Jason Porche was very knowledgeable. Helped me get some relief for my issues. Location is not the best, parking is tight and awkward. Place is very small.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and staff, but the message provided no relief. Ultimately, it got worse the following two days, and I had to follow up with my Primary Care physicians.

I have a lot of problems with piriformis syndrome, tibial pain, and numbness in my hands, and he explained to me why these things are happening and how to treat these ailments.

I had a wonderful experience at body mechanix. The LMT who tended to me was Lea Phan and is very good at her craft. As well was kind, cool, knowledgeable,and great to talk to. I highly recommend her and body mechanix.

Had a personal circumstance and couldn t go to my appointment but they decided to charge me $100 still. Called and explained and the lady was extremely nasty. Had gone to them before to get massages but definitely not going back.

The only thing is, I tried calling several times prior to my appointment to speak to someone about scheduling and ask questions about my Groupon voucher; but no one answered. I did send an email and received a timely response.

Poor. First have of massage on my back I felt the sharpness of fingernails the whole time. The room was tight by the bathroom so heard flushing throughout which is the opposite of relaxing.

I woke up a few days earlier with terrible pain in my lower back and radiating down my left leg. I went to my physical therapist who did dry needling, exercises and icing it but it only helped a little. I called Lydia at Body Mechanix Massage and Wellness. She got me in right away and did a deep muscle massage on my back. The majority of the pain left right away and the rest left after a few days. I am eternally grateful.

We came to New Orleans for my birthday and we stop at this place for a couples massage. I chosed a deep tissue massage and Lea who attended me was great. Very courteous and very professional was able to take care of my back issues. After the massage I felt like new. We will definitely be back next time when we are in New Orleans

Recently purchased a Groupon when visiting New Orleans on vacation. Considering that managing Groupon's can be dicey, especially when appointments are necessary, I was a little uncertain how things would play out. Thankfully, I had nothing to worry about after all. So happy with our experience at Body Mechanix. Even though it was a tall order, they managed to accommodate all three of my party at the same time on short notice. The actual massage was maybe the best one I've ever received! Can't recommend them enough, very pleased with every aspect of our visit.

The best massage ever!!! Marie was very calm, warm, she asked questions to know my body for that hour and she hit the hammer on the nail for that hour, she relaxed my body and removed all the kinks!!! The ladies that worked there are friendly and professional.. Thank you all very much.. Can't wait til my next visit.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! My husband and I bought a couples massage from Groupon for this place. Before I go any further, I want to say the place is not at all inviting and neither are the staff. There is one Asian young lady in there with a mean demeanor. The therapist wanted my 20 year old daughter to come in the tiny room with my husband and I while we are both naked to while we get a massage. Her reason was because there was no one to watch her if she sat in the lobby while we get our massages. After explaining how ackward and uncomfortable that would be, the therapist said that is our rules. As if my daughter was going to steal some cheap trinkets they were trying to sell. We felt extreamly unwelcome. We had to get a refund from Groupon. The atmosphere is full of negative energies- this is supposed to be a place of peace but they wanted to argue at us, so we took our business elsewhere. We will never set foot in there again!! If you want a great massage I recommend Nola Bliss on Lafayette St. in New Orleans.

Me and my husband had a session everything was nice the massage was great but every since the massage, almost a month later I have the WORST back pains I have ever experienced in my life when will my back go back to normal

Website says to call and book if you have issues with the site/if times you need are unavailable but there is never an answer, I m consistently directed to voicemail. I m trying to find a home for massages and I had heard great things but I can t seem to ever get an answer. I still want to book but your best bet is to try online, if you work as much as I do and don t see an availability you may have to go in person or you re out of luck.

Derec is really knowledgeable, friendly and gives a great massage.

I have now had 2 great massages there. Therapist listenes and reacts well to your concerns. I will go back for more.

My husband and I went in for a couples massage and it was just ok. We originally booked a 90min but cut it short to a 60min because it wasn t what we expected. The place did smell awesome, that s the two stars! I had a guy therapist( forgot his name) who s touch was as a new therapist and my husband therapist touch was as she was scaried. When booking I asked for experienced therapist and that s who they gave us. Wish I had the one all the good reviews were about but seems like she s no longer there or made up?

The massages here are phenomenal. This is likely my new go to.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I originally tried this place because of the awesome Groupon. (I used to be a "Groupon hopper... using one then another at different places) After my first deep tissue with Mary, I was hooked. Best massage I have ever had... period! It's very cozy and comfortable, not "clinical" or 'frilly spa". I now treat myself once a month even though I live an hour and a half away! (Plus, you get a discount for your next booking... extra bonus!) A true hidden gem.

I Surprised my best friend with a massage at this location and I'm so happy I did. They were very relaxed, down to earth calming environment that allowed us to be ourselves with the setting we liked. If I ever come back down to Nola I will for sure look for this name. (To the younger crowd they are snapchat friendly ) Thank you!!

Really enjoyed my massage at Body Mechanix. The staff are extremely nice and the massage helped me a lot. I have lots of issues with my neck and shoulders but they did a great job of releasing the tension!

The fact that they never actually answer their phones and you have to wait to be called back is annoying. But real complaint is the staff person who returned my call was extremely rude and condescending when I asked a question about the Groupon that I purchased. She talked to me like a child in a very dry and condescending tone, not a great way to treat people when your are trying to earn their business and their referrals. I have been here once before, because someone gifted me a service, the place is plain looks like they put bare minimum effort into it. Massage was not memorable. It doesn't take much to behave professionally and respectful towards the people who could potentially be adding profit to your business. I will never recommend anyone to go here after dealing with that staff person. Spend the extra money and go to Earthsavers its worth it. I guess I had to be reminded that you get what you pay for.

If you get an appointment, Mary is great. But don t expect a call back if you leave a message on the machine and they rarely answer the phone. I stopped by when I could not get through and they said they were in session all morning but I had just called a minute before I walked (for the fifth time) and no one answered.

Body mechanix has a line of natural products and services that can really pay dividends off in your life. From essential oils, to natural herbs and products. I love to go there to get a massage by Mandy. She has a great personality, very honest and transparent and has heavy but precise hands. She can adjust to any amount of pressure and stroke needed. Highly adviced and truly recommended. Go see them today, your one stop natural avenue.

Great little gem of a place with scheduling for evening and weekend availability. Melissa does a great job providing relaxing massages and/or identifying and releasing problem areas.

The venue is work in progress, but the service and knowledge brought by Derek far exceeds all other well established spa/massage therapy businesses I have been to. Muscle/nerve relief was greater than expected after one visit.

Go see Mary and Melissa for a massage. Both ladies are very sweet, give great customer service and catered to my problem areas.
