fantastic views of the Hudson River.

Lovely grounds with views of the Hudson River. Incredible herb garden dates back to colonial times. Woodland trail meanders around the property . Great place for a picnic.
