Got denied with a real ID. Tried to provide secondary ID with recent photo of my CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT...dude didn t even give it a shot. Bartender: bald with facial hair and hipster glasses. Good luck being of age and getting a beer here.

Ah, so great to feel like I'm out of Boulder, while being in Boulder! All new restaurants and bars thinking to open in BOulder would be wise to learn from the Biergarten. Unique, out of the box, fun, scrappy, imperfect, not concerned with local this local that - just making a great, fun environment for food and drink. And drink! More beer! Delicious beers!

Excellent service.

Excellent service.
Would do well to have more cider options
And gluten free options.

I came here with two others after a hike, and we all got the jager schnitzel with pork and spatzle. The pork was crispy and light, and the creamy mushroom sauce was delicious. The spatzle was perfectly chewy, although it was lacking a bit of flavor. The red cabbage was soft and flavorful, and I surprisingly enjoyed it. I also tried half of a fried potato and cheese pierogi, and it's definitely not traditional. Traditional pierogi is not deep-fried, does not have a spicy sauce, and is not topped with mushrooms, peppers, and onions. The jager schnitzel portions were a bit lacking for the high price of $18.50 post-tax. Service was okay, and as I came during covid times, the servers were wearing masks as they should be.

I make this a planned stop every time I'm in Boulder! I love the food here and set up. Good Belgium beers and the live music is always fantastic. The communal seating is unique and adds to the charm.

Bryan and I met here. :) We come back whenever we can.

The mustard (all 3 types) are amazing, and it's worth just getting a basket of fries to eat the mustard with!

There is a U of Mich Alum group that watches the games in the back. We were able to be apart of that once. It's pretty fun!

The day time has a comfortable vibe, and the nighttime has a fun hip vibe.

Such a good spot! My wife and I just moved to Boulder from Texas, and had a real need for some German food. This place filled that spot and then some. I got Jager Schnitzel and it was perfect. My wife got the fish and chips and we agree that it s probably some of the best fish and chips we ve had. Love it. We ll definitely be back.

Absolutely one of the tastiest meals we ve ever eaten. !! We ve been lucky to have eaten some amazing meals in our 16 years in Nyc as well a few gems in Providence ( RI ) and some international. Neither of us have had more than a few Czech meals in our life and we don t know about authentic or not as we are not Czech. But we do know when food tastes 100% amazing and this place hit the spot!! Delicious, with prompt and considerate service, and a wonderful relaxed and open atmosphere.

Went there for lunch as I heard the food was delicious. I was not disappointed. I had the Stroganoff, and thinking it was cooked up like the traditional American version. No. It was traditional German. The noodles we're thick and the Stroganoff was hearty. Brandon was the Chef on duty and did a superb job. If what you're looking for is traditional German fare, the Bohemian Biergarten would be well worth the time to check out.

We had a great lunch at Bohemian Biergarten. It has a great atmosphere and the beer and food we're very delicious. You can get your draft beer by the half liter or liter and they have boot glasses for the larger pours. We had the spaetzel, schnitzel sandwich, and curry-wurst. I would recommend all three.

Service was terrible, which is the main reason for 2 stars. Way overpriced and food/beer was only okay at best. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend West Flanders over this establishment. Server was a self-centered, entitled, whiny liberal brat who was angry at the world (more specifically, the 1% ). People like her and her fellow gender studies peers are the reason other people make fun of Boulder. She works here and takes her anger for her poor college major choice out on the innocent customers. HAVE FUN NOT GETTING FREE STUDENT LOAN RELIEF, HARLOT. Makes my day just thinking about watching her cry and scream next November, when her people fail miserably again. It s just a matter of time before she shaves her head and becomes a violent protester/Antifa member. She makes both Americans and Europeans look bad.

Hands down my favorite place to drink in Boulder. Giant authentic German beers, solid beer garden food, plus the staff is fun and seem like they're happy to be there. The room in the back is one of the most underrated venues on the front range. I've been there for bands, karaoke, and even caught Aparna Nancherla and Samantha Ruddy doing standup there on comedy nights. Biergarten is one of the few places I'll take both my drinking buddies AND my parents

I like local beer as much as the next Colorado transplant, but sometimes you just need a German beer.

Great staff, good location despite the proximity to the tourist area of town. It's a great spot for your favorite German or Czech beer.

The food was delicious and I loved the atmosphere. Our bartender Kyle was enthusiastic and personable. If you are looking for a great German atmosphere, with food that lives up to the setting, then go no further!

Oh my how great a place is this. I rarely give 5 stars because it should to be hard to attain but these guys deserve it. The beers are absolutely fantastic and curated perfectly. And the strudel.. absolutely without a doubt the best, and most accurate, I ve had in the states. It s in the top three I ve had in my life, including Oma s.

Fantastic food (we had Jageschnitzel with the spatzle) and authentic-feeling locale. Never been to Eastern Europe, but I can imagine some older pubs/restaurants look like this. The beer is old-world lagers and ales (no NE-style hazy IPAs here). A great spot to hit before seeing a show at the Boulder Theatre.

I would give 10 stars if I could. I came here with my family to watch a couple games of the world cup, they were basically packed from ~9-2, but service remained great. All the staff was friendly and seemed to handle the large groups well. Beer was great, I had a German beer here I hadn't drank since I was in Hamburg. The jagerschnitzel danced on a line between textures, tender inside and a crunchy exterior, I wanted an encore. Mushroom sauce was great and spatezel top notch. Couldn't be happier!

Generally a fun bar. My friends and myself have made a tradition of splitting the sausage platter when we have a group. I recently had an issue where they forgot to return a credit card but was able to resolve it swiftly.
