Bone Student Center Reviews

After a multi-million dollar upgrade and expansion, which began before the state budget crisis had ended, we have a sleek, ultra-modern student center. Most unfortunately for the core mission of the high academy, this kind of expenditure is necessary in the highly competitive business of attracting students. If we don't make our school have the full range of amenities, we will lose students to the schools that do. That's just the reality, expensive as it is. Do I like it? No, I came from the time when old, venerable, and intergenerationally similar academic experiences were the hallmarks of a fine university. That having been said, the new interior makes me feel like I'm in an airport terminal, and the old, comfortable places students could sit to study are now gone in favor of more open space, which is a big thing these days. I think you'll like the new Bone Student Center, especially if you're not an old, relatively conservative grouch like me.

I've attended different events here and all have been successful! The most recent have been "Human Library," "Treat Yo'self," and the Lunar New Year celebration. Utilize the public parking lot on Locust Street to avoid getting a parking ticket.

The Bone Student Center is always clean and there's always been parking available during events. Even with the current construction happening, events have carried on without hesitation. A great place to bring students & the community together!

Love The School So Far.... This Building Is The Go To Building.

This place was awesome. I went for the "Who's live anyway?" show and it was great. Staff was nice and building was clean. Seating area was nice too.

The renovations are a great addition! Really great place to study and grab some food! Cool fireplaces and fancy new furniture

The parts that have been renovated are really nice, but half of the place is still under construction and the barricades by the construction areas make the walkways small and crowded.

There are a lot of great renovations going on right now to make the Student Center look more updated and functional. There is a good variety of food that can be found here and all the restaurants provide a nearby option to take visiting family and friends when you want to stay on campus and relax. The atrium found in the building is a very beautiful and relaxing place to study.
