Buyer beware. Waitress entered the wrong order. Refused to correct it. Told me to eat and if I wanted the dish I did order she would be happy to charge me for it. Seriously? That is the service to expect here, you are better off going to the numerous other restaurants surrounding this place.

Great place to come for some good food before a night out. We came on a Saturday night and it was packed so we had to sit at the bar. They have live music, which added a nice fun touch to the scene and they sing a Venezuelan tambores song for all birthdays, which makes you want to jump out of your seat and dance.

The food is mostly colombian and venezuelan dishes but they also have churrasco, picanha, and lomo salteado. Everything we ordered was so delicious: arepa de choclo, churrasco, bandeja paisa, ensalada andina, and to drink el libetador.

My one complaint was the bartender took about 20 minutes to bring our checks. The place was so busy so I get it but I'm giving 4 stars for now until I'm able to come back.

We had a nice dinner at Bolivar recently. We went on a Monday night. It was not busy at all. I was able to make a reservation on Yelp but it wasn t needed. It is always nice to know that is an option.

I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was very tasty. The meat was tender, the fries weren t too soggy and there was sufficient rice.

My friend got the Bandeja paisa and he enjoyed it. Everyone loved their meal and drinks.

Came here to celebrate my dad s 60th birthday with the rest of my family. We had two babies with us, and the staff was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They were very attentive to our needs and even brought extra food for the babies. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the appetizers, to the main entrees, and the drinks. It s a little bit dark inside but had nice mood lighting and beautiful decorations. Definitely would come back.

They gave us a free complementary appetizer which was super good. I wish I remembered what it was called, but is one of the photos I posted. Besides the appetizer, everything else was just as good! Plus the staff was super friendly and helpful, which for me is always the best part of my dining experience.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, what more can you ask for?

It helps if you understand Spanish but it is by no means mandatory to speak it. The staff is completely fluent in English and was quick to explain anything I asked. And again, the food was delicious.

First meal in Miami! I was so impressed by the food here. From the drinks, which were strong, to the desserts everything was delicious! The service was great and although they didn't have live music on a Friday night ( during Covid), they did play good music which added to the atmosphere. I would love to come back and try different meals.

This place was great from start to finish. We even went back for drinks on a different day.

We were immediately greeted upon entering and seated right away. The menu was quite extensive - cuisines from Columbia, Cuba, Brazil, and other South- and Latin-American countries. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable and provided some very good recommendations. I ended up ordering the picanha, since it is a favorite when I visit a Brazilian steakhouse.

The picanha was delicious and the salad was very well-dressed. I appreciated that it didn't have a sugary dressing on it. The "yuca fries" were more like yuca tots (little chunks deep fried), and they were some of the best yuca I've ever eaten. I could have eaten three orders of them.

Drink-wise, I ordered a glass of sangria, which was cheaper than many comparable drinks in SoBe. The glass was huge, and it was a very tasty classic red sangria with chunks of fruit. A couple days later we went back for drinks and I ordered the same thing. They also let us taste an appetizer for free since we had come back - I am not sure of the name but it was a chunk of fried cheese below a chunk of sweet plantain. You wouldn't think the combination would work but it really does!

This restaurant has delicious food and drink, and great service. Highly recommended!

Beyond impressed with how delicious the food was. I normally do not order appetizers but the menu looked enticing.

Completely worth every penny.

For the main meal, I got the the churrsco(spelling it wrong, haha) Absolutely one of the best steaks I've ever had.

Service is good, but the food is amazing.

This place is pricey for dinner. The staff was very inattentive. The atmosphere was great, but the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The food is delicious and it was a great portion.

In a sea of restaurants in South Beach, it's a Great little spot that is more than just flash. Tasty morsels from various spots within the Latin America culinary world.

Carnivores are in for a treat, and ceviches are pretty top shelf. Do yourself a favor and tapas your heart out until you can't move.

A nice restaurant on Washington Ave. A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but totally cozy inside. The kitchen was excellent and the music was great too. Salsa evenings take place here regularly.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this was outstanding! The El Libertador was one of the best (and prettiest) cocktails I've had in a long time and the Bandeja Paisa was as delicious as it was plenty. If you're particularly lucky you'll be served by our incredible waitress Sabrina, whose upbeat and charming attitude remained entirely undeterred by the fact that she had to keep running through the rain to reach our umbrella-covered table. I'll come back next time I'm in Miami. Muchas gracias, Sabrina, y muchas gracias, Bolivar!

The food was good, service was really bad. (There were 2 occupied tables when we arrived today/Friday) We stood at the front door while 2 girls behind the bar just looked at us. After a few minutes we went to the bar to ask, learned we must seat ourselves.
After sitting, Employees walked past us for 10-15 minutes until someone finally acknowledged us. Even after that we had to continue waving at people to get assistance.
Servers really have no incentive to offer quality when they know we're forced to give them 25% tip.
To make it worse, my plate was taken before I finished eating.
The service we received was below average, definitely didn't earn a 25% tip. I will not be back.

Great experience here! The food was good, the drinks were on par, and the bartenders were friendly - if I'm ever in Miami again, I'll probably come back. Plus, very close to South Beach, if you're a tourist.

The food here is delicious! It's hard finding menus with vegetarian options but I was able to find something to eat and enjoy it! My husband is a meat eater and thoroughly enjoyed his food as well. I definitely recommend. The atmosphere is fun and has a Latin flavor to it. The drinks are very good too.

Just a few blocks off of the main path but so well worth it. Great selection of Guatemalan, Peruvian and Venezuelan dishes. Prepared fresh and so tasty. Staff was very attentive. Being off the main tourist area made for better pricing to!

They have a good vibe and very friendly staff but the food did disappoint. My pork belly was significantly overcooked and really hard to chew/swallow. The garlic shrimp was decent. People are really nice but the food really disappoint us for the amount they charge

LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our server, Silvia B was a total sweet heart. I wish we would have found this place before the other dump called, Apagayo. Take the walk to this restaurant it's more than worth it!

If I wasn't so completely dead tired from not sleeping or eating much for days, I would eat this faster than blood turns red hitting the air. This is the best place we have found during our journey to Florida and the staff are incredibly nice and friendly. I never write reviews on places, and I can barely think right now, but wanted to at least give this place a review with a 5 star that it deserves.
