My favorite place on earth, a Christian environment that makes for a wonderful family vacation!

Beautiful property, suitable for meetings, conferences and camps for all ages. Gorgeous location with 2 lakes near by. Comfortable, big rooms great for accommodating all kind of groups and families. Large, modern, well equipped gym. Big cafeteria, good food, quick, friendly staff.

Love Bonclarken! Raised in the neighborhood and bring my niece to see her grandmother. Things have changed over the years but I still see it as my home. No better place to grow up. Thank you Bonclarken!

Great place to make memories. Lots of things to do, and lots of quiet roads for walking. The hotel is pretty great. Especially the haunted third floor.

I am a vacation homeowner in the Bonclarken neighborhood. It was my grandparents home so I have spent many years here. I have enjoyed many camps on the grounds and it has been so neat to watch as they upgrade and make changes to the conf grounds throughout the years. Great place to be and now my kids enjoy coming here just to be here.

A family favorite for decades!

Wonderful went to Camp Blue Bird for Cancer Surviviors for the first time, last year for 3 day retreat. It is a wondetful place for learning, relaxing,bonding, sharing, comparing, laughing,crying,healing. It is spiritual and soul nurturing. Its lovely and peaceful,fun educational,entertaining, relaxing. If you have or are experiencing Cancer, this is the place to help you heal. It is located on the beautiful property of Bonclarken Estates in Flat Rock N.C. where they have allowed people like me to come and enjoy for 25 years. They have two camps a year once in Spring, and once in the Fall. This year 2018 is theirv25th anniversary. This was my second visit, and I thank them and all the people envolved that make this possible... There should be places like this every where for Cancer surviviors to flee to! Thank you Bonclarken Estates and the amazing Leslie Vernar Camp Director and her wonderful staff for putting this all together so well, and to all the volunteers who work so hard with so much caring and love!
