I am glad I entered this exhibition.
I am glad I entered this exhibition.
You learn a lot about the human body and how it works.
An unforgettable experience, I do not rule out visiting the Guben (Germany).

Went a few weeks ago was awesome/surreal experience
I went here following the recommendation of my colleague Louisa Ramsay. I would say the exhibit was not exactly what I was expecting, but interesting non the less. The exhibit also provides an opportunity to check your blood levels and weight, muscle mass etc. I would say the House of Bols is a better tourist attraction. The queue for the chip shop down the road is also massive.
Very interesting to see bodies to learn the anatomy
Very interesting to learn about our bodies in this unique way (since all bodies you see are not props but real people who donated their body once they died for this exhibition)
Very informative and makes you evaluate your life choices.
Body Worlds has a fun and unique way of presenting Human Biology to the public. Filled with interactive displays, it'll pique your interest in your mental and physical health.
The fact that the body parts that are displayed are from real people makes this museum unique and defenitly worth visiting.
A must for anyone who is interested or fascinated by the human body. Inspiring and confronting at the same time. Tickets cost you 20 pp. For 6 floors you get a unique, explicit view into and on the human body but also in life, what is happiness and how it influences our health is the central theme.
An amazing experience for people from all walks of life. Lots of incredible visual displays, lots of information and a thoroughly well organised exhibit.
A must see. Quite good idea this project of happiness
Every exhibit for Bodyworlds is fascinating. This was one of the smaller ones but still great.
The most shocking thing about this place is that whatever the body body parts(outer and inner both) are of real humans which is preserved by the method of plastication, having said that i would also like to mention that people have voluntarily donated their body for showcasing or exhibition.
Everything has been explained very thoroughly. Even if someone is not interested in science and biology or medical will still find something or the other interesting or intriguing. There are few experiments or fun activities are open for visiters to understand. There are positive and motivating quotes displayed at every floor level. Happiness is one of the key focus. At the end of the exhibition there is a free body analysis section where you can get your reports like BMI, height, weight muscle and fat index and others.
Wow! Display was breathtaking.
Highly recommended, especially if you are fascinated with how our bodies work and how everything looks on the inside.
Not for the weak hearted.
Exhibition on the human body and its many facets. Very complete with content that can be disturbing and offend the sensitivity of some. Nevertheless we had a great time there. Duration on site: 1h30 / 2h on 6 floors.
Impressive museum in the Amsterdam central, highly recommend for people interested in how the body works or if you just want to see what the inside of our bodies look like
Wow, how instructive this is, great to see the complex body inside. Can't say anything else that they really did this beautifully.
(Tip) go in immediately at opening 09:00 then you can literally relax everything and take everything in at your own pace.
to do once, for the originality, but the very "plastic" aspect of the parts and the little explanation (audio guides in English only) ... not amazing, as an experience, finally ...
The Body Worlds is a museum that is worth seeing if you are interested in the mysteries of the human body in all it's (gory) details. Virtually all the exhibit are made from real human body, treated and plasticised to allow us to see all the different tissues that make up the different "layers" of our bodies,, including muscles, bones, nerves, other soft tissues and even blood vessels.
The exhibition is spread over five floors and all very well presented. Each floor is dedicated to a one system of our body, although the stand-out exhibits are the ones showing a full human is different postures and being able so see who the body reacts to the performing different actions.
There s a couple of fun machines to take measure of your body, one for testing your blood pressure and the other for measure body composition. Well worth the price of the ticker for more than two hours of entertainment.
Very interesting exposition, it is a bit disturbing sometimes but in a very cool and still interesting way
It was so amazing to see the skills portraid so beautifully, i was in awe the whole time being there!
Very interesting! Nice to measure your own 'values' afterwards through the Body scan
Very interesting, a bit creepy to know that they are real people. But still very interesting, well set up, few steps so you must have good mobility. Highly recommended
Exhibits are made of real human body. Since i study sport science, i would absolutely give it a plus. If you study or interested in biology, worth to spend at least 2 hours there.
The exhibit is definitely one to cross off your bucket list. Two hours tour (minimum) of pure bliss and utter amazement, watching real human bodies, plastinated by the practice development of Dr. Gunther Von Hagens. Per body on display takes over 1 year to complete. A medical and science wonder, outlining and to show the wonders of the human body, how to maintain or destroy your health over a lifetime. The exhibits are displayed in such minuscule detail. Awesome. The exhibit includes too the happiness project, free scans of your body, in real time, taking blood pressure and on the way out a real full body scan, revealing current details on your body. Must to visit.
We absolutely loved this exhibition and had missed it at home in Ireland...
Nice little museum type place to learn about the human body. 1- 2 hour entertainment value.
Interesting exhibition, almost all areas accessible for disabled persons as well.
Fantastic exhibition. Very interesting. Nice over arching theme of 'happiness'. Would visit again.
