Boots Review

Lovely big Boots, have been there a few times and always been able to find everything we need.

A large Boots store with a good range of food, medicines, toiletries and cosemetics. Not as large as the central Nottingham branches, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. :-)

The Pharmacy staff are very helpful and there's also a few specialist skin care, make-up counters and a wide seletion of perfumes.

The giftware area's not huge and varies depending on the time of year.

There are photo printing facilities here too.

If you're after food, do arrive as close to noon as you can, because this branch is very popular with nearby businesses, so it can be well picked over by 1pm.

I have just waited in a queue in Boots riverside as due to work Commitments and long queues I have been unable to get to a chemist for some anti biotic cream for conjunctivitis which I have suffered from for the past week. When it was my turn a young man at the door asked what it was I needed. He asked me questions personal to me to confirm it was conjunctivitis! Then he advised me oh we have actually ran out of cream for this condition ! So Boots the chemist have apparently no anti biotic eye drops or cream for conjunctivitis! First of all I was asked what I wanted before joining the queue then I was diagnosed from a young man in a fluorescent vest asking me personal questions in front of several strangers ( I am guessing he is medically trained and aware of data protection ) and then turned away as he just remembered that the pharmacy was out of medication for my condition ! I suppose I just have to be thankful that I didn t need medication for vaginal thrush !!! I am fuming .

This Boots is big one - therefore good variety.
But Boots are bit more expensive for me, I shop here only for discounted goods, or for goods which nowhere else I can find.

Love this Boots branch, always my go to store. I had a little issue with some aftershave I purchased recently, but Katie from the No7 counter went above and beyond to rectify everything for me. I have never felt so appreciated as a customer as I did by her. I know we re all doing a bit more online shopping atm but this really has made me appreciate being able to go into store and actually speak with a member of staff. I will most definitely be shopping here again. Thank you Katie you re a star!

Fantastic shop pharmacy is excellent they make you feel you are the only person in the shop.

Great staff and fantastic customer service ft the pharmacist, just registered new here and I apologize for my voice barrier been having some struggles with my voice apparently lol. They order your medication in time and if you or the pharmacy are short they usually have an extra supply waiting, able to have a variety of prescriptions here thank you very much Colin

Easy to find what is needed from a reliable provider with good parking and extended hours.

I went in to exchange my Fitbit as there was a fault. I was dealt with Julie at the Riverside Nottingham Boots. I just want to say that Julie was an absolute delight!! She was friendly, professional & very helpful. I've worked in retail & this sort of genuine service is rare. Thank-you, Julie, for making my experience a pleasant one. Also, I went back to Boots a week later & Julie remembered me. How very lovely

Unsure where to write this as there's no option for the boots store.
But I had travelled quite a distance for a gift set on sale at this store, I was wondering for a while and seen a girl on the perfume section ask if anyone needs help, which showed me she was easily approachable,
I asked where this gift set is and she walked me to the Isle in which there was none left, in which I thought she'd just say sorry and leave but no, she went out of her way to check the stock room for this item and when she returned she couldn't find it but gave me something very similar to it and the price range, but she still told me I can order it offline in which I said no as I would've been happy to take the item she offered. She then walked me to her desk and checked me out!
So nice to see someone so helpful and smiling all the time as I work in retail too and its hard to keep such a fun and bubbly attitude! Keep it up, you have wonderful staff

Excellent customer service! I shop there every week and shopping assistant is always nice and chatty.
