Bodyfit Fitness Centre Review

Yesterday I went into this gym to inquire about joining. The gym looks great & clean but I like doing classes and all the woman's/good classes are in the morning which is good for trophy house wives that don't work and just want to look good. I work in the day and all the classes I could do in the evening is bootcamp which I have no interest in. @ nearly $100 a month for 3 months which includes class I have no interest in, I'll take my money elsewhere! I left this venue laughing my head off because the girls told me that the morning classes aren't even full which to me screams stupidity.

UNETHICAL AND FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY!!

I joined this gym back in 2019, I paid for their service without using them for once as I had to move out of that area for job purpose. I kept paying without using their facility. COVID came, gym got closed and when they opened they renewed my contract without informing me. Now because of that they are trying to send me to DEBT collection.

How unethical and immoral do you have to be to be? I did not have to do anything with COVID, I did not want that free renewal. There is a serious violation of human and financial rights. Just pathetic the extent they can go and hold people on gunpoint for 14.95.

When they made that contract they also say that gym is 24/7, cleaning is included. But they are not keeping the commitments they made. Whom should consumers go to for that?

What a gym. Alot of equipment, great classes and such friendly staff.

Good equipment and atmosphere, only the customer service is not professional, especially the tall man working there. I had problem with my account and I was seeking for help to sort it out. Some time they are deducting more then your agreement especially with weekly payments, not reliable at all.

Getting back into training after a long break from exercise and I am so glad I found Bodyfit Auburn. The coaches are amazing, super supportive and treat everyone like they are part of the family. The work outs are so varied and no matter your fitness level you are challenged.

Very bad experience. Faced issues with paymets as I was deducted additional 10 $ every week and the staff's excuse was that it is a mistake. I was turning in circles between them and their collection company. They also asked me to pay if I need to use their locker while the initial agreement was for free. Never to return there.

Please do not join this gym. If you see an asian guy called Neo , he is not the chosen one from the matrix. He is a guy who just cares about sucking you into a membership and doesn t want to let go. A friend of mine had one last week on her 6 month membership with this gym and had a supporting medical certificate of capacity stating she could not gym. NEO Took down her details and got her to complete a form, yet nothing was done. He sent the debitors on her for $20- and is giving her a hassle by saying he will pass her concerns to the admin team . If you care about health and the gym, the gym is ok. And if you don t want to have an egotistical, narcissistic guy managing the place, best you spend your money elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusted in the service received from the club manager and the retentions team. Cancellation process is a joke. Both staff members who dealt with me were condescending and hung up on me several times. I have never been more upset or angry about service received from people who are supposed to assist and help you. I was still being charged for a membership that I was not using even after trying to cancel several times. Communication was skewed, was given different advice about how to cancel. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT GENUINE. STEER CLEAR if you don't want to be ripped off!!

Best gym around! Brand new equipment, very convenient location, extremely friendly & helpful staff, great environment to work out in. Highly recommended!

I love the equipments and facilities in this gym that s why I prefer to drive all the way from Homebush to have a great workout.

This has to be the best all-rounder fitness club I've ever been to in terms of friendly staff, yoga classes and free-weight facilities.

However, I can only comment for those who like to train in the mornings, as I don't usually train in the evenings.

Also, I have to add, they make the best protein shakes in town!

Special shout-out to Stav & Taylor for their professional and sincere customer service, making it feel like a club that I look forward going to every single time.

I have been ringing last 5 days 20 times a day no answer what a hopeless service.

Bodyfit auburn has been the second home for me. I joined the gym just a month prior and I'm already in love with this place. This place gives me a vibe that I belong here. And, I can be whomever I want to be. The facilities here is more worth than the amount I'm paying for the membership. The staff are really friendly and concerned about their members. The customer service here is really commendable. In a nutshell, this is my go to place on my low moments and even on my happiest moments. I absolutely love this place.

Fantastic gym! One of the best I've been to in Sydney. I started coming here a couple of months ago because my previous gyms equipment was pretty outdated and nobody was attending much anymore. I think partly due to COVID, but also because it's an old tired gym. It was hard to get inspired and motivated when I went there. However since coming to Bodyfit Auburn, it is a very modern gym, there are alot of great members who attend plus they just got a whole bunch of new machines. The Cafe also serves protein shakes, ready meals, and supplement. Could ask for more - plus Fitness Passport members can use this gym (me).

when you cancel your membership make sure you take photo of the employee who took your form have his/her name save the date because apparently you will be asked of all that as a proof that you cancelled at that date not when you called after a month wondering why it s not been cancelled yet, if you wanna avoid extra payments

Gym is big and they have good snacks/shakes but gym gets quite messy and the music is not great.

What i like about this gym is its name , machine and most important its environment. Machine are too good . I travel like 15km to go that gym . Customer service are good enough. Looking forward to workout and refer my friend to join this gym.

Very Professional staff, Been a member of body fit.
You guys are doing a great job. best thing i liked was prepped meal availability. honeycomb protein shake was delicious. they make shakes with coconut water. very healthy. how could i forget about the sauna and state of the art locker room. Highly recommended.

Small gym and deceiving with how big it may seem and the colourful lights are too much. I felt like I was clubbing.