Very interesting, worth a look inside. I'm not sure if they change the projects but we experienced the happiness project and we left here feeling happier than what we were before we went in which I never thought was possible. We even left a little few special words at the end. Definitely worth booking this.
Nice experience. Good insights into the inside of the human body. Pleasant coworkers.
Nice museum with interesting info. Furthermore, I expected more from it
It is breathtaking. Really cool to see everything !!!
Recommend to buy tickets at advance.
The tour takes about two hours, is depend on you.
I was amazed by the display and the effect on me. I can't even say anything bad about this PLACE.
Even in the end they check my Body data
Very interesting exhibition about human body with exhibits showing body from outside
Museum is fantastic...I saw and leaned very interesting think of bodies!
Great exhibition really interesting, however I don't think children under 10 should be allowed in.
Did this on a whim and ended up being pretty impressed. Quite eye opening to how delicate and complex the insides of our bodies are. Gross when you think about it too much but didnt feel unpleasant at all whilst there. Dont go after visiting a coffee shop. The recurrent motivational/inspirational/happiness stuff was total bs and a little contrived/ felt out of place but look past it and youll see this is actually quite a marvel for both science and art
For those who like medicine and anatomy and a great walk, very good curiosities besides the messages.
Yeah, well, it was an experience.
Its very well located, short Trip from the Central Station. Easy to find.
I cant or better i wont say anything about the people displayed there. Well besides from that it was quite interesting and tastefull. I didnt have the feeling of "Entertainment" , more of a "learning experience". Quite nice.
That beeing Said, it was a bit of a let down. After the first floors you get the feeling of repeat. Sure , each Floor has its own theme. And the "small stuff" is different each floor. (Different body parts). To be honest i didnt know what to expect. I guess they could have mixed it up a bit. Or maybe do Something about the Layout. Idk.
It was "very good" but not perfect, atleast not for me.
Very interesting. All very nicely positioned. Top exhibition with clear explanation. Hats off to all the work that has been done here.
An amazing experience, not what I originally expected. Was an excellent exhibition about happiness, and the human body.
My partner wasn't feeling too well, so we went round quite quickly, but we spent over an hour in there - I could have spent maybe another 30 mins- 1 hr in there as there was lots to see.
Very inspiring museum... You explore there the greatness of the human body and all the presented figures and items are real
The purpose of the site is to provide an introduction to the anatomy of lay people..they succeeded in a fun and cozy way.
So interesting, make sure you get the audio guild makes it far better.
Fascinating!! Really loved this exhibition. A must see.
Totally recommended. Exposure of the body as it is and the perfect organization. Also well located in the city.
Great place very intresting if you have intrested in human body/anatomy
Very morbid and eary looking at body parts but very intresting to learn all about the human body
Very interesting and informative. Perhaps a little too hard for people with weak nerves.
Exciting and interesting, an interactive place which is educational for both adults and children. A great stop on a day out in Dam!
I personally had a really fun and enjoyable experience at body world's you start on floor 6 which was the head related part of the body and go down to floor 1 which is the start of everything so baby's and how they look in the body , it is a crazy eye opening experience to learn about your body from head to toe including male and female parts of the body and interesting facts about mental health , stress and drugs and smoking on what the effects it has on your body and I find it interesting to actually see what it looks like and that it's not just photos it's people body parts that people give go science , really would recommend it and it's a really good price for the amount you see.
Amazing exibit that really does change your perspective on yourself as a person while being tastefully artsy.
We arrived a minute after last admissions but the young guy on the front desk was so lovely and understanding after we explained we could not refund out ticket, that he let us through and we had the place virtually to ourselves!
Will go again next year to take our time and read more.
I still thought it was too busy, no control, just a tape that had to be kept away. Not leaning on the showcases what everyone just kept doing.
Also the audio that could be bought with it was not offered, after having returned it was simply handed out by hand.
All in all, this is not correct.
Nobody complied with the measures, I understand the outbreak here.
Otherwise nice experience ....

BODY WORLDS / Amsterdam EXPO is a unique exhibition that offers visitors an opportunity to explore the human body in a way that has never been seen before. The exhibition features real anatomical models that have been preserved through a process called plastination, which allows visitors to see the inner workings of the human body up close and personal.
The exhibition was created by Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who developed plastination in 1977 while studying anatomy at Heidelberg University. Since then, he has used this technique to create more than 20 exhibitions around the world, attracting millions of visitors.
At BODY WORLDS / Amsterdam EXPO, visitors can expect to see more than 200 real anatomical specimens on display. These include full-body plastinates as well as individual organs and organ systems such as the nervous system and circulatory system.

Visitors can learn about various health issues such as obesity, smoking, and heart disease through interactive displays and multimedia presentations. The aim is to educate people about how their bodies work and how they can take care of themselves better.
