Truly the best place around to get a quick bite or take home some of the best bagels ever! My family and I will drive more than 30 min just to grab one of their amazing sandwiches. My husband loves the spritzers with real fruit juice! The only downside is the coffee is not the best you have had by far, everything else truly makes up for this one hitch!

I eat here A LOT and i love the food..... But was a little disappointed today when i got my bagle and was almost done with it when i bit down on what looked like the top of a squrit bottle that had ben cut off!!! It really hurt. I told the employees and they did refund me my meal! I will still continue to eat here as they do have the BEST bagels EVER!!!

Bodos is the best value for your money restaurant I have ever been to. And it is my favorite bagel place I have been to in all of VA. Everything from the egg and cheese bagels to the bagel sandwiches to the salads are reasonably priced and delicious! If I could give this place 6 stars I would!

Charlottesville staple and having been here 10 years they ve definitely grown on me...decent texture when fresh, cream cheeses are good. Yet they re not the caliber of your Northeastern options, they refuse to toast (which if you re a purest you wouldn t want but slightly frustrating that they flat out won t), they turn stale oddly fast, and there s not much particularly exciting about any of the options to entice you.
Best tend to be breakfast options especially if you re OK with a folded not fried egg.
A 3 means: It s solid, I d eat here a few times a year but unlikely to become a true regular, and am likely on the hunt for a better version of whatever you do.

Famous bagel spot in the Charlottesville area. It gets really busy on weekends morning times. They offer several different kinds and I also liked their coffee. Helpful employees. Seating can be limited but they do tend to become available pretty quickly. Will definitely visit again.

I know everyone in Charlottesville seems to love Bodo's. However, in my opinion, I'd take Panera or Einstein Bros any day. The location was dirty, the bagels were bland with no crispiness at all (even had mine toasted), very few flavor selections, and hardly any sandwich choices.

Bodo's does a great job even during COVID but this last time when I ordered 12 everything and 12 plain the plain were not warm and by the next day were rock hard, while the everything bagels were warm and still fresh the next day.

Bodo's is a Charlottesville staple, and has amazing sandwiches! They have the freshest ingredients, and their bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel is amazing! It doesn't matter if you go at the slowest time or the most busiest, they are very efficient at getting you served and getting you in and out in no time. It should be illegal to live in Charlottesville, and to never have tried Bodo's.

First of all, I'd have to agree with the person below on the flavor of the bagels, they are tasteless and working with bread I can tell you that they are very high in gluton, they possibly warm them in a microwave too, since they don't have a toaster. Second of all for the best service go Bodo's on Preston Ave, I've been to the Emmett Street store a few times and they seems to employ a combination the lowest and uncleanest of the low and board kids, who find a little pleasure in giving you the run around. I've encountered service with a sneer on a number of occasions, and I'm not going back.

It's no wonder that Bodo's is a local favorite. Excellent food, and some of the best service anywhere. When I was a kid, I'd look forward to lunch at Bodo's with my folks. I still get excited about eating here. I've had some fabulous bagels in great places but these are still a favorite.

The best lox and cream cheese bagel I ve ever had and I live in New York city! My order was prepared in a timely fashion, and the location is clean and sunny. The lines tend to get long (which is understandable, because the bagels are delicious), but it moves quickly.

Bodo's has the best bagles & tuna salad in Charlottesville VA!! I really wish they had a drive-thru window because the inside is always so very busy exspecially when the UVA Students come back. I would probably eat there more often if they did have a drive-thru window.

Fast, efficient service. Great prices. Amazing bagels! I suggest Bodos for cream cheese too - it is much better than grocery store offerings and is at competitive prices to whipped creme cheeses on the shelf.

Quick, affordable, and delicious. The lines can be long but they have a very efficient system down so you will receive your food quickly regardless of the line. Their egg sandwiches are on point, try the egg and ham with cheese or the deli-egg. Deservedly a Charlottesville staple.
