Boonslick Regional Planning Commission: Empowering Communities through Comprehensive Planning
Boonslick Regional Planning Commission (BRPC) is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive planning services to communities in the Boonslick region of Missouri. Established in 1969, BRPC has been working tirelessly to promote economic development, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life for residents in its service area.
With a team of experienced planners and support staff, BRPC offers a wide range of services that include land use planning, transportation planning, community development, environmental planning, and grant writing. The organization works closely with local governments, businesses, non-profits organizations and other stakeholders to identify their needs and develop strategies that address their unique challenges.
One of the key strengths of BRPC is its ability to bring together diverse groups of people with different perspectives and interests. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders from various sectors such as government agencies, private businesses and community organizations; BRPC helps build consensus around common goals that benefit everyone.
BRPC's commitment to excellence is reflected in its accreditation by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). This prestigious recognition demonstrates the organization's adherence to high professional standards in all aspects of its work.
In addition to providing planning services directly to communities within its service area; BRPC also serves as a regional resource center for information on issues related to economic development, transportation infrastructure improvements or environmental protection. The organization maintains an extensive library on these topics which is available free-of-charge for public use.
BRPC also operates several programs aimed at improving workforce development opportunities for residents within its service area. One such program is the Resource Room Assistant position currently open at Warrenton Job Center. This position will help job seekers find employment opportunities by providing them with resources such as job listings or training programs tailored specifically towards their needs.
As an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion; BRPC values individuals from all backgrounds who share our passion for making positive changes within our communities.
