Modern art collection in an operating office building. The exhibitions are only open on the weekends. Two floors are dedicated to exhibit while the rest of the collection is spread throughout the offices. The offices themselves are designed and furnished in a nice mid-century modern style . Especially the CEO top floor office is amazing, if alone for the hifi system. Great Bosporus views from every floor.
I have been dying to visit this contemporary art gallery and have not quite managed a visit on my previous trips to Istanbul! Borusan Contemporary! Wow! What an experience! A corporate head office Monday to Friday and a contemporary art gallery on Saturday and Sunday! You're allowed to walk through all the workspaces on all the floors and enjoy at the art collection/ exhibits in the building! So modern and progressive! There are stunning views of the Bosphorus from all the floors but the terrace views are phenomenal! Can only imagine how much more spectacular on a sunny day! There is even a resident cat who lives on the upper floors with his/ her cat kennel kept on one of the balconies. One could easily spend 2 - 3 hours in the building. There is a lift but wear comfortable shoes - there is a lot to see. I could easily visit the gallery again the next time I am in Istanbul. Well done to Borusan for sharing a piece of their world with the public! A visit is highly recommended.
One of the iconic buildings of Bosphorus, thanks Borusan for assessing this as a gallery of modern art. Even if there is no exibition, you can enjoy the incredible view from the terrace. There is a cafe which also has a spectacular view. Only negative point that i can mention is that the exibition areas are very small.
A good viewing platform, which is only available on weekends. The ascent upwards costs 10 lire, but stunning views open from the roof.
One of the best modern art collections in Istanbul. Also it's historic building and Bosporus view is amazing. Worth to see even if you are not a modern art lover.
The location and the building are spectacular, really not sure about the exhibition though. Interesting but it would not be worth the trip if it wouldn t be for the location. Entrance fee is 10TL...more than fair.

Very interesting institution in a fabulous position on the Bosphoros. It is essentially an office building of the Borusan Holding company, and doubles as a contemporary art museum on weekends when the offices are open to the public to view the art. There are also some non-office spaces as well. The art is nicely curated and displayed, and the place definitely deserves a visit. What makes the visit even more attractive is the little Cafe annexed to the museum, with stunning views of the Bosphoros and the impressive bridge.