I've been a member years in Auburn. Good environments and equipment , but they do not provide locker key often as they have limited number of locker keys. You just leave your locker with personal belongings open or bring your big bag with you while working out. Bloody insecure and inconvenient!!! They need to improve management sincerely.

Joined the gym a couple of months ago and I have to say I love it! The vibe is very relaxed and unintimidating.

I've been coming to this gym for almost 3 years. What I like about this place is friendly and motivating staff clean and good maintained equipment and also the constant upgrade/renovation they do.

I visited gym and Stavreena took me around and showed me all salient features and facilities. I was very impressed the professional way she explained and answered all my queries. I never decide that fast but her positive attitude and no pushy way impressed me a lot. I called and asked her few more questions and she always replied with a smile. She is definitely an asset to the Gym. Also registered my daughter today.

Very bad customer service, they don t care about customer needs, manager always in meeting ...very complicated Cancel membership procedure ... after FINISHING the annual contract they still want you to give 5 weeks notice, pay the fees and NOT ATTEND THE GYM DURING THIS TIME.
Even if you pay cash they still asking fo bakr card Details and keep deducted....it s ridiculous...
In my opinion the owner didn t choose the staff wisely.

After signing my cancellation application they still charged me for two months then I realised after checking my bank account and contact them again and still waiting for the process

I payed them 160$ just because of the staff mistakes, I could donate that money to feed the homeless.

Very unprofessional management. They cancel classes and do not inform anyone. You have to go up to the desk and ask. The excuse is always we just found out or found out in the morning

Large range of equipment. A lot of bro and ego lifting clientele that can be both off putting and amusing.

A clean and large facility great to exercise in. Plenty of equipment and the atmosphere just pumps you up. Heaps of parking and very friendly and welcoming staff. Josh has been a very helpful and positive staff that greets you with a friendly face every time we enter. Been with this gym for 2 years and many more

Wouldn't recommend this gym, nice gym - uncomfortable atmosphere! Don't expect to use any machines or weights because they're probably crowded with groups of lads.

Don't seem to covid safe either, no one cleans or whipes the machines. Sauna apparently doesn't work sometimes, and you have to ask the unfriendly staff to turn it on.
Luckily I avoided the membership.

My fav place, really spacy, wide, not typical low ceilings. Great spa, shower , toilets changing room. Parking equipment everything is perfect.

Could be crowded sometimes, otherwise it really good,, have a sauna room, however only from 6am to 10 am and 5 PM to 10 PM

It's good workout place-would love more zumba classes on timetable. I miss Art group trainer from crunch though.

The reason why I have to pay more every week is that I am overdue. But I always have money in my credit card. Please think about whether the problem is in your own system.
I went to the gym tonight, the front door was locked but there were people still working out inside. and other doors were locked as well , more than 10people were waiting outside . And we didnt get any notice that the gym will close tonight .

Few issues with this gym. The gym equipment definitely needs maintenance. The floor is dirty, it looks like they don't vacuum it often and on the treadmills you can see dirty sweat marks on it. Some of the female staff there need life lessons on professionalism. When you ask them a question they seem unbothered and they have an ego to big for their head! It is a shame because i had such high expectations of this gym, from the outside view the interior of they gym looks awesome and it is very spacious but actually going inside the gym and working out, it is very dirty and the equipment and weights definitely need to be cleaned and maintained! it is really gross. You need to fix this issue asap!

Coz when you join they welcome you the best way they can coz you re paying them for getting membership but for some reason if you cancell you membership after the contract ends the way they behave is totally unprofessional and it s seems like that you re committing a crime for cancelling ur membership

Tried this gym out as a casual yesterday .. amazing variety of machines and free weights all look brand spanking new .. the guy at the desk was super friendly ..Def thinking about ditching Anytime

READ BEFORE JOINING!!!!!!!!!
I have recently had an injury to my back that has stopped me from working out. I presented a medical certificate to state this and that I needed my membership cancelled because of my injury.... by law they have to cancel...body fit have not cancelled my membership and are still trying to get money from me. The worst professionalism I've seen..

This gym is let down by a few personal trainers! Gym management need to really establish a professional ethic if they are to let these PTs work at this establishment or do not provide any complimentary PT session as joining bonus for new members. By all means, I would have used a PT after the first Comp session but despite leaving my numbers and following up for it multiple times no effort was made from PT to call me to arrange a session. Finally several effort , one PT called me to arrange a session and asked me to text him my availability. I sent a text BUT NEVER received a respond back, it s been a few months ! After realising he was no good , I contacted another trainer and this one arranged a meeting at gym only to tell me she don t do complimentary. It s not that I am looking for a complimentary one session that s not going to help get my result but I would use that Comp session to establish my need and my goal and would do paid trainings. Absolutely horrible experience when it comes to PTs. One good thing is some of the staff are amazing, specially Nej. Amazing with his customer service skills and if it was not for him I would have cancelled the membership !

Blond girl today early friday incredibli rude, after i told her she forgot to put a protein ball in she rolled her eyes and i told her no need to have an attitude , then she said be rude and i wont serve you , i said is being honest rude. Was going to join but not after this.

Very poor customer service in Auburn. Really disappointed with the front staff. They don t know how to behave with customers and no humbleness at all. Really unprofessional staff. Rest of the services are good. Inexperienced staff on the front desk.

First gym back in 5 years, loving it so far. Loving the interior design, vibes and most of all the choc peanut butter shake!
