Bond Academy Reviews

I strongly advise against choosing Bond Academy. The school is severely lacking in fundamental resources and support. The building is in disrepair—roofs leak, heating and cooling frequently fails, and cleanliness, particularly in the washrooms, is clearly not a priority. Classrooms are cramped and missing basic necessities, such as functional windows and sinks. Instructional quality is concerning. Bullying remains an ongoing issue, and administrative staff are consistently unresponsive or dismissive when problems are raised. The facility itself is a rented space now being partially repurposed for commercial use, raising serious questions about the school’s long-term viability and safety. Frankly, it does not resemble a stable or suitable learning environment. This is a deeply disappointing institution, and I have serious doubts about its future. There has been a better business bureau complaint.

Bond's teachers are top-notch and the school offers many lunch-time and after-school activities. The included childcare before and after school is very convenient, and it is nice to be in a small school where the kids get to interact and learn from younger and older grades. Mr Carney's Phys Ed program can't be beat and the kids have plenty of opportunity for exercise through the day. Bond needs to take more care to ensure the cleanliness of the building (the washrooms in particular are generally filthy and the janitorial dept is seriously understaffed), the safety of the property (ice and snow are rarely cleared in time for the start of school days), and the general up-keep of the building. The so-called hot meals program leaves a lot to be desired... no healthy choices and they even sell the kids sour keys if you can believe it. So, yes, a great education and opportunity for active pursuits, but the condition of the property needs serious attention.

A Canadian private school in Toronto that truly teaches students in accordance with their aptitude! My child has been at Bond since kindergarten and is now in grade 5! Many of his classmates and sisters are attending school in Bond, and they have graduated from high school to study at Canadian universities! Success starts from Bond! Education as It Should Be! Success Starts at Bond!

It is recommended that your school cancel the high school and stop the Chinese students.
